We booked the last room and unfortunately the one that faced the main street of Samara. Not the hotels fault. The room was ok. We did not have the breakfast at the hotel. Very nice bakery across the road, if you had enough beans and rice.. The pool and the back garden was very nice.

The lady at the checkin was confusing and took forever to check us in. It was ok, but she was not kind nor welcoming. My husband was annoyed as they told him the room number and to take the bags up, while I completed papers, but didn't give him a key. When he returned to the room upstairs with the second round of bags, the room was locked and the receptionist confused about whose bags were in the room... The beds are not very comfortable and the street facing rooms are very noisy.

Excellent staff from welcome to arranging bus transport back to airport. Special thanks to Laura and Karina in reception who were so helpful. Breakfast was great and serving staff also lovely. Pool was nice for a cool down and loungers always available. Pool towels free 1st day and $1 per day to change if wanted. Hotel is in town with beach, shops, bars and restaurants close by. Great location, though nothing is far in Samara. Only downside was an unpleasant smell by the rear boundary by the sun loungers. Otherwise a fabulous stay.

EXCELLENT hotel. One of the best I stayed in my visit to CR. Fabulous location. The staff is lovely and so helpful. The rooms are beautiful! I had a pretty balcony overlooking the pool. Beds comfortable. A/C worked great. Very quiet at night. Small fridge in room. Lots of natural light. Nice shower with good water pressure. Free & easy parking. 2 minutes walk to a gorgeous beach. Stay here. You won't regret it.

Great location, two inviting pools, very helpful staff. Our room had a patio facing the pool/courtyard. A nice feature is the sliding glass door out to the patio has a reflective surface, so the room interior isn’t visible from the courtyard. It also reflects heat.

It was under some renovation during our stay but looks like it will be even more appealing in the future. Chairs on the patio were not so comfy could be updated.

Hotel is in a great location. Bed was huge and comfy but felt too big for the room making it feel smaller and cramped than it was. Pool was clean and a good sun spot. Parking is across the street but not secure.

I was freezing with the AC at night (husband needed it on as 30 degrees outside) as only a sheet provided until prompted.

Location is close to the beach, and across the street from an excellent bakery. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Breakfast is fine. Close to all the tour providers, restaurants and shops. Grounds are well tended and beautiful. Rooms are very clean, comfortable and have everything you need.

Location is situation on a very busy street that can be loud. Staff worked however to move us to a room in the back of the hotel which was much better.

Staff. Excellent. Polite. Helpful. Bilingual.

Wi-Fi is an issue. Couldn’t get strong enough signal. May need a couple boosters. Perhaps rethink pool policy. Since unguarded anyway and bus from San Jose arrives at 7:30pm. It would be better for pool to stay open until at least 10:00 pm to enable travelers from San Jose to relax and enjoy pool for a bit more. 😎

The staff is very friendly and caring . Room is clean and has a nice terrace. Theres 2 pools that work until late and heated. They are big enough for everyone getting a place for them selves. The breakfast is nice and the waiters are polite. They have a private parking of the hotel so you dont need to bother about that. The location is in the center, close to the beaches,atm and all.

No elevator to the second floor so be prepared if you're with luggage.

This is a very good hotel, waking up to the sounds of birds was amazing. The staff was super helpful from assistance with parking and anything needed. Breakfast was okay. I loved our room, the art around the room and the hotel is just beautiful!!

A bit of noise from being so close to the main road.

Great location in the heart of Samara. Close to the beach and in the Middle of everything. Staff extremely helpful and easy parking. Pool area and pool was great, and they had easy access into and out of the pool - a great help to an elderly person. Room was bright and clean and had a small refrigerator which was a bonus. Nice balcony and the large expanse of bougainvillea added to the sense of being in the tropics. Breakfast was very satisfying. An unexpected bonus was the addition of a baking facility just off the dining room. Some of the finest breads we have ever tasted. I hope they stay there for future visits.

The plus is that it is the middle of Samara. The minus is that it is in the middle of Samara. Even though Samara is laid back compared to some of the other resort towns, it can get a little noisy at night. Also, it is on the main road so expect some road noise, especially in the AM.
