Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good with a range of options. The room is basic but adequate and the bed is comfortable. There is a large walk-in shower. The hotel is perfectly located in the centre of town, not far from the railway station, bus station and shops., but also quite close to parks and countryside walks.

I don't like the new policy of asking us to use paper cups if we are taking hot drinks to our rooms. This prioritises housekeeping convenience above the comfort of residents and it does not make us feel like valued visitors, especially as the 'elaya' brand markets itself as a 'lifestyle' hotel that feels like 'home'. I never drink from paper cups at home! The hot drinks bar does not provide a decaffeinated coffee option. I know that decaf coffee sachets are on the market and these should be made available.

Many of the staff know us after so many visits. They are very friendly and helpful and we feel valued and respected. Thank you! The shaded outdoor space on the square was great in the hot weather. The air-con/Klima in the bedroom was brilliant in the heatwave. It stopped working once but the staff quickly fixed it! Decaffeinated coffee is now available in little sachets which is great!

Great hotel in the city center with a good range of services and high level of comfort. Breakfast is also very good. It is very nice that you can open the windows in case you don't want to use the air condition all the time. Very central location, at the same time I had a room facing a narrow street and it was not that bad in terms of noise.

The noise from the street, but it was actually less, than I expected.

We have been to this hotel many times and it always meets our needs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facilities are very good and the rooms & beds are warm and comfortable. The hotel is ideally situated for the town centre and the railway & bus stations.

The hotel does not provide decaffeinated coffee which I think is a serious omission when so many people now try to avoid caffeine. I understand that the current coffee machine can't produce decaffeinated coffee , but sachets of decaffeinated coffee could be made available alongside the wide range of teabags. The little pots of cafe crema are not really suitable to use in black tea and little pots of semi-skilled milk would be preferable.

We know this hotel very well now and we always stay here if it's available when we come to Goeppingen. Friendly & helpful staff, very convenient location, comfortable bed, effective aircon, good breakfast.

Being asked to use paper cups to take drinks to our room. It's not what I expect when I book a superior room! Morning tea doesn't taste right out of a paper cup!

Staff are friendly and helpful. We only had one breakfast but it was excellent. Nice to have outdoor sitting space in the square.

Since Elaya took over, hot chocolate is not available in the drinks machine except at breakfast time. This seems a strange decision. Another change: the shower gel & hand soap in the bathroom is a brand (Italian apparently) called 'Toilet Paper'! This sounds rather odd for an English person!

I love the central location. The staff are friendly and helpful. Peaceful, relaxed atmosphere in the hotel. Very good tea-making facilities. Very nice and accessible shower/bathroom.

There was only a 'superior' room available when I booked this time and I expected something on a different level than when I booked a 'standard' room last time. But the room was identical in every respect , except perhaps for an additional mattress topper on the bed and a very narrow 'balcony'/walk-way via a huge step up through the bedroom window. I certainly didn't feel this was worth paying extra for. It had the same inadequate storage facilities for clothing and personal items, especially for longer stays.

Tea/coffee-making facilities worked well. Great location, right in the town centre. Useful to have several entrances & exits for convenience. Outdoor tables in a very pleasant quiet square. There was always someone on reception. Peaceful, quiet hotel. Comfortable bed and bright, spacious room. Very good air-con during the heatwave.

We needed a plug in the bathroom basin but this wasn't possible. The wi-fi guidance could be clearer. For our longer stay, storage space for clothes and belongings was limited and awkward to access. A bedside cupboard would be more useful and a better use of space than a small stool.

The convenient location to what I was doing in Goppingen, the breakfasts were nice.

Would have liked a fridge in the room, but the reception staff were happy to provide ice for our drinks, the AC didn’t seem to be working the first couple of nights, but was fine the rest of our stay.

The location suited us extremely well, right in the center of town, in the vicinity of shops, restaurants and cafes, across from a parking area (available to hotel guests at a reasonable daily rate), next door to a fantastic gym (free for hotel guests), and the public library. The rooms were clean, and even without booking breakfast, we could use the coffee machine in the lobby around the clock (delicious coffee!). The hotel’s greatest asset is their staff who made us feel so very welcome during our two week stay. We thank each and everyone of them for going the extra mile :)

The wifi wasn’t great but it didn’t really bother us since everything else was so great!
