The location of the Miro Apartments is ideal. They are located between the Pile gate and the Fort of St Lawrence which we found perfect because there were only a few steps to reach the property. Also, if it gets too crowded or hot while exploring the Old City, it was quick to go back to the apartment and have a rest before exploring again. The view from room 6 is absolutely beautiful and the hosts are amazing. They send you very clear instructions on how to reach the property. Your luggage can be stored if you have a late flight which is very convenient. Highly recommend staying here.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Location was FANTASTIC!! Right next to the Pile Gate which is ideal because you don’t have to climb a million stairs to get to the property. We didn’t hear any noise from outside, either, allowing for peaceful rest. Generally comfortable, fully equipped kitchen, good amenities. We had an AC issue but the hosts were prompt to reply and helped us resolve the issue quickly!

The shower doesn’t have a door and despite our best efforts, the bathroom was almost always wet/slippery. Additionally, the walls inside the property are very thin and we could hear people dropping their suitcase down the stairs early in the morning- it sounded like they were practically in the room with us.

The location of this hotel could not have possibly been better. The hotel is just outside the old city's wall and close to city transit including bus and taxi. There are a couple of excellent restaurants within walking distance, and just around the corner is the most beautiful cove with a view of the sea. Although the manager is on site for just a few hours daily, she is very responsive and always available via email or phone. The apartment is spacious and includes a kitchenette that is fully equipped.

Our apartment had three steps, one down into the room from the front door, one up to the kitchenette, and one up into the bathroom. For an older person or one with a disability, these might be difficult to negotiate.

The location was perfect. Just outside of the pile gate so you can get dropped off really close. We only had to walk for three minutes to get to the property. We had an absolutely wonderful experience. The staff was warm and welcoming and so accommodating. I highly recommend this property if you are staying in Dubrovnik.

All the beds fold down out of the wall which is totally unnecessary as the bedroom is separate from the lounge.

This clean, modern, spacious studio is located right outside the old city wall down a quiet lane. Such a fantastic location! We caught the bus from the port, and from the stop outside Pile Gate, it is 2 minutes’ walk to the apartment. As well as being handy to the old town, there is a small cove, and bars and restaurants close by. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The instructions for the self check-in were very clear with photos provided. The staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged a ride for us to the airport on our last morning.

This was the single best apartment stay experience we have ever had! What an amazing location! The service was impeccable--check-in was a breeze, and we were checked in on by our hosts (by text) the perfect amount. I stayed in one room, and my elderly father stayed in the room across the hall. One of us had a spectacular ocean view that we shared with the rest of our family by video call. We both feel extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to stay here and are grateful to our hosts. We made great use of the little kitchens and the two grocery stores a few minutes' walk away on days we wanted a change from restaurant meals. Rooms were quiet and very clean. One of the best things was the AC--I need my room really cold to sleep, and in mid-May many Croatia hotels with AC had yet to "turn their AC systems on" for summer. ACs and heating both operated via in-room units rather than shared systems, so you have all the temperature flexibility you could want year-round. AC worked great and I slept well every night! We will definitely try to stay here again if we ever come back to Dubrovnik!

It would have been nice if the documentation checking part of our check-in could have been done 24/7, but this is the trade-off of being in an apartment. I believe we were given a 4- or 6-hour window for the check-in, and that we would have had the opportunity to check-in the following day too. In the end, this turned out to be plenty of flexibility for us.

Good information on finding location, however old stone steeps difficult with suitcases, we were on the 3rd floor with small spiral staircase to climb, all doable but difficult at 79 yrs old. all ok but would book 1st floor next time.

Except for the unit stairs our stay was perfect, location is magnificent

Fantastic location; quite a few good places nearby for breakfast. Wonderful hosts, very responsive. Airconditioners were excellent. Lovely shower, mini kitchen ( we didn’t use it though). Very close to swimming beach (Sulic) and to Pile gate. We had ground floor unit; no stairs!!!!

Being on ground floor meant we heard everyone coming and going through front entrance and the people walking in the street past the windows.

The location was superb; minutes away from Dubrovnik Old Town, and very close to the bus stop from the ferry (we had arrived by boat, from Split). The layout of the studio was very interesting, with sliding doors ensuring that the bedroom could be separate from the rest of the space. It was great to have airconditioning, because the weather was very hot whilst we were in Croatia! The hosts were super-friendly; very responsive to queries; and went out of their way to post my kindle to me, after I realised I'd left it behind, for which I remain very grateful.

Our studio was on the 1st floor, which meant the studion had no direct sunlight. This is a tiny niggle; there was nothing wrong with the location or the facilities, just something I would have liked.
