The hotel is very beautiful, elegant, and tastefully done. The room was large and well furnished and the staff was super polite. The breakfast was really nice. Aesthetically presented and full of many items in a beautiful setting.

There was no air-conditioning in the room. Though the weather was cool, the provided comforter was winter-grade, so we felt very hot at night. Could have either provided lighter comforters or an AC. The bathroom was badly designed in that the shower section had only one glass panel. As a result the entire bathroom became a wet mess after bathing. The location is so-so, not much happening nearby.

Breakfast was amazing every day. Big selection of cold breakfast and small selection of hot stuff. It gets busy so go earlier before 9am. The deco of the hotel is great. Cozy Bavarian style but still really modern and new. We had the mezzanine family room for 5 of us where there was a queen bed and single bed down stairs and two single beds upstairs and it was perfect. Bathrooms are great very modern. It was really good value for what you pay - for 4 nights it was cheap for the quality of the room and its size and free breakfast. The gym was great with three treadmills, some weights etc. some restaurants within walking distance (we love the Asian fusion which is just 5 min walk away). Note that location is not close to the city - you walk 600m to the train Station (or take a short bus trip to the train station) and it’s then really quick a few stops to the Munic city centre. If you are thinking of driving (there is free parking on site) around in Bavaria (eg to dachau Camp, Neuschwanstein Castle etc) and only visiting Munich city once or twice (for which you can take the train in), then this is the perfect hotel.

Nothing - really good value and highly recommend

The hotel is very good. Seems a traditional one with the owner coming and saying hello at breakfast. You can enjoy a beer garden as well or a small terrace near reception open almost all the day. Staff is very well trained especially at the reception. Close to hotel you can find a quiet area with all you need including restaurants, coffee shop, fruits and even souvenirs. A bus takes you to subway station, or you can walk for 15min max. You can reach Marienplaz in about 30 minutes from hotel. A day group ticket of 5 costs 15euro. In the hotel is good and good variety as well. Family room we got is spacious with large bathroom and big dressing.

All was very good. Some would maybe prefer air conditioning. We have left window open and it was nice fresh air.

The rooms were spacious and clean and the included breakfast was nice. One of the first places we've traveled to in Europe. Where the king bed was actually one bed instead of two pushed together which was really nice!

The parking situation at the hotel was really rough. Unfortunately not much of the fault of the hotel, but many people had double parked or parked so badly that we could barely fit into a spot. It would be nice if the hotel would manage the parking situation a little better and maybe enforce people actually parking in one space so that everyone has room to park.

It was great. I enjoyed the food and the stay. The location is peaceful and there are many things within walking distance. Very clean and cosy.

I just wish the restaurant was open on Monday too. I got there Monday evening looking forward to their renowned food but I had to wait until Tuesday. Maybe a reduced menu room service facility as an option for the hotel guests on Monday? Also I had a bit of trouble opening the main door and I had to be helped. I am a 67 years old man, perhaps it was me that was too weak?

This hotel is gorgeous, we would love to return for longer and use it as a convenient base for exploring more. It is on the metro line (subway line 4 direct to Marienplatz, I think?). Very easy to get into the centre anyway! Food in the hotel's 'beer garden' was delicious also. Our double room (with a mezzanine floor to additional single beds for children) was really beautiful. Lovely bathroom products (Rituals). The bar area and generous refreshments in reception including free packets of Haribos - I had a delighted teenager - were excellent. The coffee station on the first floor was a really lovely touch.

I noticed the room didn't have an iron, but didn't need to use one enough to ask Reception. Am absolutely sure they'd have provided me with one instantly if I'd asked! 😀

Excellent room and lovely staff. Typical single beds and single doonas. Nice decor and light filled rooms was very pleasant. Onsite parking was exceptionally easy and onsite restaurant with great staff and service was the best food I have ever eaten in Munich including BETTER than the food at the Spatenhaus!!! I travel to Munich to see my aunt and will now stay here EVERY trip! Easy to reach city centre via nearby S-bahn (S4 and S6), great local shops meters away in Trudering for all your needs.

Charming mix of traditional style and modern comforts. Great location in a residential neighbourhood so you get the feeling of what it's like to live in the area. Great breakfast - often including cheesecake!

I had a ground floor room that faced the car park which was less private than I would like ideally liked. Cars were parked very close to the windows so often felt the need to keep the curtains completely closed even during the day. Would request a room on an upper floor or facing the back next time.

We had an early flight in. They were very welcoming while we waited for our room. We were offered welcome drinks and were able to get in our room a little early. The breakfast was the best, most variety of our entire trip!

Our bathroom light was automatic. It was annoying at night when someone went to the restroom and the light would automatically turn on. (And door was glass) It took a few seconds to them turn off after someone left.

Professionally run place with a lot of history and culture to the property. Traditional setting with modern amnesties and a lot of culture. The location is good to travel from with the train station a good 12 min walk away and a bus stop right at the front. A rustic restaurant with traditional food worth rating highly for taste and serving size.
