The Place is nice, and very close to a good restaurant, a supermarket and to the beach You can eat outside close to the pool The location is fairly quite and the atmosphere is enjoyable

The quality of the material used to build the infrastructure is quite poor. The bathroom is moldy, the material used is not ideal for humid places. Part of the kitchen is also moldy and the utensils were not properly cleaned. It’s a pity because in general the infrastructure could be very nice if it was better maintained

Beautiful garden setting with the perfect size villa. We booked for a family of four and we had an extra twin bed in one of the rooms when we showed up! So nice to have our boys (11-13) in their own beds. Pool was perfect and that hammock was well used. Full kitchen WITH all the appropriate cooking dishes was a big plus. And they provided a big jug of filtered water to drink from! So nice to have. Finally… 5 minute jungle walk under howler monkeys and parrots to get to the prettiest beach on the peninsula? Okay, sure…

Shared pool is a little different but we had a very kind/quiet family across from us and so it worked just fine. And for you that can’t handle the road in? Just go slow: it’s FINE. You don’t need 4x4 or some lifted truck to get there. We had a tiny rental and it CRUSHED it. There are waaaaay worse roads in the world…

Very Eco style Villas, we really liked the entourage and design, very confortable beds, all the necessaries in the kitchen area, a lot of wood details and great zen vibe.

The main road is pretty bad, you have to share your space with ppl across from your Villa and around, if other Villas are too active outside and you need quiet, then this might become a problem, we where lucky that way and highly still recommend this property even though it's a bit far from the main strip in Santa Teresa

A very dreamy place, the casa is gorgeous with comfy beds, you share a nice swimming pool with the villa in front of yours. Less than 10 minutes walk to Hermosa beach. There is also a small shop not far away.

Pretty far from Santa Teresa center. Not the hotel's fault but the roads to get to this place are an absolute nightmare and everywhere in Santa Teresa (to really consider when you want to explore this part of Costa Rica).

We stayed at the casa Argan. Beautiful private home. It was walking distance to playa hermosa.

Playa hermosa is experiencing a lot of development and there was loud construction going on from 630 am until sunset. This created a loud environment not amenable to spending a lot of time at the casa during the day.

The property was a self contained little yet spacious villa with a lovely small pool, hammock, chill area.

The lock to our villa was broken. However, it is safe and it did not cause an issue. There is security on premises.

The Villa Argan is the best in this super small village. The Villa is Fully equipped with private pool inclusive . Just few minutes from the beautiful beach (around 50 mt) . A paradise gateway as they define themselves. Few km from Santa Teresa where you can find a lot of restaurants and bar.

Nacho, our fabulous host/concierge/property manager was so helpful and responsive to all of our needs. Truly felt like coming home each day. Such a quaint little property, just a short walk to one of the best beaches in the world, and a beautiful 10 minute ATV ride to Santa Teresa.

Our only real complaint was that the air conditioning unit was in the downstairs bedroom so the loft stayed warm the whole time, although the fans were very helpful. Even when we broke the rules (🙊)and kept the AC on when we left the room, the upstairs never really cooled off. Bearable, just not ideal.

Location was perfect. Easy walk to the beach.

We were there during a heatwave, so the loft without AC was a wee bit hot.

Very pretty surroundings. The staff was helpful and friendly. The beach was 5 minutes away. I liked my air conditioned bedroom.
