A really lovely little hotel. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. The hotel area is beautiful and the pool is clean. The location is quiet but a short walk from the main street (both the center and the beach). We loved Palomino and this hotel!

The bed in our room was bad. We stayed here for almost a whole week and slept a little badly because of the bed. The cleaning of the room could also be done a little better, because the bathroom looked like it hadn't been washed properly for a while (the shower head was moldy). This was a small thing for us and did not disturb our stay, but the hotel could fix this with a little effort.

Clean private rooms, with aircon and mosquito nets. Each room has a small outdoor area/bench so we could dry our stuff in the sun. It’s located off the Main Street, but that means it’s quiet and peaceful. It is located on a road that is very dark at night but we felt safe walking along it with a flashlight. Breakfast changed everyday, which was a nice treat! The staff were all super helpful and friendly - helped organised tubing tours for us.

Something to keep in mind about Palomino is that it often experiences electricity blackouts. We had 2 blackouts at night in the span of 3 days (various times between 6-11pm). Palomino Sunrise does have a generator but only for lights, so unfortunately the air-con in the room won’t work until the electricity comes back on (and it was very hard to keep cool as it’s so hot even in the evening).

Really enjoyed this place. It’s location was perfect for me. It’s not on the main stretch so peaceful but also only a 5 minute walk from most restaurants, bars and the beach. I extended my stay here and managed to stay in three different rooms. All were clean and comfortable. The pool area is a dream and the sweet were really sweet.

The only thing I would add is that there is no food available in the day and the dinner options are limited but I guess you have plenty of options nearby so it wasn’t a deal breaker for me.

The pool was nice, the cocktails were tasty and the rooms clean. The air con was very effective, and they had blankets available (if you ask) if you’re one of those people who needs more than a sheet to sleep. Staff were kind and breakfast was great- one of our fav of our three week trip. It was super quiet so we slept quite well.

We were told the kitchen was open 12-8 daily, but both days we were there it was closed. We were told it was the cooks day off the first day but then it never opened the second day. It’s a titch far from the main hustle and bustle but definitely walking distance.

The pool was nice and good breakfast

The beds are small, also there was a problem with the price on booking.com and when I got there the lady tried to charge me 10x the amount on booking and I had to argue the price to the original one I booked which was very unprofessional. It wasn’t my fault they made a mistake on the booking. Then my friend booked the same bed for the same price and no one questioned it, I felt a bit attacked

We liked that the location was a bit far from the Main Street and therefore a bit quieter. The pool was nice and the breakfast was decent. The staff were all really lovely. We also liked having a fridge in our room to keep water cold etc.

The room and bathroom were very dark even with lights on and curtains open. The water often came out of the tap brown (but this might be a problem in all of Palomino and not just the hotel). We didn’t get fresh towels each day and our towels were filthy because the town is full of dust. Also the streets around the hostel aren’t well lit at night although it seemed safe enough.

Nice place with a good pool and air conditioning

The breakfast is so so, a little bit far from the center and the sea. And also not so social

The pool is very nice and the beds come with a mosquito net which is essential. The location is close enough to the beach and main area while also being secluded and quiet, this can be either a good or bad thing depending on what you are looking for. This was perfect for us. The air conditioning works well.

We were in the private room, the bed is quite creaky and the space is quite small but you get accustomed to it. The breakfast is quite repetitive, not much variety.

This is a lovely place not too far from the main road where you can relax in many different ways! Clean, well kept and with everything you need. We had an excellent stay in one of the ‘stone houses’, but next time we would book a wooden house because they had a little front deck with chairs. We had a few power cuts from 10-5 during the day, allegedly due to maintenance.

The accommodation is very nice. There is a great pool and several spots to relax. The dorm consists of four beds and is spacious enough to provide plenty of space. In addition to the lockers, there is also a shelf where you can place your belongings. You get a towel for free. The women who work there are very friendly, especially Violeta, the volunteer, she was always a great help to me.
