The bed was comfortable, the bathroom quite big and ear plugs were supplied but we did not need them! Check- in was easy and the instructions were very clear. WiFi worked well and was fast. There was enough space to organise your belongings and the kitchen was adequately equipped. The location was superb, right in the middle of all the action but it was not a restaurant laneway and hence we did not have noise all night. There are lots of restaurants in alleys and laneways, which, although charming, can be noisy.

You need to keep the window open, even at night, otherwise the room gets stuffy. This was not a problem for us.

A beautiful apartment just 10 minutes walk from the Pile gate. Excellent instructions for how to find the apartment. Apartment is spacious with lovely furnishing. Has great facilities for if you want to self-cater. However it is in the heart of the old town so lots of dining options. Even has free laundry facilities. Would highly recommend staying here. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Only possible problem is that you need to negotiate stairs to you apartment. I am in my 70s and have hip replacements and had no problems. Luckily we were on the first floor.

Great hotel. Cleanliness is 110%. Host really explained everything. The location and the entry to the apartment is just beautiful. At 32c the AC just worked so well. Larger room and large bathroom. Just 30sec and you’re in the heart of the old town.

Nothing to do with the accommodation ,but Sometimes you can hear light noise from the road. Also beware that there is no cars allowed into the old town. Hence depending on which entry point you are dropped, you might have to walk with your luggage for 5/6 mins.

Great place to end our trip, spacious, modern, clean, comfortable bed, high quality sheets, nice sitting area for tea and reheating leftover pizza, located right in Old Town, close to all the sights and restaurants. Exceptional service from Katya and Dora. It felt like an upscale hotel with concierge service. There's a neat modern lobby reception area with a normal size washer and dryer in a room off to the side supplied with soap, ironing board and iron, and guest bathroom. Keycode entry and camera surveillance in lobby, peaceful environment. We got up early and walked the walls then came back for tea and snacks then checked out, kept luggage in the lobby and spent the whole day seeing museums included in the Dubrovnik pass, went to Banje beach and were able to return and change clothes before going to the airport. Close walk to Ploce gate where we picked up an Uber outside.

That I must have missed my lemon cake and apple filled swirl baked goods in the fridge before leaving. I'm sure, Katya would have retrieved them had I realized it before the afternoon, before the room was cleaned. Highly replaceable on our way to the beach 🤭.

I appreciated the very friendly and helpful girl at reception. She explained everything clearly and definitely made my stay in the old town an enjoyable experience. An added bonus was having the free use if laundry facilities.

On the first night there was a septic smell coming from the bathroom, due to the very old plumbing, as the building is 500 years old. The girl at reception told me how to fix the problem by keeping the drains moist and it was much better the second night of my stay.

Fantastic location - down a beautiful side street right in the middle of Old Town. Walkable to everything! The apartment was fully equipped, had coffee and sugar, beds were comfy, water pressure was great with plenty of hot water. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Offsite parking was a real plus since parking is in short supply. But it is truly offsite - about 10 min taxi ride to Pile Gate. Best not to have a car at all. One of the best places we've stayed ever!

Within the old city walls, so easy to get to everything. Amenities were excellent - comfortable to relax in, make coffee, microwave. Very clean. And the staff was very accommodating. I had a medical issue and they were very responsive in getting me to pharmacy and information in case I needed to see a doctor.

There was nothing I didn’t like.

First of all the location was absolutely perfect. Within the Old Town but we did not have to climb up and down the super steep stairs where many other accommodations are located . The apartment was located just two minutes flat walk from the main street called Strand. We had arranged for a transfer from the airport to Dubrovnik and that went very well. Friendly and informative driver who dropped us at Pile Gate. We were met there by Jellen who walked us the five minutes to Celenga Apartments. This was such a nice way to arrive as the city streets are narrow and a bit confusing until you get oriented. All of the staff we met were friendly and very helpful.

There was nothing that we didn’t like about this property.

We picked this room primarily for its location in the heart of the Old Town, so we were expecting noise, however, the room was surprisingly quiet with the windows closed at night. The manager sent us a door code, so after hours check-in was easy. The room had all the conveniences we could need, plus access to a shared laundry room with washer and dryer. The lobby and hallways all have security cameras. They even have a safe spot for us to leave our luggage after checkout on our last day, allowing us even more time to explore the city before we departed the city.

We eventually had to leave. :(

Central located inside Old Town. Beautiful laneway. Attentive hosts. Spacious two bedroom and two bathroom top floor penthouse apartment.

No lift. Stayed on the highest floor and had to carry 4 luggage bags up +++ but no issue as we liked the exercise. Will definitely stay here again.
