My husband and I flew down to Karlovy Vary, Czechia from Miami, Florida and we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent accommodation and the high standard quality service of Olympia Spa & Wellness hotel! Rooms are bright, clean and specious. The hotel is located right in the heart of the town and with an excellent view. There is a swimming pool at the top floor of the hotel with sauna and spa. I would like to point out an excellent service, high professionalism of the front desk manager Martin. He is an exceptional person - very caring and helping in any possible way. Thank you Martin! The general director of the hotel Olga manages the hotel in an outstanding and professional way. The hotel in general is very clean and very nicely kept. The staff is very polite and responsive to guests' needs. The hotel has an outstanding breakfast, with big choice of hot food, cheese, salami, fruits and cakes. Every room has bathrobes and sleepers. Plenty of space to store your clothes & suitcases. Everything is in walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely come back here again. Thank you for the excellent time in Karlovy Vary!

All was perfect!

The location of the hotel was excellent as it was located in the middle of the city of Karlovy Vary making it easier to walk to the main attractions, which were nearby. Main services were easily accessible. The hotel personnel are very kind, friendly and always ready to help, ready to recommend places to visit in Karlovy Vary with a smile. The spa facilities was exceptional, as the size of the pool and sauna was adequate; not too small nor too big, making the facilities very confirmable. The hotel rooms were very conformable, very silent, creating an atmosphere of relaxation. The breakfast served accommodated all needs and fit all ages (children, adults, elderly). The hotel stay including also the additional services (massage) are affordable, not pricy considering the luxury offered at the hotel. Our stay was simply exceptional. We would like to thank that personnel including management for a beautiful and heart-felt welcoming and for making us feel safe during our stay. They simply made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend Hotel Olympia, which is placed in the heart of Karlovy Vary :)

Parking lots possibilities are limited. The hotel's personnel however, offered clear, adequate and good advice on alternative parking lots, and it was very easy to find alternative nearby parking slots.

The food was diverse, fresh, and warm. The hotel is set back from the street but still in the center, so the location is excellent! The view from the pool overlooking the architecture and greenery is beautiful. The room was bigger than we expected and even nicer than in the photos. The atmosphere of both the hotel and the whole town is calm and pleasant.

None of this really bothered us, but just to mention — some non-essential things around the hotel (like small details in the room or one of the showers near the sauna) weren’t fixed. Still, it didn’t affect our stay at all. The only thing that could be better is the soundproofing in the rooms. That said, for my husband and me, this was definitely one of our favorite trips!

Everything. Lovely staff, well-prepared food, clean rooms, great pool and spa… the location is perfect, too. The building might be old, but it is beautifully built, and maintained with pride. This is not some soulless, modern chain hotel, but a gem of old world hospitality. The staff were unfailingly kind and helpful throughout our stay, and couldn't have been lovelier. We had breakfast and dinner there for three days, and we were pleasantly surprised by the effort they made. The salads were always fresh and varied, as was the selection of hot dishes. My friend pronounced the various local meat dishes to be very tasty, and there was always at least one type of fish on offer. The pool and sauna area is kept exceedingly clean, and is an oasis of serenity. Get a room with a view if you can.

The only thing that I would respectfully suggest is that the breakfast cereals/ nuts are stored in a more airtight fashion. But this is a minor issue in an otherwise wonderfully run hotel

Excellent stay! The superior room on 3rd floor with the balcony was spacious and had great view to the city center and the river creek (pls check my photos). Efficient, speedy and smiley check-in / out … so compliments to the lady with the blue eyes (sorry , I don’t know her name) who also gave us great recommendations for sightseeing, restaurant, spa alternatives and useful advice about how to drink the thermal springs water to avoid stomach issues. Comfy mattress was also important for sleep comfort. The rooftop pool and sauna was a nice addition.

The hotel doesn’t have its own parking … they can arrange a spot to nearby hotels upon availability OR you have to park at the hilltop parking and either walk 10mins or use the funicular. Nevertheless you now that before booking so my rating is still perfect 10

on Booking when booking was indicated breakfast included, so we traveled with children, for us it was important. When settling, it turned out that for breakfast should be paid separately

Dining: The on-site restaurant was excellent, with a breakfast buffet featuring fresh fruits, vegetables, cheese, pastries, and local products. The attentive staff made great recommendations. Service: The exceptional service truly sets Olympia Wellness Hotel apart. Every staff member went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, showing great attention to detail and genuine hospitality. Location: The hotel is ideally located for exploring Karlovy Vary, just a short walk from charming shops, cafes, and local attractions, yet maintains a tranquil atmosphere. Everything was good. No need for improvement.

The breakfast and dinner were delicious and varied and good in price. The rooms are nice , clean and quite big (including sofa, armchair, desk) The location of the hotel was perfect , in the hearth of the city. The recepcionists were kind.

Ive booked two rooms, one for children and one for parents. Ive requested the two room near to each other because of the young children. Unfortunately the two room were in different floor and different part. This was very annoying and uncomfortable for us and parents have to sleep in different room. The car can be parked only on the hill in public garage , climbing is needed.

I had a fantastic experience at the Olimpia Hotel. Martin was attentive and went above and beyond. Ekaterina provided excellent service with a genuine smile. Chef Anton's culinary creations were divine. The hotel's ambience and cleanliness were outstanding. The attention to detail was evident throughout. I highly recommend the Olimpia Hotel for a memorable stay. Martin's leadership, Ekaterina's service, and Chef Anton's culinary skills truly stood out. Everything was great!

My husband and I stayed for one night in a suite and had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, making for a very comfortable stay. The room had a bathtub, and the Wi-Fi worked well. We especially enjoyed the sauna and swimming pool, which were perfect for relaxation - particularly when the pool was kid-free. The view from the pool area is magnificent! The location of the hotel is fantastic, offering great convenience and easy access to nearby attractions. We found the overall value for the money to be exceptional.

The only minor downside was the lack of on-site parking. However, the receptionist was very helpful and provided clear instructions on where to park, so it wasn't an issue. The breakfast was decent but didn’t stand out as particularly exciting. I was incredibly frustrated by the constant flow of emails from the hotel. First, their booking account was hacked, which resulted in a lot of suspicious messages with odd links, and I had to report this issue to them. Afterward, I started receiving an excessive number of messages and emails about the hotel, including information about their facilities and options. Despite these small drawbacks, our overall experience was highly positive. We would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again!
