Location to Triberg was ideal, and views were spectacular. We had a double room and 2 beds in the lounge, perfect for a family of 4. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodated an early check in. Offered advice on what to do/where to visit. City Pass included for all days for local attractions. Breakfast was included and was your standard continental offer with some eggs/bacon in addition. Parking was available immediately outside hotel but was tight and only for about 5 cars, we parked on the street and there was plenty of free parking available. Netto or Edeka supermarket in town for cheaper food options if required.

Could really do with a fridge in the room as provided tea/coffee making facilities but if you wanted to purchase any drinks/food there was no where to keep them cool. WiFi was included but very intermittent and often didn’t work, depending on location in hotel. Not a downside but an advisory the hotel sits high so walking up from the town is a choice of 3 different slopes, one of which is quite steep! Not for the faint hearted.

5 stars from my side. - Super comfortable - Super friendly staff - Super clean - Bed is great - The view is breathtaking - see photo (all rooms have the same view, so don't worry about not having a view) - Close to super market I absolutely LOVE this place. It made me feel as if I was home, so comfortable it is. I can easily choose to stay here again.

Can't lie, there are two things you should be aware. 1. If you don't come by car, you'll have to walk uphill a bit from the bus stop. There is a bus from the train station to Marktplaz (550) that goes halfway, so you don't have to walk from the train station like Google Maps indicates. 😉 2. There's no fridge in the room.

A large room with a balcony with space for a table and 2 chairs, plus a bay window, so plenty of views and light. The shower room was modern and very clean. Our room was on the end of a floor with great views over the town and the church. We enjoyed having the swimming pool to ourselves on a wet afternoon and although there are plenty of restaurants in town we really enjoyed an evening meal at the hotel. We paid for garage parking as we had bicycles with us.

Nothing. A typically German hotel in terms of decor etc. If you don’t like a steep walk into and out of town then this isn’t the hotel (or town) for you!

The hotel is gorgeous! Worth your time and money! We had a balcony room overlooking the town. The evening view was absolutely romantic and the morning view beautiful! Everyone deserves an experience like this! The price was worth it and not too expensive. They have a gym, sauna, pool on site. The room was beautiful and beds comfortable! Breakfast was delicious. If you want to take a look at the town, you can sit outside where they have tables. You can even eat and have drinks outside too. Parking in the garage is an additional fee. Parking in the street in front of hotel is an option. Which many do but space is limited. This town is worth stopping by! People are friendly and speak many different languages, a little bit of English is one of them.

Breakfast is not included in the price. Which I thought during check in they said dinner was available but with a charge and breakfast included. We had breakfast not knowing it was not included till check out. In the original confirmation It did explain the prices. I misunderstood the staff at checkin. If had known, I think I would have slept in longer in the comfortable beds. Nonetheless, food and services is above exceptional!

Pet friendly!!!!! Yesss, It is; the owners love dogs and their two 4-legged treasures are amazing. (Attention, the dog cannot enter the breakfast room!!) Spacious room, comfortable bed, balcony, large bathroom, very rich breakfast, clean hotel. There is also a swimming pool and children's playground. Hotel is located 9 minutes walk from the center, fantastic. If you come with your dog there are lots of very beautiful Trails to do.

Amazing views for the Black Forest from the balcony. Great room with a double and 2 single beds over 2 rooms, perfect for a family. Staff were really helpful, including in the restaurant. good breakfast and dinner options. Close to the waterfalls and we walked to the giant cuckoo clock a great walk through the forest. Pool was an added bonus.

Very nice spacious room in Triberg. Very close to the waterfall and many different hikes. Literally 5 minutes away. Nice views from the balcony. Nice Restaurant. Very clean and well run hotel. Comfy bed.

I could have done with a small fridge in the room. I only had net curtains and two small curtains on one window sometimes felt I didn't have much privacy at night when I"d got the light on.

The room was very good. Spacious and comfortable. Everything was clean but the view from the first floor room was not that great. The hotel staff were very helpful always. Breakfast was excellent. The most important thing was that the wifi was very good w.r.t a hotel. I've never found hotel wifi this good. One can't compare it with ones home but for hotel standards it's simply excellent.

Nothing was bad in any way. the only thing which can be better is the temperature of the water in the pool. It was just a bit too cold to be comfortable for a relaxing swim.

We had a 2 night stay as part of a road trip from the UK to Croatia…. we were given an apartment on the top floor which had 2 large rooms, a balcony, a shower room and separate bathroom - so plenty of space for us all :) Having an indoor pool was a real bonus after a long drive The location is up a hill so if you walk you are breathing well by the top, but Triberg it’s self is a lovely place to visit - waterfalls are beautiful, plenty of places to eat and drink, picturesque town to stroll around The staff were really friendly and looked after us well. We ate dinner in the hotel and the choice was good as was the quality… loved the vinyl record collection displayed on the wall too :)
