Great location less than 10 min from the center and most of the bike trails start nearby. Since it’s by the road and we had our windows towards the street and open during the night, we thought maybe we would hear the traffic or even the river, but it was not the case during the night (traffic started around 7.30 and was not too loud). The price includes the Chiemgau karte, but we didn’t use it. Bathroom was very spacious and had all the amenities. Very good variety of snacks and drinks available for purchase. Even though the room was not so big, all our things fit well. A choice of two pillows, one of which was a bit firmer.

I personally prefer a firmer bed. The room had a soft bed. The room didn’t have ventilation. So being a smaller room we had to keep our windows open all the time to avoid the air getting stuffy. We kept our windows open (the upper part) also when we were out and thankfully nobody broke in 🙂

A lovely small hotel with the personal attention of the owners when we arrived helping us to park and giving us all the info we needed for our stay. Our room was an attic room with a balcony view of the mountains and a modern bathroom with everything we needed. We particularly liked the downstairs common / sitting room where you could help yourself to free hot drinks and there were snack and drinks to purchase. As others have said a superb breakfast in the morning - much better than some large chain hotels we have been to and a great little restaurant just up the road for an evening meal.

The attic room had a low sloping roof over the bed and exposed joists meant we needed to watch our heads.

This was our second time to stay here and we were not disappointed. It is the perfect location for visiting this area of Germany. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. The owner is extremely helpful to recommend sights to see and places to eat. She made our meal reservations all 4 nights we were there...and each place was excellent. It was a short and easy walk into town which was nice.

Everything was amazing, the only downside was, we were traveling with all adults and we shared 1 bathroom - meaning when I had to go to the bathroom during the night I had to go through the bedroom of my brother and his wife. I would have liked to know this in advance.

We loved everything about this hotel/pension. The location is great, everything was exceptionally clean, the rooms were very comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. The owner provided us with excellent recommendations for restaurants the 2 nights we were there and she even made our reservations. Our only regret is that we should have stayed longer.

The coziest stay i could have imagine. Breakfast was superb, room was spacious and had big wardrobes and umbrellas. The locations was just perfect for hiking just up or down the river or in the mountains.

Unfortunately we could stay for just one night :( That's about all about bad things that I can say

Breakfast and location were great! We especially liked our hosts and the roominess of our accomodations. We appreciated the availability of cold drinks and snacks from the snack room any time we wanted.

Can’t think of a thing

Beautiful location, yet not too far from the highway. The room was very nice! The breakfast buffet was well organized and enjoyable. The fact that there was also an electric vehicle charging station made it absolutely perfect.

The professional and friendly communication prior to arrival. The accommodation was spotless and the location brilliant - walks outside the door and easy stroll to a lovely nearby restaurant with great views. Breakfast was excellent and there was a side room for being able to have your dog with you. We were just sorry that we were not able to stay longer.

Really nice hotel in a beautiful area, clean rooms, great breakfast including gluten-free options. Also very convenient that there is a charger right outside the hotel. We’ll be back soon!
