Only two negatives about this stay: 1. the fact that they didn’t change the sheets on a daily basis. The beds would be made but when you pull the duvet back there was sand all over the sheets from our kids feet the night before. 2. I asked over the phone months before arrival if we can check in early, because we were arriving from a far, we were told yes no problem, but when we got to the hotel they charged us $25 early check in fee, which wasn’t mentioned on the phone call. So it was either sit in the parking lot for 3hrs and wait or pay the $25.

Breakfast was good, as was the room and bed. All was as can be expected from a typical Best Western hotel. The swimming pool is great, and although we did not use it, there is also a fittness room, all included in the price.

When we arrived the reception told us that our booking (through the booking website) had not come through, and we booked another room, and made payment for it. Fair play on the hotel to make this happen. However, when arriving back home we were nevertheless debited on our credit card, for our initial booking, and we ended up paying twice. This was probably an honest mistake from the hotel, since when contacting the hotel, they reimbursed us (albeit they reimbursed the lower booking.com rate, and not our payment on the day of arrival). Please be aware that these hickups can happen if you book, and check your credit card statements!

Facilities were incredibly clean, roomy and updated. The staff was kind and helpful, and made me feel very welcome. Breakfast looked wonderful, but I was unable to try it due to dietary restrictions. Otherwise, no complaints! Plus, I love that there's a little convenience shop next to the front desk. This came in great handy while travelling as I'm notorious for forgetting little things!

The only room available in my price range was a wheelchair accessible unit. While it was beautiful, I found it to be a bit noisy as it was situated directly in front of the elevator, and the automatic door did not have as flush of a seal around the edges to dampen the noise from the common areas. That said, proximity to the elevator and the smooth threshold through the door entrance ensures that it's easy to get to for anyone in a wheelchair.

Nice new facility - everything new. Breakfast good. Location good: Walmart, Dollarama, banks, Tims, etc all within a few mins walk or a few blocks by car (Original "Downtown" and hiking trails a couple of KM west on Bowes). Hotel close off Highway 400 too. Note that the hotel is "pet friendly" so you are likely to see dogs in the lobby. There are EV chargers out front (Level 2) and a Tesla/NACS high-speed charger (Level 3) a block or two east, on Louisa St (driveway just past the PetroCan/Starbucks, north of Bowes).

I really liked the breakfast. There was a variety of breakfast foods to choose from. It was a good hearty breakfast to start the day. The beverages had variety which was great. Having access to coffee whenever was awesome!

The first morning I had breakfast was good. The second morning was good, but not as good as the first day. The food was just a bit dry, perhaps the heating units were on too high. Other than that, great breakfast choices.

I liked the location it was just outside of town and the bar restaurant was good the food great and a nice cozy place with good music

They were supposed to clean every other day but at end of our stay not to sure they come to clean we had some garbage and the beds were not made or changed and there was a small gap at the bottom of the door which let in a cold breeze and left the room kind of chilly

This is a top-notch hotel. Everything new, clean, modern. We had room with 2 queen beds, very comfortable. Tv with cable, coffee maker, fridge. Heater/ac unit works perfectly. We tried the pool, amazing experience. They have a gym as well. Breakfest excellent as well..egg omelets, patties..everything tasty. Hotel is in an excellent location. Right behind hotel is walmart,dollarama, marks. Then there is a lot of pizzas, mcdonalds,subway ( i recommend caribbean resto 3 min far by car)

Hotel is newly renovated or built and it looks great. The lobby and the rooms are all in great condition and very well maintained. Great location. Quite Hotel. Free parking. Gym and Pool.

I didn't like the fact that we paid for two nights and wanted to take advantage of the hotel's pool but the pool was closed without prior notice for maintenance. The staff should at least mention when you book the room that they have a scheduled pool maintenance. we would have canceled our reservation. we did not even get back a discount.

The location is central to everything! Walkable to whatever you might need and a short drive (4-5mins) from the marina, beach, dock, and park. Loved that the hotel is pet friendly! For a pet friendly hotel, the room is modern and new which is a wonderful surprise considering that pet friendly hotels in Ontario are usually not well kept and don't have amenities/stylistic decor. The swimming pool and fitness area were great - super clean and not busy even over the weekend. All staff were EXTREMELY friendly and even accommodated a late check out for us.

There were two massive flat screens in the room but no smart connection abilities to Netflix or anything unless you had an HDMI and a laptop, which isn't ideal. Also, breakfast would run out earlier than the time depending on how many people came before you to grab it which again, not ideal. Would've liked extra coffee pods in the room, we had to ask for more because there weren't that many initially. But none of these were deal breakers :)

Exceptionally clean location and a friendly staff. Most interaction was with the breakfast staff and they were super friendly while making sure everyone had what they required plus clearing and sanitizing tables/chairs when folks left. Front desk staff very professional and helpful also

Although there are many fast food restaurants around the location there is a lack of a decent sit-down restaurant in the area. There a quite a few in the downtown area of Parry Sound but requires using the car to get there.
