If not the best, it is one of the best locations in Paphos. Hotel is up there on the list, too. Just in front of the hotel is small, yet amazing beach. Atypical for Europe and Mediterranean. Beach itself is worth a stay. Hotel has wi fi with range of 200 meters so you can enjoy the beach even more. Wi fi doesn't even have a password, unlike your neighbors back home. Bathroom is very clean, although I don't like bathtub. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. I was on a tour on Cyprus so I only had 2 days (1 night), but I plan on visiting again. Most likely in this hotel.

There isn't much not to like in hotels like these, but one thing did bother me. I booked room with sea view. It can be clearly seen on pictures that sea can be seen, not much philosophy there. Apartments are on three "levels" (floors).First will give you pool view. Second and third will provide sea view. For some reason, I was given first one. That is clearly not what I booked and lady at the reception "argued" without any argument. Later, we had a nice chat on other topics, but I don't buy those kind of explanations. My stay was great as I spent time on the promenade and next to the beach, but this should be warning for those who pay for "sea view". Do not accept anything lower than the first or second level (floor). Enjoy your stay, it's hard not to.

Everything about the hotel was honestly perfect, room, breakfast, pool etc.

The main issue and reason as to why I can’t rate this higher is I feel slightly let down and “lied to” so to speak in regard to the pictures used on the listing. I paid for a Superior SEA VIEW Room, and the pictures suggested this would at least be on the first floor. However, the room I was given was ground floor level and most certainly did not have a sea view as advertised. This was quite disappointing. I enquired with staff and they said it was on an availability basis, however, advertising the room as Sea View with pictures only showing the first floor, this felt a bit unfair.

The rooms were not cleaned as often as I think they should be They should be done every day regardless,not on say so This lets the accommodation down

We were greatly impressed by the reception desk at the Amphora Hotel, especially their intervention in respect of our missing luggage and various other issues during our stay: especially the boarding passes at the end. Brilliant! We also appreciated the excursions and visits desk run by Constructour who fixed up several trips but most especially excellent seats for the Opera 'La Traviata' which was played in the old harbour and which everyone went to. We liked the food but specially the service in the buffet restaurant and in the Beach Bar: friendly effective and quick; We also appreciated the friendly cleaning staff and the incredibly rapid hotel maintenance service;, often reacting within minutes. Our room had an amazing view of the sea and the sunsets for which Paphos is famous. All in all we could not have enjoyed it more.

Nothing. It was fabulous.

We liked everything about the stay. The room had enough space, bed was comfortable, big bathroom with two sinks, good size pool, plenty of sunbeds, breakfast varied and tasty. Staff, everyone, were very warm, it was pleasure to interact. For dinner went to the center, less than 2 km pleasant evening promenade walk. Wild, swimmable beach next to hotel and a good, organized one some 300 m. After checkout we were allowed to stay BY the pool for couple of hours that was very welcome.

Room conditioner was very cold, we switched it off, as did not manage to get it comfortable. Our room was on the ground level, no much privacy due to transparent balcony.

The hotel feels like a charming small village. The breakfast met expectations, offering more than the usual fare. The location is excellent, just a 20 minute walk from the harbor, with direct access to the sea, which is not the best sea of the area. Regarding the high season that we stayed there, it was value for money. Considering it was during the high season when we stayed, it offered good value for money.

As many guests have noted, adding more shade around the pool, perhaps with a tent or similar structure, would be a welcome improvement

loved the location and the big rooms. the breakfast was super. very relaxing and beautiful hotel. stuff was perfect. heating was excellent due to december cold. definitely want to visit again

not negatives but just to mention. the back of the buildings are very dark in the night. the internal pool was closed.

The hotel is lovely, with beautiful suites, views and facilities. The staff are friendly, approachable and helpful. The outdoor pool is wonderful and spotlessly clean, as was our room. We also enjoyed a very good breakfast! We will definitely return!

There was nothing we didn’t like! Everything was as we had hoped it would be. Our suite was way beyond our expectations. We had a lovely view of the sea. There were plenty of toiletries in the bathroom and the walk-shower was much appreciated.

Great view, food, great personell

The taxi they provide as airport transfer (P.I. KING'S TAXI LIMITED) is a scammer, demanding more for transfer than the regular price. Price the hotel offers to Larnaca was 130 eur, he demanded 150... Smelly smokimg taxi, no air condition, and a weird acting driver.
