Ljerka, our host went to great lengths to settle us comfortably. She allowed us to stay on in one room after check out, so our grandchildren could nap. The room was not booked for the night, and she made allowance. Also Christina at the restaurant of Roko House was great: friendly and helpful, yet firm. We were a family of 12 and stayed in all six rooms, had a great breakfast on the roof top as well. Highly recommend these apartments and rooms for its great location as well as staff. Bolognaise ragu was my favorite at the restaurant.

A compact but beautifully prepared apartment. Bed was very comfortable. The host arranged airport transfers, someone to meet us to show us around the apartment and contact with a tour guide - all superb and excellent value

The bathroom floor flooded when using the shower . I suspect the door seal was not working properly It would have been an added bonus if the toiletries supplied had been of a higher quality (separate shampoos, conditioner and shower gel from a quality range)

Venue and access to the old city were amazing. To be in the walled city enabled complete access with a two minute walk back at any time. We felt we had given the city a complete visit without the stress off driving in and out.

The crowds were heavy at times. This should be expected and compounded when the cruise ships are in. If this is a problem for you, it's best not to go. The venue had tight, steep stairs. It is difficult to negotiate with a case. As a protected world heritage site, you have to accept and plan for this. Travel light.

Beyond expectations! Very kind staff, she even did our laundry for free, the guest will get 20% discount for the restaurant in the same building which always some people are eating there, seems like they have nice foods. "The room condition was very nice!" I personally can't wash myself when the bathroom is not nice. There is hair dryer in the toilet. Everything is 2-7mins away from you. Sometimes we just go back to our room just to use toilet or rest 30mins whatever because it's close to touristic place but also quiet at night. "Amazing location", you can keep your luggage after check out so kind.

Nothing to be honest no complaints at all. Just be noted that there is no 24h reception as it's apartment not hostel, hotel. You can check in from 10am. And if you wanna use 20% discount and eat at the restaurant down, they open at 12pm! Everything was perfect this place we even wanted to extend but it was fully booked for the next day.

The property was in the best location. In the morning, the old town was so quiet and enjoyable and it was lovely to see it before the crowds. It was easy to get to and was close to sights and beaches. It was perfect for a base because it was very comfortable and very clean. There was nothing to fault in terms of cleanliness, it was perfect. Note that towels were provided by not other toiletries. I was met by the host to receive the keys and they provided lots of information about the area for me and even met late in the evening to check-in. She and the rest of the staff were very friendly.

I saw reviews before booking, saying that the apartments were not very soundproof. It didn’t bother me too much but you can hear the odd noise now and again in the middle of the night.

The location was perfect in Old Town, close to everything and one of the main gates as well. The apartment was well equipped with everything needed. The restaurants in both streets were fantastic for breakfast or dinner. You could watch Amazon Prime video on the tv.

Even though we were in first floor, if you are upper then there is no lift, you would need to carry all your luggage up the stairs.

Roko house is right in the heart of Old Town Dubrovnik. It is 2-5 minutes walk to all you want to see in the Old Town and there is plenty. It was clean and simple accommodation. There is a restaurant on ground floor and restaurants and bars are everywhere. You will not have trouble eating in Dubrovnik.

The Q & A said there are no steps. They are referring to getting to Roko House. Once at Roko House, we were two flights of stairs up. We were also told they would store our luggage but they did not. This was no problem as there are many luggage store options. We did not see the staff other than when cleaning and it wa brief but friendly.

We stayed for one night in mid-June. Hosts were very responsive and our (self) check in was very straight forward. The room itself is reasonably small, but it's comfortable, in a good location and good value for money we thought. We didn't notice any noise from the restaurants on the street.

We weren't expecting these, but just noting there were no facilities in our room (tea/coffee, mugs/glasses, shampoo, etc)

Located within the Dubrovnik Old Town, the studio is small but well decorated, comfortable with a good shower and A/C, perfect for one person, 2 max. It is above a nice trattoria with very nice food and staff (discount is offered to Roko House guests). Short walk to reach Pile gate, other town gates and port. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within the Old Town walls.

The terrace is unfortunately being used for drying laundry, but with the current heatwave, it would not be a very enjoyable place anyway.
