Stunning views and the most spectacular sunsets. X3 great pools, pool restaurant food and staff were great. Spotlessly clean, rooms large, comfortable and the housekeeping staff were brilliant

I’m not tried the Mediterranean restaurant for dinner once, felt this was the weakest point of the hotel, poor and not value for money. Didn’t use it again

Argosy was still closed so they moved us to the President Hotel next door (5*) So this review is for that hotel (however we stayed Argosy last year and really enjoyed it also - great pools and food) Rooms large, wonderful sea views. Bathrooms with walk in showers. Outside areas for Drinks/restaurant are great / lovely views and sunshine. Breakfast buffet wonderful.s Service and staff were great everywhere. Great to get no 6 bus to old town right outside door, (or #7 to the bus terminal)

Had to move rooms twice -- first sprung a leak in bathroom light fitting from room above, 2nd had really noisy neighbours. Decor a little worn for 5 * hotel but can see signs this is being updated. Weather cool while we were there... outdoor pool too cold, indoor pool OK but not greatest.Beach restaurant had not quite opened also.

The location was really good, outside the tourist area but very easy to get to the center, the view of the pools was amazing too. We had a massage and the spa was great and also the service was perfect

It look a bit worn down like the chairs at the pool were not the best state, also bed sheets were clean but with old stains and little balls in the fabric which makes you think they were used for years!

The location is great, the bus stops a minute walk away and runs every 15 minutes in to the old town and there is a beautiful promenade walk along the coast with plenty of restaurants. The hotel was clean a well maintained. Room was a good size and the beds were very comfy, Breakfast had a really good selection of hot and cold food. They have live music in the evenings and a lovely garden area to sit and the cocktails are very reasonably priced. 2 infinity pools were perfect and never busy - the pool area does get busy but we always managed to find a lounger. There is also a spa and indoor pool which was lovely and cool and quiet.

Nothing, honestly, I will definitely be back.

We enjoyed everything about this hotel, it was one of our best holidays ever. All the staff were very helpful & friendly. The breakfast & evening meals were excellent with such a varied variety. Beutiful gardens and surroundings and the overall organisation was very professional.

We were disappointed that we were on the ground floor, so therefore didn't have a veiw.

Though the hotel itself is beyond it's glory days the amenities are decent and the surroundings make up for it.

The beach that is shown charges 50 EUR / per bed which was very dissapointing as that was the main reason we choose this hotel. On the bright side, a sister hotel's beach is free to use.

We stayed at Argosy Hotel as a family and we enjoyed it very much! We all are active so it was a perfect place. Many running options near the hotel and the best fitness area i‘ve seen in a hotel! We loved the food at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast and dinner buffet has soo many options! We also enjoyed that the hotel isn‘t right in the centre of Dubrovnik so it‘s a perfect getaway from the crowdy tourist places. And you can get to the old town so easily by uber or the local bus

The only minus was that the hotel doesn‘t have its own beach. There is a beacht from the valamar president hotel (same line of hotels) and we loved it! But as a guest from valamar argosy hotel ypu have to pay for sunbeds and umbrellas. Thats why next time maybe we‘ll consider stying at Valamar Presidenty

Superb service! The staff arranged our transport to and from from the airport. Car was brand new, inside was cool and the driver was very friendly. Check-in was quick, the room was as we had paid for. Rooms were extremely quiet and very spacious and clean and the air conditioning worked brilliant. The cleaning stafff did a great job greeting us with a smile every morning and engaging in conversations. Brekfeast + other amenities were very good and excellent quality. The 2 restaurants both had a wide selection of different foods to choose from and price was very reasonable. The pool + beach access was absolutely fantastic.

This was our first time in Croatia and it far surpassed our expectations. We loved everything about this hotel, The Argosy. From the minute we set foot in the hotel the greeting from the staff was lovely. We were welcomed by Ines and Anita, two lovely ladies. They were so so helpful. The outdoor facilities here including the pools are superb. There is direct access to wonderful beaches. It is located on the number 6 bus line with direct access to the old town. The beds are very very comfortable. All the staff from the reception, serving , cleaning and management were so accommodating and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever experienced in a hotel. It caters for all dietary needs. The buffet dinner was excellent value and again caters for all. Also we must mention the sunsets. The sunset views from the Argosy are outstanding. We just loved our stay at the Argosy and hope to return in the future.

There was a huge selection of food for breakfast. It was very well organised: I liked that there were no trays - it (hopefully) means people don't take too much food! Every pool was lovely. They are close to the bar and food, and are clean. Views are breathtaking! Really beautiful. The spa and the spa staff are lovely. We had facials and massages and they were so good! The staff couldn't be friendlier.

The online check-in service doesn't seem to allow a person to check-in when they have already paid for their accommodation: it asks for payment and doesn't seem to go to the next step without it. I couldn't use it as I'd already made a payment.
