All staff were very kind, from the security guard to the cleaning staff and kitchen as well as reception. Everyone made us feel welcome here. It's got free parking inside and outside the building, location is perfect if you don't want to be too far from Poblado and other touristic spots and pay less for your accommodation. Very tasty breakfast included delivered to your apartment and everyday you have a little extra addition that changes daily. Super yummy. Shopping centre across the road with a gym where you can pay 38 thousand pesos for the day (free during bank holidays). Would definitely book again next time I'm in Medellín.

Water pressure in the shower is not great, but it is an older building, didn't bother us too much. Would also be nice to have aircon in the living room, not only in the bedroom.

The staff are all very helpful and friendly. The apartment was spacious, ideal for a longer stay. It was well located for us, near to family and across the road from the Arcadia shopping mall. It was useful to have a kitchen and utility area. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. A hearty breakfast was included, with a delicious selection of fresh fruit.

The main drawback is noise from the busy road junction just outside. Some room are better than others (we switched apartments mid-stay) but none avoid it completely. The only other issue was that the hot water supply was unreliable.

Very good location just across Arcadia mall, at groundlevel of the hotel there are a pizzeria, ice cream parlor and simple cafe, 3 blocks down there is another food strip and it’s 10 minutes away from downtown or other activities. Rooms are automatically cleaned every day and breakfast is served at your room and you can book your tours via the hotel. But most of all, the staff Tatiana, Valentina and David are so friendly and helpful. Always there when you need them, have questions are for calling a taxi. After 2 weeks they felt like family🥰

It is a bit outdated, but shouldn’t be a big problem. Some might miss a swimming pool but there are lots of things to do around. Breakfast could have a bigger selection because after 2 weeks you don’t want to see eggs anymore, but still it’s not bad at all for the items you are getting. Overall you can’t really say anything bad about Portal.

GREAT BREAFAST! I love starting my day not having to wander around looking for a place to have coffee and breakfast. The hotel is conviently located across from The very extensive Arkadia Commerce Mall. The Hotel property is situated on basically a "traffic Island" with HEAVY traffic on all sides and all the associated noises. We still enjoyed our stay as the staff were very acommodating and friendly and the overall stay was a great value for the money. We were able to sleep comfortably since the traffic noise drops dramatically as the evening wears on. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The noise of the traffic at times is a little bit much but nothing too overwhelming. Keep in mind that staying in a city of 2.5 million people you have to expect traffic - it is as simple as that. I would certainly return.

We stayed here for two weeks while visiting family and it was a great base. The staff were super friendly despite us not knowing much Spanish (thanks especially David and Jaison). They were really helpful in organising taxis for us to and from the airport, and sorting issues out.

We knew to expect this, but the noise from the road outside is quite loud. But we got used to it and it didn't sotp us sleeping.

Was in a great location for a one night stay, with the goal of heading to the airport the next day. It was about a 15 minute uber drive to arrive to the airport from the hotel. We appreciated the included breakfast to go--that was something we haven't seen anywhere else. We also appreciated the crib they provided for our baby.

Although it has a kitchen, it doesn't have many utensils for cooking or cleaning. They don't provide soap or a sponge. Be prepared to bring your own.

Always my choice when traveling to Medellin, great location, near Poblado, safe area. New Smart TV! Breakfast, the ladies in the kitchen always are helpful and kind.

Great value! We has apartment 803 (one bedroom with a queen sized bed and two bathrooms) I definitely recommend getting something on the highest floor possible as that will give you the best view and the least traffic noise. The 8th floor is the top floor which means it also has very high ceilings. The traffic noise is really not bad at all - just a bit of white noise. The property is located in the Belen neighborhood, an upscale residential neighborhood. Very convenient and safe to walk in. El Poblado is a $2 uber away. Our apartment had a beautiful view of the city, the daily room service breakfast was excellent. The housekeeping and desk service was top notch. The mall across the street and surrounding neighborhood has everything you need.

Sometimes the breakfast takes quite a while to be delivered so order early!
