Great place to stay and visit Dubrovnik and surrounding areas. Beaches nearby and in walking distance. Apartment clean and complete with everything. Fantastic view. Hosts very helpful and provided all types of information for our stay.

Very warm welcome from Anna, who waited up late for us since our flight was delayed. Morning chat with Nicolas who explained what we could do, local buses boats etc. Good air-conditioning, amazing view. Perfectly maintained pool that was never over crowded.

Communication from "direct booker" (the company Anna and Nicolas use to manage the bookings) could have been better. Sometimes days passed without any response to important emails in the days leading up to our stay. Th steep climb up from the beach was hard work in the extreme heat of July 2023, but this is not a criticism, only to let others know that there a a good 15 minute walk back from the lovely seashore and beach café.

We had a superb stay at Villa Samba, 4 nights in what can only be described as exceptional accommodation. From the moment we arrived Niko was on hand to greet us and make us feel at home. He welcomed us with drinks and an introductory chat about local excursions, transport, and restaurants. He was also able to answer any questions we had with great local knowledge of the area and personal recommendations. Despite arriving early in the morning, we were able to check in before 2pm. In 34 degree heat, the room was fully air conditioned which hit the spot perfectly. The pool was also excellent, open between 8am and 8pm each day, clean and very private compared to other resort-style pools. During our trip, my partner left his phone in a water taxi to Cavtat. Niko worked with Adriana (the boat company) to return it to us very quickly. Nothing was too much trouble and we were never made to feel like a nuisance. I would recommend Villa Samba to anyone wanting to visit Dubrovnik. Niko was friendly, hospitable, trustworthy, and very informative. The accommodation itself was spacious, immaculately clean, and included everything you could possibly need and more. It is clear to us that Niko and family have worked very hard to create a space that ticks all boxes. The personal touch went a long way and we are very grateful to have stayed in such a beautiful location - thank you Villa Samba!

Nothing, a truly wonderful break away!

Very clean and accessible, everything we needed was there, after being on a boat for a week the space was amazing. we loved the pool, it was the perfect place for us to be after a very busy 10 days and we could just relax. the host Ana made us a reservation at a lovely steak house which was just a few minutes walk from the Villa. the host couldn’t have been more charming and their son ran us into town to get supplies and even showed us around the supermarket. we actually considered staying a couple of extra days but sadly they were full. we would 100% go back to Villa Samba!

Clean, comfortable and spacious apartment with good facilities. The host was very friendly, informative and helpful. The location is lovely and quiet, close to the beach and a few really nice restaurants. The pool was also amazing, and the views from the pool and balcony in our apartment were beautiful!
