Everything at the hotel was top quality. Check-in was smooth, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simply perfect. The lounge was very pleasant with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was spacious and comfortable, offering a phenomenal view of the lake. The bathroom was good, though a walk-in shower, for example, would have made it feel a bit more modern. There were plenty of safe parking spaces, both indoor and outdoor, and they were remarkably large. The location is fantastic, with many recreational activities within walking distance of the hotel. Numerous sightseeing attractions are easily reachable by car. Some reviews mention that the hotel feels old-fashioned, but I think people fail to recognize that the hotel’s aesthetic perfectly complements the surrounding Black Forest landscape.

Obviously, as the other reviews said, the breakfast was pretty amazing. The location could not be any better - perfect for summer or winter. The (indoor heated) pool and spa were very nice. The staff were very helpful. The room was spacious. I was very satisfied with the pice-->value.

The reservation said a single queen size bed, but it was instead 2 twin beds pushed together... and if you rolled over into the crack in between them at night, the beds would slide apart, and you'd sink to the floor. There was also a fold up twin bed in the room that I neither asked for, nor was in the description when I reserved the room and it made the area next to the balcony sort of awkward to maneuver around.

Location, right next to the lake, private area near the lake. View over lake, spacious room. First hotel where I can say that there was enough towels in the room. They also provided smaller bathrobe for a child. Big balcony. There was washing rack in the room, so you could dry your clothes in the balcony. Inner pool was also ok. You can sun bathe near the lake.

Breakfast area was quite busy during mornings, plates were missing often and you had to wait when they bring more plates. There should be more convienient way to enter the lake, small beidge eg.

Amazing view of the lake, very comfortable room with great beds and pillows, very clean and quiet. The pool was great and also the sauna.

The restaurant is too expensive for the quality of food they serve. I ordered a steak with fries and i got a dry piece of meat with fries out of a frozen bag, no sauce except cheap ketchup and mayo from a bottle and no salad. Same for my wife who ordered a burger which was dry and flavourless. Sadly there seem to be no restaurants that serve dinner in the area (at least we didn't find any on google maps) so the hotel probably exploits this. The breakfast was fine with a good selection.

stayed here a few times now and its a great place to stay around the lake. Easily the best hotel location in town. Rooms are modern and clean and very comfortable.Leisure facilities are good with a nice indoor pool and also a huge garden alongside the lake - its such a relaxing place to be. Finally, being on a motorcycle tour, i also value the underground car park for security. love this place.

not much to be honest - there's not much to dislike. My daughter didn't eat much at breakfast, but that reflects her eating habits more than the breakfast spread.

Right on the lakeside, this efficient and modern hotel has all of the comfort and facilities required for a family break. Not much charm, but that doesn’t take much away from the whole effect. We had a family room with 3 beds which was ideal for a short stay. The resort is beautiful by the lake and we would love to return to the Black Forest for a week’s cycling or hiking. We didn’t have dinner as we arrived too late but the breakfast was five star!

The breakfast was very good. I was ordering for the omelette with onion and it was excellent made as asked. I also liked the arrangements of the breakfast area all the containers they used for the buffet breakfast awesome. Thank u very much for the upgrade. The best thing was pool was 24*7 and location was awesome.

There was only one and small swimming pool.

Lovely to have a beach area for hotel guests. Lovely hotel room with fridge to use. Comfortable bed and pillows. Good breakfast. Brilliant to get a card with free local transport and another which gave free entrance to lots of attractions including theme parks and mini golf (if you stayed for 2 or more nights). A real bonus.

We would have liked tea making facilities in the room. I think parking should have been free for the hotel price.

The lake view from the room was incredible and the room as well as the other hotel facilities (restaurant, pool) were spotless! Great breakfast as well with many options. Baby crib was provided upon request before arrival.

Considering the already-high cost per night, I would expect parking at the private outdoor parking to be free and to just require some payment for the underground option. Secondly, again considering the value we got for the price we paid, it would be nice to have some newer furniture and maybe some USB ports next to each side of the bed.

Great location, good pool and sauna in the hotel. Pleasant rooms, decent beds. Breakfast spread was very good with a lot of options. The inhouse cafe and bar is also very nice. Best part the location on the hotel, on the lake shores, convenient to just walk around.

The food for dinner in the restaurant was pretty average for the price. Drinks in the bar were nice though. The rooms does not have air conditioning, so in summers i believe it will be tough.
