We loved our stay at Sonesta Lima! The hotel is beautiful, and the neighborhood was perfect — it really helped us enjoy Lima even more. The overall experience was very positive, and we appreciated the comfort and quality throughout.

While we really enjoyed our time here, we actually preferred our stay at Sonesta Cusco, even though it's a 4-star hotel. One small detail that stood out was the lack of a thorough introduction or welcome guidelines in Lima (like breakfast times or pool access), which we did receive in Cusco. That might just be a 5-star expectation on our end, though — in any case, it didn’t take away from the great experience.

The Sonesta Hotel El Olivar in Lima, Peru, provided an exceptional experience during my stay. From start to finish, the service was outstanding. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with anything I needed, making me feel truly valued as a guest. The breakfast buffet was a highlight of my visit. It featured both Peruvian and American options, catering to a wide variety of tastes. Every dish I tried was delicious, and the quality was top-notch. One of the best features was the availability of custom-made eggs and omelets, prepared just the way I liked them. The rooms were equally impressive. They were extremely clean, spacious, and well-maintained with both comfortable beds and furnature for sitting. I appreciated the thoughtful design and the large size. The hotel also had an incredible rooftop pool with panoramic views of the city. It was the perfect place to unwind while taking in the breathtaking scenery of San Isidro and Lima. The location of the hotel being next to a park offered a beautiful and tranquil setting, while still being close to key attractions and business hubs in the city. Waking up to such a nice environment, combined with the stunning views from the rooftop, truly made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend the Sonesta Hotel El Olivar to anyone visiting Lima. The combination of delicious food, spacious and spotless rooms, gorgeous views, and the extremely helpful and welcoming staff made this a wonderful hotel experience. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay.

The hotel was very nice with excelent breakfast so many options. I loved it. Room is big as you can see on the photos, Id recommend for anyone.

The hotel despite being 5 star, it doesn’t look like 5 star, it not new as 5 star hotel. Other thing that I didn’t like was the treatment with me when I came with me girlfriend. I arrived like 01:30 am and i wasn’t received with good impression, the guy in front at the desk didn’t say about the gym, breakfast hour, these kind of stuffs, I thought he was with sleep. Try better mate.

A great business hotel located in a pleasant side-street across from the el Olivar park/greenspace. The on-site restaurant is good, and there are a lot of restaurants within a couple minute walk if you want more variety. The Internet was rock-solid during my stay and no difficulty with teleconferencing or video streaming. Has a central marble staircase that make a great work-out returning to one's room after the expansive breakfast.

The staff would come by about 18:00 (6pm) offering freshly baked cookies. I can't eat them (celiac), which made me sad because they looked delicious.

Amazing 3 days at this hotel. Staff were very helpful and room was spacious and clean. Good little gym and lots of choices for the breakfast. Highly recommend and was a great location that felt safe with alot of dining around. Only little thing I'd recommend is to let people know about the afternoon tea and cookies at the lobby, and also recommend not packing juice in a paper cup for those leaving early with take away breakfast as it leaked everywhere.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast, spacious room and bathroom. Were able to hold our luggage as we arrived before check in. Have a decent gym upstairs and pool. Provided complimentary snack to the rooms every afternoon.

We loved the neighbourhood, but if you’re looking for a stay right by all the touristy spots, you may want to book a different neighbourhood. We liked the location a lot but did have to uber to most places.

The location was amazing! Loved going to the olive bushes and the pond with colourful fishes and turtles across the road. The staff were most helpful and brought the most delicious cookies to the room in the afternoon. The buffet breakfast was excellent and the buffet lunch was great! Everything we ate there was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. I recommend this place!

Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of fruit and all possible options. The room was very big and specious! The location next to the el Olivar park I was upscale, very lush and green, quiet with lots of security police due to many embassies in the area We enjoyed the pool on top of the hotel with its relaxing atmosphere.

Very comfortable and large executive twin room - super clean and nice, safe, peaceful location close to all the action in Barranca and Miraflores. Great customer service, would stay here again.
