- The location (close to the airport, directly at the beach) - The facilities of the resort - The exclusive facilities and services for the guests of Barcelo Royal - Most members of the staff were very kind - My wife needed medical support and the hotel managed a visit by the doctor very quickly

- The wifi connection was pretty poor. The connection was lost very frequently even with good coverage - There was no music at the pool bar. When we asked for the reason we were told that their sound system is broken. It was strange that it could not be repaired during our entire stay... - The food was ok, but to be earnest I expected more... especially from the exclusive restaurants for the Royal level - The water in the pool was too cold and most people found it uncomfortable, therefore the pool was usually not used up until the afternoon when it warmed up a little bit and the temperature of the water become more comfortable. - Some of the members of the staff did obviously not like their jobs... some others were not properly trained. Possibly a trend in the industry.

Beautiful rooms and huge comfortable bed. Fantastic heated pool. Lots of available sunbeds. The staff are so friendly and helpful. Ideal position facing the beach, although better beach about a 20 min walk up the sea front. We were half board and breakfast was excellent. The evening meal is just ok but needs to be hotter. We had a very relaxing stay, we loved it. Nice little outside garden and terrace with chairs and a table. Very comfortable and peaceful.

The staff deliver a chocolate each evening about 6pm and let themselves into your room. One time they came into the bedroom when I was in the shower. It is very intrusive at a very inconvenient time. You can cancel this at reception which we did. Pointless extra we felt. The food needs hot plates in the evening. There is constant music around the pool which is irritating and can be a bit loud at times.

Good location, good rooms..great breakfast.. dinner not so good (although there was plenty of choice) Pool was lovely although they played music all day long which is great for some but if you want to relax and read like me..it was very irritating Staff were very friendly

Dinner was great, with royal level it allows you to eat at both the Mexican buffet restaurant and the Brazilian one. Both were fantastic! The staff in the Mexican restaurant were great and really created a good fun atmosphere! Also some of the best cocktails we have ever had! Breakfast in the Royal level buffet restaurant was outstanding too! The bed was huge and extremely comfortable! Having a free mini bar was also a nice bonus.

The pool area was sightly frustrating, as walking to breakfast you can see practically all the sun facing loungers were already taken up with towels, the owners of which were nowhere to be seen. One couple who were next to us did not even turn up until 1300! There were also lots of people around the Royal Level pool without Royal Level wristbands. I don’t blame the people because there was no obvious indication that it is for Royal Level residents- tbh, I’m still not sure. That being said, the hotel is so big there were always plenty of loungers around the other pools.

Fabulous location 10 mins from the airport. Staff so helpful and friendly. Adult pool amazing so warm.

Check out difficult- needs to be a check out point at the adults only site 6pm chocolate each evening isn’t needed

breakfast was good, good selection. The only down side was you had to order your coffee and a selection of eggs from your table, sometimes this took a while to be served and our coffees were cold by the time we got them.

the hotel and surrounds were absolutely beautiful, the heated pool was amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful.the rooms were lovely and clean and the whole area was very peaceful. we were half board but we were really dissapointed with the evening dinner. the food itself would have been lovely if it wasn't cold. unless you picked something for the cooks to cook fresh for you the food was guaranteed to be Luke warm or cold which was a shame because the dishes would have been quite tasty.the hotel should definitely invest in some hot plates to keep the food hot.

staff access as a solo traveler I found the fact that staff could access my room a little unnerving. that being said a turn down service is something that I could have cancelled

Beautiful bungalow, luxurious beds, beautifully designed, free mini bar pack and chocolate and chocolate lady came round with free chocolate on Friday night. Pool was like so lovely and warm almost like therapy ❤️ great views and food was absolutely beautiful

Asked verbally, emailed and asked through Booking. Com for a late checkout but noone got back to us as they said they would and noone even acknowledged the emails or Booking.com message. This was very disappointing and unusual for such a professionally run place 🤔

From the hotel, in a pictured seaside area, you can reach 1 hour Morro Jable and 40 min Corralejo. It was very quiet and if you are a couple, I really suggest from all Barcelo’ Hotels to choose the “Adults only” resort. The breakfast was great with many different options. The Spa Thalasso’ s gym and facilities were very convenient for your staying. Alessandra, delivered a great customer service and she always went that extra mile to accommodate any request.

The food quality offered by the restaurants within the Barcelo’ resort was quite disappointing. Especially, we really found very poor the Rodizio Restaurant. Unfortunately, we really suggest to avoid that place if you dont want to feel sick the day after and the quality of the meat is very poor. Additionally, even in Caleta de Fuste, there are not many places to have a great dinner.

Absolutely loved the restaurant, bar, pool area and the wonderful friendly staff. The breakfast was wonderful and we always found something to enjoy at the buffet. The staff went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.

Our rooms were near to the road. Unfortunately the hotel was full, so we weren’t able to move.
