This place felt like paradise - 15 min walk from the Yangshuo village, all surrounded by nature, very quiet and everything we needed was taken care of to the very high standard! Service was exceptional, there is a really nice restaurant on site, the staff organised a tea ceremony workshop for us and the trip to the Impression Sanjie Liu show (highly recommended). We would definitely stay there again!

The location is beautiful, the view is amazing. As are the receptionists, everyone was very helpful and super nice. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was absolutely delicious, we ate almost every meal there and ordered different kinds of food-and every time the chef delivered DELICIOUS meals. The staff is also very helpful when you plan your day trips, book tickets or for recommendations like scooter rental. The City Center is not far, you could get there by renting a scooter, bicycle or with taxi/Didi. It was also super nice and quiet, which we enjoyed a lot. We didn’t miss the tv at all.

The hotel was gorgeous. Upon arrival, we were greeted in the lobby with a cup of lemon water. We stayed in the riverview family room which was huge and beautifully decorated. It made for a very comfortable stay with a great view of the mountains and Li River. The staff were exceptional. They were friendly, and went above and beyond to help us with whatever we needed. The location of the hotel was more out of the way, about a 10 minute car ride to West Street, and it is not the easiest to book a Didi from the hotel due to restrictions entering the area at certain times of the day. However, this wasn't a huge issue because the hotel has a free shuttle to West Street in the morning and afternoon. Booking a Didi from West Street back to the hotel at night is pretty easy too. Breakfast is a la carte with Chinese and Continental options. It is filling. We met the owner as well who was very friendly. There were guests from all over the world staying in the hotel. Probably the best hotel experience I have had, would definitely recommend to stay here.

I had an outstanding stay at the Li River Resort. Staff: The friendly and polite staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. They even took the initiative to contact us about some jewelry we accidentally left behind, ensuring it was safely moved to our new room—truly exceptional service! Food: Meals were served promptly, allowing us to enjoy our time without long waits. Nachos were amazing! View: The view was fantastic—quiet and serene, just as I hoped it would be. This tranquil setting was exactly why I chose this resort. Highly recommend!

While my stay at the Li River Resort was wonderful, there are a few areas that could be improved: Pool Area Cleanliness: I noticed that the pool area could benefit from more attention. There were leftover cigarette butts, food droppings on the floor, and unfortunately, some cat waste near the pool chairs. Additionally, I spotted a few bugs in the pool, which is understandable given the forest setting, but a little more upkeep would enhance the experience. Overall, with some improvements in cleanliness, the resort could be even more inviting.

LOCATION: The resort is perfectly situated in a quiet, private area with stunning views of the mountains and the Li River right beside it. Despite the tranquility, it's conveniently just a $5 Didi ride to downtown Yangshuo, making it easy to explore the local attractions. Additionally, the resort provides a complimentary shuttle to and from downtown at two specific timings, adding to the convenience. ROOM: The rooms at Li River Resort are incredibly spacious and impeccably clean. Each room features a balcony with a breathtaking view of the Li River, providing a serene setting for relaxation. The beds are extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. BREAKFAST: The resort offers an à la carte breakfast with an impressive variety of options, ranging from Western to Asian cuisine. Each morning, I looked forward to starting my day with a delicious and satisfying meal. SERVICE: Most importantly, the service at Li River Resort is superb, truly five-star. The staff, from the receptionist to the restaurant team, are friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Additionally, the staff speaks English, which makes communication easy for international travelers.

The staff went above and beyond to help us. Everyday they greeted us and were absolutely lovely. It is in a very beautiful part outside Yangshuo and away from all the hustle and bustle of the town (town is a tourist destination). The view of the Li river and Karst mountains is soothing and stunning. we had free local organic mandarins and ginger tea laid out.

Note to the owner - replace your mattresses! Everyday I woke up with a bad lower back and my partner said he felt the springs on his side. I'd prefer a buffet for breakfast or different choices- after staying 4 nights I was bored of the choices and wanted to eat greens or eggs for breakfast.

Serene and tucked nicely in a quiet location which you can enjoy endless breathtaking views of the river. We are so grateful to all the staff who had given us impeccable service and always on the look out for our welfare. They are really sincere and honest with their opinions and will give us their recommendations to the things we can do at Yangshuo. My dad was unwell during the stay and they helped prepared home cooked food which gave him appetite despite him being sick. A must stay if you are in Yangshuo. There is a nice trail walk from the hotel to the west street town where you can admire the beautiful scenery and maybe catch some boat men singing by the river too! Tip: Get the hotel to book the transport from the railway station if you are a big group.

This is a hotel in Yangshuo which has the best of everything from hotel staff to their chef and even their in house driver. The hotel staff is one group of helpful ladies which helped me to arrange my whole itinerary in Yangshuo and the places of interest tickets (their tickets are sold to their in house guest at a discount for some places). The housekeeping also did a very good job and the rooms are extremely clean and beautiful. The chef cook the best food and their breakfast has many choices. The chef can cook both Chinese and western food well. When my boy requested for omelet( available for breakfast only) for dinner. The chef also obliged and made a nice omelet Their in house driver (Ah Choi) is a very nice driver. We booked him for 4 days trip in, Guilin and Yangshuo. He brought us to many local places where we did our wellness program (from hair salon, massage and picking the oranges from the trees). He looked through our itinerary and made some adjustments to our itinerary. There was one day we exceeded the agreed time by almost an hour and the driver declined the overtime pay. The driver helped to buy the tickets for our visit. This is the hotel to stay when you come to Yangshuo! All the staffs are so nice and professional. A hotel I will always come back for if we visit Yangshuo again.

I wish I could live here! The property is absolutely beautiful with amazing views to the mountains. The place is very peaceful. About 20 minutes walk to the city. There is a shuttle bus twice a day, but it is also very easy and cheap to get a Didi. Our room was huge, beautiful and comfy. We loved the food and the service at the restaurant too. And the hotel staff is the best!! They were so kind and helpful. On our last day, we had to leave super early and miss breakfast, but the girl at front desk rushed to get us some coffe, sandwiches and bananas to go.

Room was spacious and clean and loved the little touches like the silk robes and cute slippers. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and bottled water provided daily. The balcony was large and had a great view of the mountains. The staff were very helpful in assisting us to book trips - we booked 2 or 3 through them and even with minimal English they sorted it. The pool was a great touch at the end of a busy day. We liked the fact it was a short walk away from Yangshuo itself. Mosquito nets on the balcony doors a bonus. Chinese breakfast was lovely, and well worth the money - but if you don't choose the package with breakfast then you can buy it there - English options available too. We ate here in the evening too and it was delicious ans reasonably priced. I researched a lot on different hotels and am so glad we chose this one and would definitely recommend.

The bar area at the pool did look a little run down but that is the only fault I have. Steep hill leading upto the hotel could be a problem for those with mobility issues? There is step access also through the gardens.
