The rooftop restaurant is to die for! Modern hotel. Comfortable room size and safe.

The location is a bit odd. Working class neighborhood and if you are a walker you have to inquire about the routs to take. Google maps chooses only the quickest routes … not the safest. Some working class restaurants in the area.

I liked the room, the service, and the location, which was close to many things. The breakfast was good, but I would suggest offering a mix of cultural and American breakfast options. It would also be nice to have the opportunity to have lunch and dinner at the hotel, I believe you can do it. The staff were very friendly. For me, it was a good choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel

The only issue was that on the third day, some locals came and made a lot of noise, so you might want to check on that. That was the only downside.

I had a wonderful stay. The hotel is right next to El Poblado, a 10-minute taxi ride away. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I received a warm welcome. The rooftop terrace is lovely, and the breakfast included soup, fruit, bread, orange juice, and always a perfectly made omelet or scrambled eggs. Downstairs next to the hotel is a supermarket and a small electronics store. I felt very comfortable and warmly welcomed throughout my seven days; I'll definitely be back.

I like the fact that the hotel is very cozy and inviting. The lobby is very nice to sit down and relax and have a coffee or tea. The staff were attentive, accommodating, and kind. Marian and Paula were exceptional, and the rest of the staff made us feel at home, always eager to help. The bed was excellent, comfortable, and fluffy. I could not help but fall asleep each time I decided to watch TV. I had the best rest in a long time.

What can be improved is the hot water issue that I have read in other reviews. The water is not all that hot. This lack of hot water has room for improvement. Should this be fixed, it would be excellent for the 4 Sur Hotel.

This hotel in a "real" neighbourhood in Medellin, was comfortable, clean and friendly. The bed and sheets were top quality. The room was small, but had room to store our clothes and suitcases. The staff were excellent, and like so many others we have met in Colombia, very friendly. The neighbourhood is full of families going about their lives, with great fruit stands and grocery stores nearby. We walked everywhere, even back to Poblado to sample a restaurant we had missed the previous visit. An interesting neighbourhood.

It was a bit noisy in the street late into Saturday evening, as families and friends enjoyed their evening together. The noise quietened down by midnight, however.

The service was amazing from the moment we arrived. The room was very clean and neat. There where already 2 bottles of water provided. The breakfast was small but more then enough to start the day. The service was excellent. Even though they did not speak English very well. They made sure we could communicate. Arranging a taxi whenever we needed it. The location was amazing. Close to the metro station and only a few minutes by taxi away from the populair district El Poblado.

To bad the bar was not open at nights. But with a mini supermarket on the first floor this was not a massive deal.

The attention to detail in room amenities and decor spoke volumes about the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The location of 4 Sur Hotel was also a major plus. Situated in a convenient yet peaceful area, it offered the perfect balance between accessibility to local attractions and a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle. As someone who has had the opportunity to travel extensively, I can confidently say that 4 Sur Hotel stands out not only for its amenities but for the genuine care and connection they establish with their guests.

Excellent service! The staff is amazing, Mariana at the front desk was always with a positive attitude and willing to help at any hour. Not only Mariana but everyone from the people serving breakfast to the housekeepers. Hotel is brand new and it is beautiful, security always at the entrance. The location is safe and 10min away from the main parks and high end area. Breakfast was very good and the bar area has an amazing view of the city. Thank You for everything!

We loved everything

Staff really are exceptional here, can’t do enough for you. All the usual you would expect on check in, restaurant etc. But above and beyond that - for example they stored our luggage for us whilst we went to the coffee triangle, and then as we were unwell upon our return they arranged for a taxi to drop it to the airport for us also so we could get to a connecting flight. We also had some clothes we wanted to donate, which they were more than happy to do for us. Room was really nice, exactly as in photos. Clean. Large, comfortable bed. Location good for what we wanted (near the bus station - 15 min walk).

The breakfast wasn’t great, in particular for my husband who cannot eat gluten. They do have the option to make you fresh eggs which is good. But limited fruit selection, stuff looked like it had been left out a while.

The service was great, and how friendly the people are, is amazing! We were 3 so we really enjoyed the breakfast and how tasty it was. Colombia is a great place and the location is key, we as tourist we were near everything and there was a pretty good relationship quality - price

Probably, the refill of the water they did not refill the bottle of water. This was requested and they told us they only give one bottle as a courtesy and that´s it.
