Great location. One of the few Limassol hotels with full facilities within easy walking distance from the old town and Kanika/Makarios area. Clean and comfortable rooms with balconies and everything else one needs. Great swimming pool and sundeck with covered bar. We really enjoyed our stay there and it was great value for money with friendly staff.

It’s let down by the food. Poor breakfast and terrible coffee but there are plenty of other options close by.

I was doing the check out on 16-th December at 03:00 a.m. and on the morning of 15-th December I spoke with the reception (it was a lady on the shift) and I requested a packed breakfast for the next morning ---- due to earlier check out. The lady said that will be arranged , she asked me the room number and the time when I will do the check out ---- and she wrote it down all the details. The next morning on check out, the man being on the reception, he looked at me like to an alien !!!!! He said that they don't do this and I can go and take the coffee if I want !!! His attitude and the way of talking was quite rude ! Thank you, Catalin

Nice place, not directly on the main street of Limassol, but just a few meters away. If you dont care about the fitness center is a good value.

I chose this place because it advertised a fitness center, but honestly, it shouldn’t be listed as a proper one. It’s only open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Saturday, an awful schedule for anyone trying to work out while on vacation. The equipment is even worse than the opening hours: outdated and insufficient for even two people to exercise at the same time.

Very good value for money with basic accommodation but clean. Great location just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and promenade. Very nice staff. Breakfast was very good and varied especially considering the charge for the room.

As a returning customer, I emphasise again the parking problem. Parking is available at a building opposite the hotel and a person of the personnel needs to come open it to enter and to exit it. This is very inconvenient. Especially when you want to enter and have to call the reception and wait in a street where places even to stop for a few minutes might be unavailable and you keep driving around until somebody comes to open it. A system giving to the residents entry and exit without having to notify and wait should be adopted.

We had a very enjoyable stay, although of course we did not spend enough time in the actual rooms, rather around town; the rooms were above average, but you could clearly see the difference between the standards on the 5th floor and the 3rd floor - the ones on the 3rd looked renovated, or at least the bathroom was a lot different between the two (we had initially been allocated in 507 and then switched to 309 due to the double bed). The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed it both days. Overall we had a nice stay, and we would definitely choose it again in the future. Thank you!

The communication prior to arrival to let guests know whether they're taking any further action in meeting the requests, like being allocated a Double Bed - which of course it's always subject to availability.

The hotel is at a great location about 100 meters from the main road and the seaside, 20-25 minutes walk from the city centre, and also a few minutes walk from the bus stop (bus 30 goes along the seaside, quite practical). The staff was really nice and helpful. The room I got was fine, it had a small balcony looking at the street. Most nights were quiet enough, especially considering the location (the nearby main road). I also liked the buffet breakfast. Altogether I found it a good deal for the price.

I had no serious problem with the hotel. It is true that the furniture is a bit old, and I'm sure the four- and five-star hotels have a wider selection of buffet breakfast. But for the price and location, I think this is quite decent, I would definitely stay here again in the future.

dinner was amazing. Kudos to the chef, he is great. 5 starts to that guy. And the portions are HUGE! I see people complained about breakfast being same everyday- its a buffet breakfast , what do you expect ? You can combine your mail there are various options. The location is great , 1 min walk to the beach and few minutes from the city center. The waiter ( I dont know his name ) was so nice, professional, and polite. 5 Stars to him as well

The last 2 days of my stay some crazy ( I think Israeli) family occupied the room next to me, and I had to knock on the wall so they would stop yelling, trashing doors etc, ( at 11 pm and 5 am ) The place could invest in sound proof isolation. Yeah the guys next door lacked manners and basic education, but I could hear them shower , the light switchers and all. Not to mention the balconies which are separated with some glass and you literally feel the crazy neighbors next to you. The reception people could change their face impressions, they are the first point of contact. The cleaning ladies are doing their best, but that as much as they can do with interior that is already wore off.

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, very tired and sleep-deprived after the flight. The receptionist, a very nice woman, made us feel very welcome. She understood our situation, invited us to relax by the pool on an open area with sun loungers and come to check into our room at 11 o’clock in the morning. And it was just a miracle! Even before this time, we were already in our cozy room on the 5th floor with a stunning view of the sea. The hotel staff is very hospitable and genuinely friendly! Breakfast in the dining room is excellent, from a variety of snacks to different types of coffee. Service at the highest level! We also used the sauna twice. At the time we appointed, it was prepared for us. The sauna is gorgeous, plus a large swimming pool with cool water - just a miracle! To summarize the above: we spent an amazing 5 days, feeling like part of a single family! And, of course, next year we will come here again to the Kapitanios Hotel, but for a longer period.

We were very pleased with everything!

This time around we got a beautifully refurbished room. It was lovely. The staff really make this place, all so polite and the lovely bar lady remember us from last year. There was also a lovely lady down in the health club that gave my son an inflatable ball to play with. The breakfast is delicious, and has a lot of variety. I really can not fault this hotel. There was no fighting for sun beds and it’s a very quiet hotel which I like with a 7 year old that goes to bed early. Thank you to all the staff at Kapetanios hotel, you made our holiday so special. See you next year :)

Nothing, everything was excellent.

The staff is very pleasant and friendly throughout (all the receptionists and restaurant staff). Continental breakfast has the usual options and we liked it. Coming from a London flat, the room size was great. Overall, this obviously isn't a 5* hotel, but I would give it more than 3* too. Overall, it felt cosy and welcoming.
