The location was very ideal and also how it was positioned with the President hotel. Pool had more than enough chairs and enjoyed the saunas as well as the indoor pool. Loved the live bands each night and the atmosphere. The buffet in the morning and evening was also great. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Would recommend to a friend.

When cleaning the rooms we noticed the ground wasn’t vacuumed. Furthermore I feel like a complimentary bottle of water each day with the cleaning of the room would have been nicer. With checking in, it would have been nice to have a map of the area since we only found out about the Maro World trampolines etc at the end of our stay. The golf cart shuttle service would have also been nicer if it was riding more often but this is a small thing. I feel like the buffet dinner was slightly overpriced being 35EUR with the a La Carte being 55EUR. Also I don’t understand why we have to pay 15EUR for a sunbed if we are already staying at the Valamar La Crome hotel. Even though it’s part of the President hotel I found it very surprising to hear that.

The hotel is situated outside the city center where the tourist attractions are. But the #6 bus is right outside the hotel and conveniently drops us off at the "Old town." It's a big, modern, generic "4-star" hotel like the ones in many American cities. Comfortable but devoid of character. The staff are often busy and overwhelmed with many tour groups, so don't expect any personalized service.

Avoid the dinner buffet even if you're starving! At 35 euros, it was a nightmare of quantity over quality. Everything, meat, fish, veggies, pasta, etc, was overcooked, bland and unappetizing. So much to choose from, but nothing was yummy. The atmosphere was stressful, swarming with hundreds of people from tour groups. There was so much food wasted, which is what happens when the food, though plentiful, just tastes awful! The "free" breakfast was also of poor quality. Runny scrambled eggs and long lines to get coffees at the coffee machines.

The bathroom could benefit from renovation, as it seemed outdated or in need of some improvements.

The staff were amazing, I put in a special request to write a message to my partner in petals on the bed - and they did! Also leaving Happy Birthday alcoholic beverage with a message which was truly lovely. They completely exceeded my expectations with this. They also left another alcoholic drink on his actual birthday which was unexpected. You could tell that the staff/management really cared about the customers staying at their hotel. Transport buses to the Old Town were every 7 minutes, which was amazing! I've never come across a more efficient/convenient transport link before. Wish I had this back home!

The decoration of the room was average however was very clean. The least satisfying thing about the stay at the hotel not the hotel itself but the beach - once you walk down to the beach which is shared exclusively among the Valamar Hotels, you have to pay to rent the sunbeds! Which was a total surprise, and not cheap either. I've never stayed at a hotel that you have to rent a sunbed on the private hotel beach. Also there is a section for the same type of sunbeds but in a "VIP" section which was sitting a metre from the other sunbeds, which a piece of rope separating which I found baffling.

Very nice location, with a good transportation (bus 6) to old town. Amazing breakfast (the best I have ever seen) !!! Thank you for the free upgrade!!! The room was exceptional!!!! Truly appreciated!!!

Absolutely beautiful location with a stunning sunset every night. The service was great and it was nice that you could easily walk to the other hotels and use their facilities too. The kids club was the best I’ve ever seen and my 6 year old had the time of her life, and the parents also had time to enjoy lovely walks and relaxing. Because the kids club was its own location the hotel didn’t feel overrun by kids so it was a perfect balance. Very easy to get into Dubrovnik and also nice to drive north to see all the cute towns.

Very good breakfast. Front desk staff are very helpful. They helped us to transfer to another 5 star sister hotel because we had a late flight the next day and they are closed for 3 months.

Towels are worn out. Room furniture needs an update. There were dead insects in the room and some dust.

We had booked 3 person room but was upgraded to a Junior suite with Sea view. Hotel staff is very kind and accommodative. Indoor swimming pool was heated and big enough. There is an outdoor even bigger pool as well but we didn't make use of it as it was cold. We had the breakfast and dinner buffet, both of which were very good. I have rarely seen so much variety and spread in an hotel buffet. We kept our car in the hotel and instead use the bus 6 to go to City, which is very convenient and bus stop is right outside the hotel. Bus tickets can be purchased from the hotel shop itself. To sum it up, it was a perfect stay and couldn't have asked for more.

1. We had a confusion with the room category and by requesting the hotel manager, we were given the upgrade to the nicest room in the hotel with a beautiful sea view. 2. The facilities - i travelled with my 5 year old daughter and she loved spending time at the pool and Maro world. It's a perfect getaway.

1. We had a half kpard package, but being an indian there were very limited options for dinner for us. The meal was mostly around pork, beef and fish diabetes. I wish there were more chicken or pasta dishes. 2. There is a long walk to go to the Copacabana beach. It gets difficult to reach there if it's too hot a day. I wish there was a shuttle for that.
