We shared a 5 bed room with private bathroom as a family of 4. We liked having our own facilities, aircon, a fridge in our room and access to a shared kitchen so we could prepare some meals. Loved the daily yoga programme and we did several classes. Breakfast on the day we ate there was delicious. Location was good at the North end of Santa Teresa.

Lots of mossies in the grounds but escapable in the room and fairly typical for the area/season. Hot water variable (but warm anyway so not really an issue) Howler monkeys competing with ATVs/mopeds can be noisy in the mornings but that is nature for you!

The place is beautiful, very clean and well-maintained. The room is modern, big, super clean, nice comfortable bed. Big and well-equipped kitchen, lovely pool area, and good location. The staff is super friendly and really helpful. It is not cheap for a solo traveller but it is still worth the stay.

The common eating area is a bit small. Most of the rooms surround a yoga deck. Since they offer yoga classes almost non-stop from 8 am, it is sometimes a bit inconvenient to constantly be quiet or careful about noises when entering or leaving the room. But apart from that, a perfect place for a nice friendly calm stay. A small detail is that my room didn't have any towel hanger, I only mention this because it could be easily fixed :)

Location is on the road parallel to the beach, so you’re super close to the Santa Teresa beach and to many cafes and restaurants. Our private room was a good size with AC and was very comfortable. We had a shared bathroom but I think that it was only shared with one other room. The pool is super nice and although we did not try the yoga, it looked very nice as well. There is parking.

I felt like the shared kitchen and shared bathroom could have been a little cleaner.

Second time staying here and it’s amazing as ever. Very cool chill surfer/yoga vibe. Nice yoga studio with classes all day. The kitchen is great, but there’s also nearby restaurants on the beach across the street is amazing.

It’s really nice having howler monkeys on the property but Danm is it annoying at 4 AM lol We had the big room with the loft and unfortunately the AC is a bit old so it didn’t quite keep up with the size of the room.

We were very impressed by our stay at Believe. We had one of the private rooms by the pool and found it perfect for our stay. The pool area was delightful and stayed cool throughout the heat of the day. We are keen yogis (being the main reason for our trip) and found the yoga at Believe to be some of the best we have come across so far in Costa Rica. There is an extensive timetable of classes running through out the day - with some great teachers. Delightful place and we met some fun friends during our stay.

We found that the male desk staff could have been more enthusiastic and friendlier - they had a rather downbeat vibe which was a shame as the space was delightful and everything else worked so well. Also the communal kitchen was rather messy which was a shame as made cooking in less enjoyable then it needed to be - mould was growing in one of the coffee dispensers.

Only negative comment would be when I was trying to buy drinks from reception around 4pm I was told I couldn’t as they weren’t serving drinks (can of coke) which I found odd as the drink were at the reception! So had to leave the pool to go to the supermarket which to be fair wasn’t far.

The first night we stayed in the regular rooms and they were beautiful, clean and perfect The yoga classes were great Coffee is amazing Shared kitchen fully equipped

After 8 PM, no staff available If you’re staying by room, that’s close to the yoga classes. It gets pretty noisy early in the morning. The rooms with the shared bathrooms were not clean and unpleasant to stay

Amazing schedule of different yoga classes. Healthy and good food on the menu. Staff was amazing, special thanks to Gigi, Tati, Lisa and Julia!! Also to the lady taking orders and serving coffee, breakfast and dinner. She was so kind!! Lounge areas and pool are nice too!

Cleaning on some washrooms is fine but can be better.

The additional activities were fairly priced which is really saying something for this area. The yoga classes were phenomenal and the vibes off all guests and staff were extremely relaxed.

One night a bunch of little crabs snuck into my room, this isn't the hotels fault as everyone I knew at other hotels had the same issue but it definitely affected my sleep on that one night.

The entire concept and the level of comfort are very nice. There is a great vibe in the hostel and the yoga deck is wonderful

When I was there, business operations could have run more smoothly. For instance with booking the shuttle form the airport to the hotel or the dorms were overbooked. But they have been working on improving it
