The hotel is located directly in front of Hauptbahnhof, which makes it incredibly convenient to reach right after arriving in the city. The room is super nice, offering just the right amount of space — not too big, but very comfortable! It perfectly matches my taste and meets my requests. The breakfast is exceptional, set in a pleasant atmosphere with a beautiful hall. It is also very clean, and the staff, including the attentive gardeners and the housekeeping team, are very professional and welcoming

One thing that surprised me was that the bathrobe is available for an additional charge. It’s not expensive — just 5 euros — but I was surprised, as in my bexperience, it’s usually complimentary in a 4-star hotel. Also, I was unable to get a comb, which was a bit inconvenient. So do nit forget your comb at home ! And be ready to pay extra money for the bath robe!😊

Property was superb. There was parking under the hotel. The rooms were perfect, the staff extremely friendly, the location was fantastic.

The pool was closed. We specifically booked the hotel because we havd kids that would have loved to have used the pool. The hotel suggested a ‘swim paradise’ only a short drive away, and they reimbursed our costs for the ‘swim paradise’. Because of the inconvenience of the pool being closed they also compt our parking! So there’s nothing that I can say that I didn’t like, the hotel did fantastic!

The room was relatively clean, but it felt a bit dated and could use some more recent renovations. It wasn't exactly newly renovated, which was somewhat disappointing. On a positive note, the entrance of the hotel is beautiful. The lobby and reception area are well-maintained and give a great first impression.

The pool area was quite unappealing. The pool itself was small and not very clean, and there was very little space around it, making the whole area look rather unattractive. We decided to skip swimming in the pool altogether.

Great location. A 7 minute walk from train station. Essentially across the street. The tourist sights are just outside its doors. Nice big room. Very clean. Strong internet signal. Wide hallways. Indoor pool and sauna. Very friendly staff. They did us 2 favors which we appreciated: found us an ice bucket to borrow and let us check out 30 minutes later. We would highly recommend this place.

Location and comfort

Service at reception- unfortunately they are not digitalised. You arrived and have to write with a pen your data, with the huge disappointment that the they ask again your data on departure and invoiced is not prepared. Had to reach another department because the lady at reception never sent the invoice in the next 12 following hours. So what can I say? Am Surprised such big hotel still works in such analogical way more typical of a pension than representing a 4 start hotel nationwide.

Although I didn't get a chance to experience the breakfast or bar facilities, I have no doubt they maintain the same high standards as the rest of the hotel. In summary, my stay at Maritim Hotel Magdeburg was a memorable and enjoyable one. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, and I look forward to returning in the future for another wonderful stay.

The hotel is located in the city of Magdeburg and has a convenient parking garage just beneath it. The hotel has a very "large and luxurious" feel about it, but in January we felt we were almost the only guests around. The suite room was very large and we found a bottle of wine, fruit and water in the room upon arrival. Friendly housekeeping staff.

The hotel and rooms feel a little bit dated and they were working on renovating the elevators which did not bother us at all. For the price nothing to complain about.

Loved the beds, bedsheets and pillows. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The dressing gown and coffee were a nice touch and much appreciated. We booked last minute when passing by on our road trip and it was a very smooth check in.

It’s clearly a conference hotel. There was some sort of card games convention and the participants overtook the common facilities and smoked by every exit / door to and from the hotel.

The location is excellent, very close to the train station. Facilities are excellent, including the indoor swimming pool. Room was spacious with good curtains, airconditioning and tea and coffee making facilities. There was also a bath tub and a good shower. Breakfast was fantastic.

The hotel is a bit dated.

we arrived very late due to a train delay but we were gladly surprised when we found out we got a room upgrade that we didn’t even request. the personnel were very efficient.

a woman without uniform knock our door telling us to leave 5 minutes before checkout time. we understand that’s the time limit. but i rather get a call to the room instead of an angry woman speaking angry german to me.
