Very good buffet breakfast. Good location for local amenities. Very good all round Staff. Housekeeping very good.

The attitude of the Sommelier in the Fine Dining Restaurant who insisted a good LBV Port wine should be served chilled and in a wine glass. I complained to Management but received no response. Also the daily openings and closures of available restaurants were never announced. You had to enquire at Reception each day to find out which were open and to make a reservation which is not suitable for those on half board and planning their day ahead.

In summary we had a relaxing peaceful elegant rest. While landing at Larnaca from necessity, we decided that we should transfer to Paphos, to get the right mix of hotel quality and evening activities even though it's a long drive. good decision, even though we barely left the hotel because it was so lovely. We in retrospect could have taken the half board option because we ate all our meals in one of the Thanos hotels. Room. Relaxing, beautiful view, good size, loved the turn down in the evening. Should we have taken the kyrma garden room? No....we had same view and would have felt we needed to stay on the veranda all day. Instead we moved around during the day to follow the sun, ending up in the gorgeous spa for a relax. beautiful swimming pools. Regarding the hotel choice, after reading all the reviews we plumped for sea not mountain, and Almyra was the right choice for our relax-vaca. Anabelle I think caters to an older adult crowd and probably for kids because they have adult only spa at Almyra. Almyra looks and feels modern and was right for us. Annabelle more luxury in a detailed style. In both, staff are welcoming and kind. Also Anabelle is more of an H shape hotel, Almyra spread even meanders along the sea front. the staff were so kind and professional. breakfast to go at 0500 due to early checkout? no problem. car service booked for specific time? absolutely prompt. spa was fabulous, thank you Lizi.

The staff were absolutely wonderful, so friendly, welcoming, and always in good spirits. The family-friendly facilities are outstanding, with beautiful pools, a delicious breakfast spread, and everything maintained to a very high standard. The kids club and nanny services, in particular, were fantastic. We were visiting for a wedding, and due to unforeseen circumstances, my mum couldn’t join us, leaving us in a bit of a bind with our 11-month-old. Thankfully, the hotel’s facilities were a lifesaver and they looked after her so well. She had plenty of food, enjoyed nursery rhymes, a baby foam party, and arts and crafts, and we felt totally at ease. Christina, our nanny, stayed in touch throughout and was so reassuring, which meant we could actually enjoy the wedding without constantly checking the baby monitor. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re travelling with little ones - they truly go above and beyond.

Nothing I can say, we had a wonderful stay!

I stayed at Almyra on December 24th 2024 for one night. I am sure when I visit it in summer, I will be able to give it 7 stars, this time only 5 ;) I was alone and I wanted to have an exceptional stay, so I rang the hotel in the morning asking them to put some Christmas décor in my room, which they did and it was lovely. Upon arrival, an exceptionally kind and helpful valet Marko helped me park my car and took my luggage to my room, explaining all the essentials and facilities. Maria at the front desk recognized my voice from my earlier phone call and knew my name the moment I said hello. I had booked a terrace room , but to my excitement and disbelief I was upgraded to Kyma 1 Seafront Suite ! A bungalow right opposite the sea and with my own rooftop! It was super clean and stylish, and I felt very comfortable there the entire stay. The view from my patio was breathtaking. I have never stayed so close to the sea, I spent hours sitting outside with a cup of tea admiring the colours of the sky and sea. There was a big fruit plate a bottle of wine In the room, coupled with a sample of local Christmas treats – kourabiedes and melomakarona, which I must say were the best I have ever tried and I have lived in Cyprus for over 20 years. I got a phone call from their spa confirming my 3pm appointment. I had the Pearl of the Sea treatment with Yurinta and I must say, first time the massage actually worked on me and now days later, I still feel the effects of it and my neck and back pains stopped. The whole idea of having a bath with a sea view added to the experience. I highly recommend her as a massage therapist and I will definitely drive to Paphos again just for this massage. I booked and pre-paid a Christmas Eve Gala dinner for one. The room was very elegant, and the music duo created a beautiful festive atmosphere. I was seated by the band and although I was by myself, I didn’t feel alone at all. The food was great and the service spotless. Thank you!

