The view was stunning! Definitely worth choosing the sea view room. The location is very nice, with a park just outside and some pretty scenic spots close by. It's also very convenient located. It's close to the intercity bus station and there is a bus to the airport around 10 min walk from the hotel. The staffs were very friendly and helpful.

The cleanliness, impeccable. All the staff, from the reception, from the restaurant and cleaning, extremely kind and attentive to all the details. Congratulations!. The room is not very spacious, but enough for two people. We were accommodated in a room with a large balcony, overlooking the sea. The bed is comfortable, the bathroom equipped with toiletries and towels changed daily. There is its own parking, and if there happens to be no free space, you can park for free in the immediate vicinity, without any problem. The breakfast, buffet type, diversified. Everything was up to expectations, or even above expectations. Honestly, I recommend this hotel, which, I would appreciate, should be rated with more than 2 stars

The staff were friendly, and I enjoyed the views from the room, and the breakfast. I also appreciated the drinking water fountain and the parks nearby. There are also nice options for dining. I felt very at home there. I travel a lot and it's not often that I am sad to leave a hotel. In this case, I was.

The rooms are a little on the small side and there aren't enough electrical outlets. I could never fully understand how the buses run in Paphos, but this is not the fault of the hotel. Guests should know that ride sharing services don't work well in Paphos: you need to rent a car or book a taxi if you plan to move around a lot in the area.

We had a wonderful experience. The hotel is in a beautiful old building and very well maintained with the most caring staff I have ever encountered. The view during sunset from the hotel was breathtaking and the breakfast was excellent. We had a car so it was also helpful there is a guest parking there. It is worth mentioning that the location is in the old city. For us it was great because we wanted to be close to the restaurants and shops there (it's a lovely area) but it is far from the beach although there's a bus there. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to come back

The best bits were the spectacular views, as the hotel is located upon a hill and most evenings you can watch the sunset (if your room has a sea view). Great photos to be taken! The staff are super friendly and very helpful, nothing is any trouble. It had an old school charm that's hard to beat and really welcoming. It's like spending time with family (you like). The location in Pathos has great restaurants, bars, shopping mall, gift shops etc. The bus stop is less than 5 minutes from the hotel, taking you to various areas in Pathos, including beaches. The breakfast is fantastic. Sets you up well for your day ahead. Prepared with love by a group of diligent women keeping the buffet breakfast constantly maintained with food. Rooms are cleaned every day and the hotel is very good value for money compared to others. Reception team are very helpful too. I'd highly recommend this place, all the sparkling reviews are true, don't miss out.

I did have a leak in my bathroom, but the owner dealt with it immediately. He called someone, who drove to the hotel in the evening to fix it! That's dedication. One thing to bare in mind if you have mobility issues, is there are a lot of steps from one side getting to the hotel as it is on a hill. However, there is a lift in the hotel.

We were extremely impressed with all aspects of this venture. They have been in business for 50 years and have perfected a winning formula..It's a 2* hotel so you're spared the gym, beauty salon, spa etc,and there's no muzak!Everyone we dealt with from being greeted and welcomed by Adonis was lovely, friendly and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our room was spacious and had an amazing view over the town to the coast. There is a small car park.As others have commented the breakfasts were first class, among the best of any we've had anywhere. We were genuinely sorry to leave and would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.

My only improvement in terms of the room is the shower curtain, the size of the cubicle was not a problem but the curtain sticking to your legs while you shower was a little annoying, I recommend magnets to be placed in the right places for this to be addressed, but this is not deal breaker

Upon returning my key, if it were me on the other side of the desk when having the key returned to me I would wish the traveller a safe journey home and say I hope you enjoyed your stay and not “You can go now”, the lady (blonde, about 45 years old) that I gave the key to, clearly doesn’t normally speak to guests…

We spent an amazing week in Axiothea! The best hotel in Pafos! Very clean room, comfortable bed, big closet and beautiful sea view. We couldn’t get enough of the view, both from the balcony and the breakfast area. We recommend to upgrade to a sea view room, it is totally worth it! We also had a fridge and a kettle. The cleaning service was provided daily with changing towels (not daily but enough). The hotel parking is free of charge, you don't need a reservation - if there is spot available, you can park there. The parking also has a beautiful view :) The staff was always friendly! The breakfast was also really good, especially the fruit and the variety of homemade jams. The really cool thing was getting a bottle of water as a welcoming gift which you could refill anytime you want to from the dispenser located in a breakfast room. We were grateful to have a possibility of free water, especially due to the hot weather. We bought additional bottle for just 1€. The location is also perfect for more active visitors. The hotel on its own is really calm though so I guess a little better than the typical resorts. It is right in the old town filled with amazing restaurants. It is a bit further to the sea but we had a rental car which is highly recommended to have while visiting Cyprus. We had a really great stay there and would definitely come back one day!

The only minuses we have encountered were some mishaps with towel exchange or we found the breakfast a bit monotonous after a week, but it’s nothing that would change our mind about the hotel.

We liked a lot the view from the balcony, despite the fact that we were the closest room to the nearby restaurant (we asked for change, but the hotel was fully booked). The breakfast was nice and charming - the main hall has the same good view and the local jam offered by the personnel is something really exquisite! The rooms might be small, however ours was very clean and recently renovated. Despite its simplistic style, it had everything necessary for our stay.

The only things we did not like were related to the location of our room. It was too close to the local famous restaurant and it happened to be just next to the housekeepers' room, which meant that around 9 AM you could be woken up by the cleaning personnel, who was about to start their working day...

Everything was great! Excellent value for money! Our room was big, clean, with amazing sea view, good mattresses, equipped with everything necessary (hairdryer, iron with ironing board, water heater, big refrigerator). The hotel definitely deserves one more star. The breakfast room is a great start to the day because it has a stunning view of the sea (skipwreck!) and the city. Breakfast was good, there was something for everyone both salty and sweet (eggs, vegetables, fruits, cereals, pastries, rice pudding, at least 10 types of homemade jams!). We ate there the best hummus we tried on the island. They also have plant milks. Only the coffee wasn't tasty. Location is also great, close to the town square, also close to the marina, tombs, mosaics. The staff was extremely friendly. There are also children's playgrounds in the park nearby. We definitely recommend the hotel!

The coffee could be better. The option of Cypriot coffee would be great! Since we were traveling with little children, we might have missed a small playroom/toys room in the hotel. Just enough to keep the kids entertained for a short while after breakfast. Otherwise, everything was great!
