The location of the hotel is fantastic - tram station directly outside and metro just a couple of minute's walk away. Central Amsterdam is walkable too, but the general area around the hotel is really great. The hotel room itself was small as expected, but its cosy and perfectly functional and had everything we needed. Shower pressure is really good. The best thing about the hotel though is the staff, especially Diane. Really responsive, helpful and friendly, she just made our stay so much more enjoyable. We'll be back for sure!

Just be wary if you're sensitive to noise from other rooms. It didn't bother us at all but it was noticeable.

Perfect location. I ve visited Amsterdam for an exhibition at RAI and it was so easy to reach to Rai, Airport and City Center with only one dircet tram which is next to hotel. My first room was a panthouse but it was so clostrophobic but the staff helped me and changed it to a flat room with a good view. They were very helpful. This was my second stay at that hotel and for my future visits I will prefer this hotel if the prices will not be so expensive

Voice of trams coming to room all day and night except some hours after midnight. Bath is difficult to use, there is a half glass dor for shower and since the bathroom is very small all floor gets wet when you took a shower

We had a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in the heart of Amsterdam. The building is older and full of character, nestled right at a major intersection—so yes, you’ll hear the street trolleys going by, but it’s all part of the city’s energy, and the easy access to transportation more than makes up for it. The location is fantastic—walking distance to the major museums, great restaurants, and right across the street from a lovely park. This area is one of the older parts of Amsterdam, and the surrounding neighborhood architecture is absolutely beautiful. We had rooms in two different parts of the hotel. Our adult children stayed in a loft-style room up a steep staircase that felt more like a ladder—such a classic Amsterdam touch. We stayed in a suite in the older part of the building, with soaring ceilings (maybe four meters high!) and big windows that looked out onto the park. It was spacious, bright, and full of charm. The suite also had a cozy little living room area, which made it feel even more comfortable. The staff were wonderful—very accommodating, and they even let us check in several hours early, which we really appreciated after a long travel day. We loved the playful and inviting vibe of the lobby and had a drink or two at the cute little bar. The only downside was the breakfast—not great, and not included in the price. Overall, this was a lovely place to stay. The rooms were nicely updated, the beds comfortable, and the experience felt authentic and memorable. We’d happily return!

I liked the staff, the kitchen and the shower.

The hallway and stairs leading to the lofts were creepy and dirty.

This hotel was everything we needed for 48 hours in Amsterdam. I did a lot of research prior to the trip to make sure we were quite close to what we wanted to do. There is a tram stop opposite and across the road that made getting around so easy, but also restaurants and bars are within walking distance. You can download the tram app and pay €9.50 for a 24-hour pass, and you can hop on and off as many times as you want. We had a small double room, which was small but we didn't need anything more. It was just enough to wash and sleep in. I originally booked a basement room and the team messaged prior to the trip to let me know and gave me the option to upgrade so that we had a window in the room, which I thought was very nice and helpful! The room and shower room was lovely and clean, towels and hairdryer provided. There is a little bar in reception and do good coffee in the morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were very lucky with the weather too, which made the trip even better... We will be more than happy to stay here again Thankyou 😊

We are from Malaysia. The hotel Location is very strategic. Very convenient to walk to the nearest tram station, which is right infront of hotel. You can roam around the city just by trams. For metro (train) you will have to walk about 10mins to reach the station. Very close by to the canal & have a nice city view. If you dont want to take the breakfast package, you can always find the nearest coffee shop infront of the hotel, literally everywhere. Very nearby to Halal restaurants as well. The staff who greet us was very friendly. He let us keep our baggage first, before we can checked in, as we arrived very early in the morning. We booked 1 loft and 1 standard room. We loved the loft the most, which has complete house stuffs like kitchenette and microwave. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

There is no coffee maker or kettle inside the standard room. You can only get them if you booked the Loft.

We loved this room for our stay, it was a small room that we had but we were really happy with it. The bed was very comfy and everything was very clean. It was also lovely to come back in the evening to find that they had tidied the bed and replaced towels. This is the perfect room for going to amsterdam as you're more than likely going to be out all day so to come back to a clean and cool (temperature) room, it was so lovely. The staff as well are some of the loveliest people you will meet. Always smiling and happy to see you! As for the location, it is a perfect walking distance from lots of restaurants and also the market! Also near some really lovely parks that we spent a lot of time in!

There was nothing we didn't like!

The staff were nice and helpful. The loft room was fantastic, spacious and clean. It was a pleasant stay and I would likely stay there again.

The stairs to the lofts were a struggle at times, coming back after long walks or at 3am! And we were right on the top. The loft rooms and the entrance to them are just around the corner from the main hotel entrance. Didn't really bother us, but worth noting. Also the TV aerial was broken and as we were only there for one night, we couldn't get maintenance or a replacement TV.

I had a great stay at the hotel. And the staff was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. They were always available to answer my questions. I had the breakfast, and it was great, served on a etagere. It had everything you need for a great start into your day of lots of walking in Amsterdam. The location is great - not in the middle of Amsterdam, hence, it is quiet at night. But everything important can easily be reached by foot or the conveniently located tram and bus station, just around the corner. I can recommend the hotel.

I was in the hotel in summer and it was relatively warm in the city. The room has no AC and the room was very warm, even though I kept the shades closed during the day. I could keep the window open at night and the hotel provided a fan. But it was still quite warm, also at night. That was a bit frustrating, in an otherwise great stay.

Reception staff were super friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Diane was so lovely and gave us lots of top tips and made us very welcome and check in and checkout was seamless. They let us borrow an umbrella, gave us stroopwaffles when we left, and looked after our luggage all day. We had the BEST nights sleep and the room was very clean, the perfect temperature and very well provisioned. Extremely comfortable bed and I can say that we would definitely stay here again. Extra pillows were available, the hairdrier was decent, the bluetooth radio was a lovely touch, shower was strong and hot, big TV, everything was fabulous!
