I stayed at Das Himberg for three nights while waiting for the train connection I needed to open back up after the horrible storms that were rocking central Europe days before. While it was not cheap, it totally made up with being comfortable and having a fantastic 5/5 stars breakfast that was included with the nightly fee. The location is fine if you have business in Himberg, and the connection to Vienna Hbf is quite convenient with an 8 minute walk to the Himberg local railway and a short train ride to the city center. If come back to visit Vienna as a tourist, I may choose Das Himberg again.

I did not appreciate that having a small fridge in your room cost and extra 20 Euro per night and that the hotel wifi was as bad as it was. The connection was quite slow and there were several webpages for work that I had to access through data on my phone because the hotel connection was flagged by my organization. However, it was there and it was free, and that counts for something. But I should note that the wifi was only slightly worse than most public wifi in the EU.

We only stayed one night on our way to Vienna airport. Himberg itself is not a pretty town, but it’s practical, and a 20 min drive to airport. A little complicated to get to Vienna centre using public transport but not impossible. Spotless hotel, modern, pleasant interiors, amazing breakfast as everyone says in the comments, and fab Rituals soaps, conditioner and body cream in the bathrooms! Lots of parking too.

Everything was nice, room is clean and cosy, spacious enough, breakfast is very good, we really enjoyed our stay

The only one thing - the hotel is located right in front of the gas station and in the evening we felt a fuel smell. Later weather became very windy and it solved the problem. But for those who have breathing issues, this detail can be important

We came for a tennis tournament. The hotel was 10min drive from the tournament and within walking distance to the towns restaurants. Breakfast was really good. The rooms are lovely and a nice size. The staff at reception were really friendly and so were the staff at breakfast as well as the people cleaning the rooms.

Very good hotel in a small town. The rooms are modern, everything is new, there is a kitchen with a stove, coffee machine and refrigerator. Very comfortable mattresses. In the bathroom all accessories are from Rituals, there is even hand cream. The breakfast is very tasty, with a large assortment, tea, cocoa and coffee Julius Meinl. Entry by cards. If you return late, the doors to the hotel itself can also be opened using a card from your room. Parking in the hotel yard is free.

Terrific location 15 minutes to Vienna Airport. The room was spotless and large with a great shower. Parking was free. Staff was helpful and gave us help with restaurant a quick walk away for dinner. The breakfast was wonderful with lovely indoor or outdoor seating. Would stay there again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! It's one of the best hotels I've ever visited. The atmosphere is luxurious, and the staff are exceptionally friendly and professional. The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this hotel and would like to thank the staff and management for their excellent service

Very clean room. The blinds completely prevent sun light into the room. There is AC which is very important in summer time. Variety of breakfast options. Very good icecream shop and burger restaurant nearby.

There is no small refrigerator or telephone in the room

The hotel is comfortable, the free parking is an advantage, but it was full at night. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of options

For us it wasn't a problem, but there's no staff at the reception overnight. You have to use the room cards to enter the hotel

Really great and friendly staff, the room was very nice and comfortable, and the breakfast was exceptional. Also free parking was provided. This will be my new go-to hotel for a stay before or after a flight at the Vienna airport! Loved the stay!