As soon as you enter the hotel parking lot, you realize you've come to the right place. You are greeted at the entrance, your luggage is taken, and if you arrive earlier than check-in time, you are offered the opportunity to leave your luggage in a safe place and, in the meantime, be served a coffee. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. As for us, we had a big surprise because they gave us a free upgrade to the room we had booked. We enjoyed a superb view overlooking the sea and the possibility of sunbathing right on the terrace in front of the room. We were also fully satisfied with the variety of food at breakfast. I can say that it was a 3-day vacation that we will remember fondly for a long time to come.

The low ratings given on Booking by certain people without justification are completely untrue.

We had a lovely stay, perfect for young families. Staff were amazing and very friendly, facilities were very clean. We had a lovely holiday, thank you!

I would have liked more choice of foods at breakfast. There was also a child who was using their hands to pick up food from the buffet. There was also a child running around the buffet when people were carrying hot plates of food. It would perhaps benefit from no children unaccompanied by an adult at the buffet policy. Also the high chairs were not very clean and we had to wipe them again before using it.

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights 22-24 th May2025. This was a return visit as we so enjoyed the hotel and Paphos in March 2025. Staff all excellent from front desk, pool, restaurant, bar and special mention to Diana in the beach restaurant for making ourselves at home. Best grilled sea bass! The General Manager was exceptionally charming, greeting guests and welcoming. Room as booked ( sea facing category) with stunning view of the sea, very clean, comfortable bed, good bathroom. I had asked for top floor as a request and our request was granted. Cleaning staff obliging gave us all the towels, hangers needed. Good quality bath products. Room left immaculate each morning by cleaning staff. Great fresh fish at the beach restaurant. Fab location right on beach next to cute water sports complex. Could swim in the sea. Very happy experience our entire visit. Also immaculate, gorgeous spa. Adult only pool great too very clean and quiet. Always plenty of comfortable sunbeds and towels and, as soon as we pressed the convenient bell placed by our deck chair, staff arrived to take our order for drinks. Great value for money. Liked the fact that the room was very accessible to all amenities. Never had to wait for lift. Plenty of parking. Valet parking excellent with obliging staff.

To be honest we are very happy guests and will return again. I can’t think of anything we didn’t like. Could put more towels in the room but when asked for more they arrived immediately. The only other issue was a man standing at the reception being very rude to the general manager, complaining loudly about being given an inland room and wanting an upgrade. Each room category is very clearly stated so I was surprised. The general manager was explaining this to him and remained impressively calm in the face of some hostility from the complaining guest.

I have used this hotel previously and chose to discard a night elsewhere to stay here for our final night of the holiday. A hotel which is not "adults only" but appears to attract clients who wish to stay somewhere which is more than a tourist "fly and flop". Several restaurants to choose from within the Almyra and the adjacent Annabelle. Buffet Breakfast in the Mosaic restaurant is always a temptation due to the extensive choice with much local produce Standards are high and appear to retain staff, which adds to the feeling of "welcome". Staff are evidently trained to a high standard and deliver good service. Always had a relaxing experience.

No complaints about the hotel. There are currently major road works to the rear which could not be heard inside the hotel but can be intrusive when outside and dust. This development extends into the area behind the port so is likely to be there throughout the summer.

Brilliant service especially from the waitresses and waiters at breakfast and dinner buffet. Excellent breakfast buffet, especially the fresh waffles and egg station. Lovely resident cats. The pool set up works very well, with the baby and family pool with bed loungers and plenty of shade, and the adult only pool being very quiet and calm. Brilliant hotel design with great sea views, private from the board walk, and lots of greenery and step-free paths for pushing a pram around. House keeping kept the rooms lovely and tidy, and provided everything needed for a baby - cot, steriliser, sheets, and even little towel robe and slippers. Excellent location with access to the boardwalk, sea swimming and short walk to the archeological site. Will be returning.

We (2 adults, 2 children) had a great week at the Almyra in Paphos and would highlight the following positives about the hotel: - The hotel is in a great location with access to the beach, restaurants, town, some beautiful walks, the waterpark - All the staff are super helpful and the service levels are exceptional. They even lent me cash for no charge to pay for taxis. - The breakfasts have excellent options and everything is clean and fresh (wish it was open till 1030am or later!) - The hotel is very clean and well looked after. It isn’t the newest but all amenities are good. - The pool areas are lovely and very comfortable We will definitely be returning soon.
