The location in the old town and close to all of the places you want to see in Dubrovnik. Close to restaurants and shops as well. Close to Pile Gate so it’s convenient if you want to take buses or day trips to other places nearby Croatia. The room is large enough for us with seating area. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The staff is friendly. Communication with the staff is smooth. Breakfast is good and we can choose from provided menu.

It can be noisy outside but you can expect this due to the convenient location being on Stradun. Earplugs are provided and I can sleep well with them.

No lift , however it wasn’t a problem for us but maybe for older travellers Because the hotel is located centrally , you can hear party goers to early hours of the morning every night .Earplugs were provided however sound proofing windows would be more effective . May reconsider if you have a health issue as ambulance do not come into old town .

This might be one of the best hotels we've stayed in. We booked the studio apartment and it was more like having a home away from home. Location is in the middle of everything you could possibly want to see in Old Town and was on the flat portion of town so you didn't need to climb a hill at the end of each day just to get back to your room. The staff were super friendly and went out of their way to make us feel at home and relaxed. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning with lots of great options and they made every effort to make sure we were looked after even after experiencing a small hiccup during our trip. The rooms are extremely clean and beautifully designed and there were so many details like Rituals products, slippers, toiletries, a hairdryer and straightener, and even a shaving kit! Mary and Karla were both amazing and so helpful, we would definitely stay here again.

It can get a little noisy since you're in the center of town but we slept through most of it since we were exhausted from exploring every day.

Our stay was truly exceptional! Dubrovnik is truly a gem of a city .. The place was within the walls of the city and it was perfect ! The customer service was outstanding from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our family. The host went above and beyond to ensure we felt at home, offering warm hospitality and incredible breakfasts—complete with fresh coffee and gluten-free options.. Thank you so much for everything—it was an unforgettable experience! Great area to walk around, lots of great nearby restaurants and shops ..

Great little boutique hotel. No front desk or reception area, just beautiful rooms in a building right off the main pedestrian street in the Old Town. Breakfast was included and we were emailed a menu to choose from and a time that we wanted it delivered to our room in the morning. The breakfast was hot and delicious. The room and the bathroom were both large and well appointed. This hotel was a nice surprise in an otherwise very touristy and crowded city.

Because of the city's historical status, the buildings in the Old Town do not have elevators. Difficult to move luggage around. Pack light.

Had a very enjoyable stay at Bota Palace. The apartment is in a very good location in the middle of the old town, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better location. The apartment was very modern and clean with all the facilities that you could require. A very nice breakfast was delivered each morning and the room was cleaned daily to a high standard.

There are quite a lot of stairs leading to the top floor apartment, if someone has difficulty with stairs it would be a good idea to request a first floor apartment. Also the location of the apartment is very near to the Main Street which can be a bit noisy at nighttime and very early in the morning when deliveries are being made to restaurants etc.

We SO enjoyed our stay at Bota Palace...such a convenient stay within the city walls where we spent most of our time. Lovely and clean accomodations with excellent ammenities, the best breakfast (brought to your room), and the most helpful staff! Shout-out to Karla who even arranged transport for us to a nearby dinner venue one night and to the airport. She was also readily available for any questions via text.

Due to the hotel's location off of the Stradun, there's potential late night noise, but our phone's white noise app cancelled it and we slept well.

The location is superb looking out onto the Main Street in the Old Town, the palace has been beautifully restored with everything having been thought through very well. The breakfast is lovely each morning and served at a time of your choosing. The bed is extremely comfy too! So the only real downside is the noise from outside from around 5am onwards but that is out of the Bota Palace’s control as it is the same for everyone who lives there due to the building restrictions on the UNESCO world heritage site. We were informed about this and frankly the comfort, service and location more than make up for it. We’d highly recommend.

This apartment ticks the box for a lot of things! It’s in such a beautiful place and so centrally located for absolutely everything one would want to do in Dubrovnik including eating at a variety of yummy restaurants and cafes! The fact that it is also very spacious, clean and beautifully decked out, added to its appeal .

The stairs of course! Sometimes the enthusiastic tourists were a little too loud for a little too long into the night but you can’t have atmosphere without the people and the people are on holidays in a very popular area!

We loved the location, the apartment is big & host, king size bed in a large bedroom, everything you could want! I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to be in Rome and have a host take care of your every need. He returned calls quickly if we had any questions or concerns. He even arranged a private cab driver which waited for our late flight to welcome us (with our name) at the airport to take us to our front door and also for our return. There is a great pastry shop two doors down and a famous delicious restaurant, FREZZA three doors down . The restaurant is very casual and absolutely delicious. The carbonara and pasta is amazing.
