Everything: the location: central but quiet! The food: best food we had in Salento and best breakfast we had in Colombia The facilities: everything is new, and very clean. The hotel looks more outdoorsy and actually more charming than in the pictures, yet the rooms are modern and comfortable. There is a sauna and hot tubs that can booked on demand, also massage services. The staff: best of the best. We have been treated so nicely (and the rest of the guests too) and pampered all along the way. I am sure there are a lot of charming and excellent hotels in Salento, but I have tried this one and I would only repeat. I recommend it to anyone traveling to el Eje Cafetero, it’s an absolute gem with a great value for money!

This place was the highlight of our trip to Salento with our two little kids. After a tiring day of hiking, one can use outdoor private hot jacuzzi- So relaxing, the views from our room were amazing. The breakfast included, delicious fruits (mango or pineapple), orange juice, french toast, areppa eggs etc. Special mention to Luis who helped us plan our days and shared so much information about the place and colombia. I would def recommend this place to anyone who is looking to add luxury to their trip without breaking bank. The center is just 2 blocks from this place. the hotel is very close to two very amazing restaurants- Bhumi (fusion food) and Acaime.

the floors in the other building are very creaky even with light walking, When you have kids- they are bound to creak even more. We were worried about the people staying downstairs.

The hotel is very beautiful and well-kept. It has 2 spa baths which looked amazing, but we did not try them as we were short on time. All the staff was very friendly and helpful, we arranged airport pick up and some tours through them and they work with a great driver, so we got to visit everything we wanted easily. It's not in the center of the village, but you can reach it in a very short walk, so that is not a problem, but rather good as the hotel grounds are quiet and you can properly rest after a day of hiking. Breakfast is amazing!

This was honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! The property itself is so, so beautiful-pictures truly don't do it justice. It is such an extremely relaxing place to stay and take in the the beauty of the nature that surrounds you. Not only was the property beautiful but the staff was absolutely wonderful! Everyone working there is so kind, thoughtful and professional. They helped organize transport and a coffee region tour for us, all of which was great. They are also very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast that is included in your stay is also fantastic!! Such delicious food to start your day. Truly a place that feels like a vacation just in itself. We really did not want to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. Definitely don't miss this place if you are traveling to Salento!!

nothing- it was perfect

The hotel is great. Staff is amazing, so kind and helpful, without any "selling" interests. The hotel is located 10 mins walking from the main square, in a safe and calm area. Breakfast "a la carte" is great, very complete and tasty. The bedroom was huge, with a balcony. There are outdoor jacuzzis that you can use for free and they are very nice. The place is beautiful - green, tropical, very well decorated. We loved it, it's an amazing value for money.

The only thing we didn't like was that, being the "huts" made of wood, you could hear/feel the vibration of the people upstairs walking around the bedroom, very very loud...

The hotel, it’s location, and the standard and facilities included are fantastic and all you could want for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the beautiful Salento. But the best part of Hotel Terasu are the amazing people that work there, they will go out of their way to help facilitate anything you need, always with a smile on their face and clearly enjoying their job. The two ladies on reception are just the best, they helped give information about excursions, and booking them, and they even helped us with getting some clothes washed and returned in under 24 hours. The hotel is situated a good 5 minute walk from the centre of Salento and is a great relaxing sanctuary from a busy day of hiking, coffee farm visits, horse riding or anything else you get up to in the stunning Salento. The grounds of the hotel are beautifully kept and are far enough outside of town so that you can’t hear any of the music or people late at night. The rooms are immaculate, the bed super comfy, the showers perfect. We even had a balcony with a hammock and the amazing views of the surrounding scenery, it’s easily been the best place we have stayed on our trip of Latin America so far. The breakfasts included are filing and tasty, a great start to the day - especially for a big hike in the Cocura Valley.

That we couldn’t stay longer than our 3 nights.

We loved everything about this place! The hotel itself is gorgeous and well kept. The girls at reception speak very good English and helped us with restaurant recommendations and organising a horse riding tour. The breakfast was great and we thought the hot tubs were awesome. We had a massage which was super relaxing. The location is also very good - about a 10 minute walk to the main plaza so it is in a peaceful area.

The room was very comfortable with everything we needed. The hotel itself is in a great location, a very short walk from the centre of Salento. The team at Terasu were really welcoming and helpful and helped us organise some great experiences whilst we were there including: hiking the cocora valley, horse riding and a coffee finca tour

Spacious room and large very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with fresh fruit every day and hot food is cooked to order.

No shelving or wardrobe facilities provided despite it being a large room. There was ample space to accomodation this. Room 3 is close to the road and some noise evident during the day but not a problem overnight.

exceeded our expectations. Beautiful surroundings, the rooms were big, the bed was very comfy, the staff were really helpful and friendly, the hot tub was a great addition and breakfast was delicious. The location is great and close to the centre (not even a 5 minute walk). Cannot fault our stay.
