Room was small but modern and clean, ensuite tip-top, quiet location, staff professional and friendly , breakfast was excellent (large selection of freshly cooked hot and cold nreakfast food, cereals, yogurts, fruit, breads and pastries, juices and tea/coffee), restaurant was open (on a Sunday late afternoon/evening) with good selection of nicely cooked traditional Czech fare, free parking was available, this part of the old town is picturesque, large Billa supermarket and modern self-service carwash available in newer part of town.

Everything was perfect, I have been here before and will come again.

Traditional-style old-school Schweik-themed hotel with fin-de-siecle interior decor, restaurant on the premises with varied menu, good service. Room and en-suite clean. Picturesque town square. Supermarket and car wash at roundabout 10 minutes walk away. Free parking. Breakfast superb: big choice of everything you could reasonably wish for. I have been before and will come again. Excellent value for money, well worth a detour.

Cozy old fashioned (in good meaning) hotel in historical city centre, brewery as a part of the area. Great breakfast, parking in front of hotel for free.

We chose probably the hottest week this summer and therefore we would really appreciate the air conditioning. Unfortunately, the window blind was missing / broken. No ventilation in the bathroom, too.

Great location, free parking, good choice for breakfast, good restaurant downstairs. The room ist very big, with enough possibilities to sit down when in room. Our dog was satisfied as well ;-)

We had a tub for shower; I do not like it myself, but this is just my opinion.

The staff at this establishment are friendly, the amenities cover all your basic needs, and the location is pretty much ideal. Additionally, the restaurant downstairs serves delicious food and drinks, so you really can't go wrong with the entire package.

It was cool stay in unique style hotel. You can dine in a pub/restaurant downstairs. They have their own brewery with numerous selection. Very helpful and friendly staff!!!!!!

The only thing (which was understandable) warmth of rooms due to lack of A/C. But then again it was not listed as well!

The property is very clean, great breakfast and very nice staff. The wellness is new and very beautiful, clean.

There was no kettle in the room, neither glasses or fridge, no tea, no info about wifi, just soap in the barhroom.

Friendly and helpful receptionist (we spoke Czech, so can't vouch for their language capability), building décor tastefully themed after The Good Soldier Schweik and Alfons Mucha (Secessionist Art-Nouveau style), beautiful and stylish stained glass and decorative features, breakfast served in magnificently decorated (Art Nouveau style) function room. The hotel has its own restaurant and you can eat outside on the front verandah. A little more expensive (two beers and dessert - £9) than some in the Czech Republic, but service and food were excellent. Breakfast choice (from 07.00) was the best I have ever had in any (budget) hotel with everything you could wish for: cereals, cold cuts and salad, cooked breakfast, pastries, breads, fresh fruit (pineapple, kiwi, melon etc.). This is a popular, long-established and highly professional eating-place in this small town with its beautifully maintained buildings on the adjacent main square. The small town of Nepomuk is the birthplace of the artist Augustin Němejc (1861-1938) and this hotel is well worth a detour and a visit. Highly recommended! Room and ensuite were spotless and comfortable. Some parking in front of building, in small car park to the side, or (free) on main square three minutes' walk away.

My room (on the top floor at the front) had no window at eye-level but there was an openable skylight.

Excellent breakfast: everything you could reasonably wish for - hot and cold. Parking right outside the hotel.

Nothing to complain about, but breakfast opening (supposedly 07.00) was late, but this was a minor issue.

The breakfast was really good and there was a choice of both hot and cold dishes. The terrace was great for an evening drink and there was a fan in the room for some ventilation.

Nothing much really. The hotel was as advertised. We had paid in advance and everything was ready for us.
