The view was the most incredible thing. We were kindly upgraded because it was low season and the room was gorgeous. The personal were kind and helpful. Breakfast was included and was nice and plentiful.

The location was on the other side of the river so a bit more difficult to get to the main part, but we found a ferry that went over so it wasn’t so bad. The food in the restaurant was quite expensive so we didn’t want to really eat there that often.

- the view, the view, the view : incredible - the possibility to order good foods and drinks all day (both Chinese and western options) - bedroom was comfortable, clean, with nice terrace (with a good view) - easy to find by typing the name on Didi or google maps; location far from the noise of the city center/west street but easily accessible by didi (10-15min) - reception spoke English and was happy to give advice and help - possible to rent bikes for a day (30 RMB per bike)

generally very happy with our stay and would come again, excellent value for money. A few minor comments : - breakfast could have more options (at least for drinks, for example hot chocolate) - would be great if there was a self service laundry - bikes could be in better condition - could be helpful to put a sign requesting silence in the room floors (a Chinese group of clients yelled every morning at 8:00am in the corridor on their way out, waking everyone up)

Craig the manager was nice and helpful. There was a homely family feeling because of the cheerful staff. Loved his kid playing around with his friend. Gave me an insight into the challenges of a typical Chinese family. The chef treated us to two, glutinous rice dumplings since she had made them for Qingming. Very nice of her. The scenery is unbeatable. It's far from the Madding crowd. The mattresses were super comfy.

My Didi couldn't work (my fault) but Craig more than came to the rescue. Food quality needs to be upped. Needs daily change. Room lighting could be more cheerful.

The views are amazing from this hotel. The pool was very refreshing after a very hot day of sightseeing. The staff (Craig) was very helpful and he spoke very good English which made our stay easier. The bed was comfortable. They gave us an extra key card so that we could keep the aircon on even when we weren't there - it was so nice to come back to a cool room after a day out in the heat. The food was good and it was really nice to eat dinner outside in the evening and look at the view of Yangshuo town.

The bathroom wasn't properly cleaned - the tap on the basin was dirty and there were toothpaste splatters on the tiles by the basin. The windows that look out on the view were dirty and had stains on them.

We spent 5 nights in this fantastic place and enjoyed it a lot! Amazing views from the room, super nice, spacious and modern rooms with all the necessary equipment, very nice English speaking staff who will help you plan your stay in town, good breakfast choices with good coffee, VERY nice swimming pool, not so far from the town center (which is crowded nad busy though so you want to stay at the countryside) . Also they rent bikes and ebikes at very good quality and at good prices.

Best view in whole yangshou. The location makes it quiet and it’s still very close to the city centre. The staff helped us with getting 2 bikes from the hotel for 20 yuan/ person. Quite a good deal for the whole day. We were tired from the bike and couldn’t come back as we wanted to eat and they let us park the bikes in the centre and they got them picked from there. Very convenient and no up charge! If you go in winter you can just ask for more heaters! The air con works as a heater as well. Also as we went in off season they upgraded our room for free!!

The place is located at the end of a dead-end so very quiet, the view is breathtaking, the staff speaks English and is very helpful. It is run by a family and you can feel the nice warm atmosphere. You are at a walking distance from the river and can take a 5 min ferry boat to Yangshuo center. we rented 2 family rooms, as we stayed with our 4 kids and my parents. we all love the place and how nice and helpful the staff was. thank you, we will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

The rooms are very clean and comfortable. A very peaceful area and the Craig was very helpful with excellent English. The taxi to the main shopping area is easy. The pool was smaller than it looked in the photo but nice. Lovely garden area, easy for kids to explore and be safe. There was an Asian or western breakfast choice which varied between a buffet or served breakfast. There was also a variety of options available throughout the day from the menu from sandwiches to main meals. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We were initially surprised that it was not too close to the city, but we actually loved the location and felt immersed in nature with this spectacular view of the mountains. Being in the city would not have been the same. I am still dreaming about the view and the nearby village! The staff was so helpful and welcoming! Our host was fluent in English which made our trip arrangement easier. The food was really nice for the price! We will definitely be back!

Nothing, it was perfect!

The staff were fantastic and couldn’t have made us feel more welcome. We ate at the hotel two evening’s during our stay and the food was very good quality and fresh, vegetables from the garden! The staff even shared their own meal with us one night! The room was large, comfortable and the view was to die for! They have a small swimming pool that was spotless and it would be amazing to use in summer. Our stay was so peaceful and we could watch the Li River cruise boats sailing nearby too. There was always lots of hot water for a long shower after a cold day exploring. The beds were comfortable and clean.

There was nothing to dislike about the property but I have a few suggestions. It would be great if the rooms had a small fridge. Also, we didn’t realize that there would be no shower gel or shampoo so we had to buy some the next day. I would also recommend changing the shower curtains to shower doors as I feel these would be more hygienic.
