We loved our stay however my child is autistic and has a restrictive diet. We had originally booked a room with kitchenette as we needed a fridge freezer and cooking facilities to feed our child but we were given royal family level which was excellent however it was not suitable for our requirements. I would Definitely stay again royal level if the rooms were equipped with at least a fridge freezer. All of our child’s food had gone off due to storing in The minibar which isn’t suitable for keeping diary and meat cold. Only drinks. So we really struggled to feed our child at the complex even though we were all inclusive he wouldn’t eat the hotel food. So he was extremely hungry. It would be amazing if a fridge freezer would be in the total level rooms instead of a minibar.

The hotel rather looks like a small village with individual bungalows in a landscape with local trees and bushes, all well maintained and tidy. Expect walking times up to 10 minutes to get where you want to. Staff is friendly, the pool area is rather large - it was no problem to find a lounger. Breakfast offers the usual options and there is ample space in the main buffet restaurant. You can also use all of the amenities of the neighbouring Barceló Mar hotel. The spa is at the other end of the area covered by the two hotels (massages were good both technically as well as the secluded atmosphere in the rooms). The bungalows feature a large living room with a table and chairs as well as a couch, a small kitchen with a refrigerator and a microwave oven in addition to the usual kitchenware, a bathroom and a sleeping room. The terrace has another table with chairs and 2 sun loungers. If you prefer not to eat in the hotel's restaurants then you will find shops and restaurants throughout Caleta de Fuste, some 15 minutes walk away. The local bus stop is a 20 minutes walk with frequent connections to the island's capital and central bus station.

If you travel alone and enjoy your breakfast at the buffet restaurant then you should look for a strategically located table. This means quick access to food and drinks so that you do not have to abandon your plate for a longer time, waiters are quick in cleaning up everything. The hotel offers animation and you should expect the staff to walk around the pool area every hour asking everyone if they want to join any activities. These activities take place at the pool area a few times per day accompanied by loud music. If you've heard about the hotel's bar "El Faro" in the lighthouse at the port - unfortunately it is closed currently.

Location, the Spar, close to the airport, options for meal choices, 3 buffet restaurants, a nice upgrade to the Royal level , Sunbed towels great idea. Very comfortable beds.

We had an upper floor apartment, but there was no hand rail, just steps which my wife found awkward, not very safe if you have a knee problem. It was a non-smoking facility, which we found a bit discriminating. We were also put in a family section so a bit disappointed being two adults only. No WiFi connection possible, apparently a faulty system which did not get rectified.

The hotel is nice. Lots of choice of places to eat, a spa, decent sized pool. Our room was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The whole resort was very clean. The beach area was nice and yellow sand rather than black. The resort had a good amount of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Alcoholic drinks in the hotel bars seemed reasonably priced.

We paid extra to have a Junior Suite duluxe with sea view and hot tub. I chose this room type because it had a terrace with sunbeds it and I had read the reviews saying there are not enough sunbeds for the number of guests at the pool (definitely true). But our room (3025) and those alongside it did not get any sun on the terrace at any time during our stay (December). So it was completely pointless and a waste of money because the area could not be used for sunbathing. So if you are thinking of doing this, don't.

The property was clean, the rooms were large and modern and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Great location and good outlook over the beach and sea from the pool.

The only slight issue was that we were given a free meal in one of the restaurants as our room wasn’t ready after our arrival. There was a mix up and they tried to charge us for the meal on check out. We got it resolved and didn’t have to pay. It’s a very minor issue and it wasn’t really a problem, just one of those things.

Good beach, good size room, decent food

Segregation of guest within 1 complex of 4*hotel for choices of restaurants, segregation within 1 restaurant, creating class devision so ate with my friends & family in the lower class restaurant, I was on a royalty class but ment I had to eat alone so rejected the notion. Separated into gated zones with access to beach and other facilities depending on the wrist band so I wouldn't recommend booking separately to join family & friends. Book together not to be disappointed. Everything else was good, staff were great. Free parking etc...

Amazing All inclusive facilities, especially the marina bar. Right next to the beach, sister hotel next door, all included and 2 Al a carte dinners also included for the weeks stay. Excellent drinks, cocktails are "real" and taste amazing. Food is delicious, so much choice! The staff are lovely and the bungalows are luxurious and immaculate!

Absolutely zero complaints at all. If I had to find anything, I would say the waste bin storeage along the road front bungalows, opposite reception could do with moving but thats the only thing!

Hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble. We wanted a week to relax so didn't use too many of the facilities but what we used we loved.

There wasn't much to dislike and only mentioning it but it didn't affect our stay. 2 small points, complex is across a number of different options, adults only, villas, hotel etc and we were not really that clear on what we were allowed to use. Second point which was the hotels fault but there were a small number of young locals that hung around the walk way from the hotel to town and did make you feel uneasy. Again no reflection on the hotel as this had security on some nights and the complex felt safe.

The resort is nice, lots of green spaces and just beautiful to walk around. Pools were heated and with salt water, which we liked. Food was good, but breakfast selection could do with more fruits and maybe freshly squeezed juices instead of concentrate ones. All in all a good stay, particularly our room which was more of a bungalow, with its' little terrace were we could enjoy in the evenings.

Staff at the gelatto places were very rude, had to wait about 10 minutes while a lady was arranging coffee cups, just for her to tell me in the end that it's only table service, so could not get the ice-cream? why not tell me in the beginning and not make me wait while she was dealing with the cups?

Absolutely brilliant! The resort is huge, it takes up almost the entire beach which is amazing as you can pop between each one. It’s right next to a scenic harbour with loads of things to do & the beach which was amazing. The rooms were really lovely, air con was brilliant and the facilities inside them were so accommodating. Some furniture items were a little scratched and marked but that is what to be expected. The staff were incredible!! So so friendly and welcoming particularly the front desk staff + the entertainment staff around the pool really gave it a great atmosphere. Momo was full of energy and provided many laughs during our stay! We only had breakfast included, but it was the best breakfast variety I’ve seen in a long time. The food quality was brilliant, so fresh + the produce was great. It was very tempting to go all inclusive. During our stay we booked the hotels Italian restaurant on the harbour and it was a dreamy experience watching the sunset. If you are staying definitely book!! I couldn’t have asked for a better stay here and would 10/10 recommend every bit! Wish we stayed longer.

A tiny recommendation would be to clean walls + bits out of the salty pool next to the castle with the bridge. It was our favourite pool but it was very dirty on the walls and on the floor of the pool with moss and black. Otherwise everything was perfect :)
