We had the two-bed apartment - it was huge! Beds were really comfortable and there were extra beds on a mezzanine level which our kids loved. The staff are very friendly, very helpful and kind. It was all clean, our place was always made up every day. Nice bright area. Very easy to travel to central area or Zona Rosa. There are frequent buses along the main road and plenty of taxis.

The breakfast was good, however, not lot of variety. The shower in the room was outstanding. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel and room was very clean and the bed very comfortable.

The room and hotel were chilly. I don't think there is heat. The Wi-Fi in the room did not work. They tried to fix the connection but it only worked for a few minutes.

Good breakfast. Quiet room. Off the main traffic roads in town.

No restroom near reception. Sidewalks in the neighborhood are terrible for a morning walk

Everything bar none … looked after so well , wonderful breakfast , good room with hot water, very clean and well looked after and decorated . Reasonable for what it is .

Really lovely staff, helpful and always available. Very comfortable room, pretty quiet, bit of traffic noise but nothing too bad. Good breakfast. Location is away from main town, but a few restaurants, cafes and bars within walking distance. Would stay there again.

All was fine, nothing we didnt like

The bed was very comfortable, the room had a nice view, and the shower had excellent water pressure.

There was no air conditioning (there was one fan in the room). There was visible mold on the ceiling of the shower.

The hotel is comfortable and has all you need, excellent bed, bathroom, shower, great pressure in water, space, TV, etc

We are assigned a room in the high traffic road side and it was noisy.

Service was excelent+++ so friendly and eager to help. Set us up with a wonderful driver(miguel) to drive us to Medellin. Great hot breakfast. If l had any complaint is that the beds are not the most comfy. But they are still above average comfy for latin america. I will be back next visit!

I was pleasantly surprised with the Casa Galvez. The room was enormous, with a seating area as well as a small dining table and the bedroom separate from the rest of the suite. The breakfast was an excellent buffet and the staff were helpful, despite my terrible Spanish.

Not a complaint but something to keep in mind: Manizales is somewhat oddly laid out, with its more interesting areas at either end of its main thoroughfare. The Casa Galvez sits almost halfway between these two areas, which is fairly convenient, but there isn't anything of major interest in the hotel's immediate surroundings. Still, as mentioned, this isn't necessarily a bad thing and was no problem for me, just know that visiting Chipre or El Cable will require a walk or bus ride.
