The breakfast was just ok -- the food was very "clean" but it was a bit too out of the ordinary for me... I like a traditional English Breakfast and that wasn't available.

Breakfast should offer fresh fruit and yogurt. I thought the SPA prices were just a bit high.

We loved everything about this place! The hotel itself is set in the most beautiful location with incredible views as well as a beach bar. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend staying here for an incredible experience.

Very remote location, not easy to access. Large property that is not maintained everywhere (e.g. lower garden area walkway is full of rotten fruits from the trees around because not many people walk to the beach). It seems that there is a problem with the rooms on booking.com and the hotel’s system. We booked a room with double bed but got a room with two single beds. The staff was very reluctant to change the room and told us that it was not their problem. In the end they changed the room to one very nice one with a double bed. Overall the staff is not very attentive and the service is slow. Many times someone forgot something we ordered (e.g. fruit juices for breakfast). Pricing for breakfast is also a bit weird (e.g main plates are around 10$ and cappuccino is around 5$). From our point of view the hotel does not offer the same welcoming spirit we have experienced everywhere else in Costa Rica, which is very sad for this hotel category.

- Reception/office staff seemed to be not very much interested in serving customers. - Despite mentioning honey moon packages on the webpage we did not experience anything like honey moon (i.e. surprise at the room with flowers and champagne, additional services) - limited dinner offering for vegetarians and every evening the same menu options
