Beautiful hotel in the north of Cali. The staff was super kind all the time. Great restaurant. Full breakfast buffet. Rooms were small but cozy.

The location is not great. The street where the hotel is located is horrible with homeless people sleeping in the street. Did not feel safe at all. Some rooms do not have windows to the outside so might be dark inside.

The staff were amazing. Alexander checked us in, gave us the special rate of COP 270,400 and took all of our heavy luggage to our penthouse room 708 with a balcony which has a panorama view of downtown Cali. The bed was the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and my wife commented on the quality shampoo and conditioner. The breakfasts were amazing cooked to order omelettes perfectly done and a dazzling array of other condiments hot and cold. Mauricio, the hotel manager, offered us maps of downtown Cali with the walking tours, cultural points of interest and tourist highlights- all with 10 minutes walk. You are in the epicentre of the city- better location than the Intercontinental hotel. The Faranda is only 5 years old and has a Turkish bath and two jacuzzi’s on the rooftop with city panorama views. Juan, the day reception gave us welcome drink vouchers. The area is protected by teams of private security paid for by the Alcalderia/Mayor of Cali so everyone is more than safe. Heat value, top location ( only 4 blocks from Calle de Sabor from where the live street salsa happens). We return to the hotel 5-7 July.The architecture of the hotel is indoor/ outdoor- not the traditional hallways. Simply amazing stay for $69US a night in this 50 room hotel.

Arrived late into Cali so wanted a 24hour check in. Good location near El Penon. Breakfast was amazing.

Room changed from one I'd booked to one without a window, I don't.like not having natural light in the morning.

Location was perfect and my balcony with a view of the river was fantastic at night. My room was amazing and absolutely comfortable. Omg the bed was just as comfortable as my own bed at home which I’m very picky about. One night I forgot my key and didn’t know until I got all the way to my room and a wonderful staff went all the way downstairs and told me to wait and he went to go retrieve my key for me so I wouldn’t have to do and I could just wait on my floor. Front desk staff was so nice and always helpful.

Disappointed in the lack of food available for breakfast but I guess overall was decent. The jacuzzi is pretty weird. I didn’t go in it because it look like a big weird see through pot of water awkwardly enough that didn’t even look like a jacuzzi but a decoration. And there’s no massage even though prior to arrival when I reached out to the property I was informed they do have massage. I always need a spa and massage to relax when I go on vacation.

This was my second visit to this hotel and it was even better than the first. The King suite was very spacious with 2 bathrooms, nice balcony and large comfortable bed. It is a relaxed and pleasant hotel, wonderfully situated right on the Boulevard del Rio Cali with its lively atmosphere and numerous food and drink outlets. There is a lovely roof terrace bar with music for drinks in the evening.

Hotel's restaurant was pretty decent with good food comparing the restaurants around the hotel, room small with No window but it was clean and quiet which is the most important for me.

There was no hot water in the morning, which was annoying, and litterly, nobody spoke English, even front desk receptionist, but then it's colombia..

Very friendly and helpful staff who made me feel very welcome during my stay. The location is fantastic and is within walking distance to most attractions in Cali. The River Boulevard is very lively and safe at night, with lots of people walking around. The rooftop jacuzzi was a great way to escape the heat in Cali. Free coffee all day. Great value.

The on-site restaurant could add a few more menu options.

The location is in Centro and is central to everything. Taking a stroll or run along the river is very convenient. The breakfast is the best. The wi-if is reliable and fast. The terrace is also very good for social enjoyment on the weekends.

The treadmill in the fitness center wasn’t working properly and the dinner options were limited. However, the dinner options I tried were all very tasty but small portions.

Excellent service. Hotel has a good location, near banks, restaurants and cafes. Beds very confortable , hotel very clean. Remodeled and very modern. Rooms comfortable and clean. Family oriented hotel.

One of the staff members in the restaurant, breakfast time, gave me hard time to take my husband's breakfast to the room, even though I informed he had a recent surgery. Thank God, one of the ladies who work in the restaurant helped me very nicely. Breakfast is not great because the hotel has a standard daily menu and is not flexible.

Outstanding quality. I didn't expect so much before I checked in here, but when I entered to my room, it was so great. Suitable size for solo traveler, comfortable bed and nice balcony view as well. Room is located beside of Boulevard, and I was stayed in the period of the Festival of Lights, so until 10~11pm it was quite noisy but bearable. When all crowds were gone, I could enjoy tranquility of night street and night view of mountain. Wifi was very stable, temperature was good. Bathroom was also good, basic amenity is equipped, but there was no hairdryer (You can ask to rent it from reception desk). Well.. I don't have any complaints for this hotel and room. I enjoyed enough.
