The terrible noise of a generator outside our room all night. The room could have done with some TLC. Felt a little unloved and could have done with some paint and less badly painted furniture eg desk and tv unit.

A great period hotel with a history to tell. Nice outdoor pool and bar area. Breakfast and evening meal buffet style. 300m from Girona Barcelona railway line, great for city visits. Bed was comfy. Some other restaurants in Calde de Mallavella.

Rooms were a little tired, ours was second class or "interior" which was not made clear at booking. The decor was damaged and the sliding wardrobe door broken. There is no "restaurant". It contained an exhibition when we were there. It was called "Delicus" and we assumed it to be operational when booking. The booking.com website and photo set still suggests this is true. It is not, if you book then you eat in the buffet area with a special menu. The buffet is an eat as much as you like experience, it was rapid and soul-less. No romantic, charming holiday memories here.

The poolside balinese beds are limited but we we lucky to get one for the afternoon. People tend to reserve them with towels and clothes during the day so they don't become avaliable. Tip.. You have to get there early to get one. It's fairly quiet around the pool too with a garden area and ping pong table. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied. The rooms are quiet spacious. Bottle of complimentary water in the mini fridge. Receptionists was quick and efficient and let us stay 1 hour more in the room which was very nice. Ample parking within the grounds.

Beautiful building with a large entrance leading up to it but did feel it lacked some maintenance and a good tidy up. An overall unkept look about it. The pool doesn't open till 10am but the gardener decided that 11am was the best time to get the lawnmower up and running next to the pool.

Lovely establishment. We went for a long weekend to relax and the hotel met our expectations. The room was comfortable. We got robes and slippers. We were also very happy with the outdoor pool and beautiful garden.

We were a bit disappointed by the prices of the spa treatments. We were hoping at least the sauna or indoor pool would be included in the room booking, but that was not the case. Overall, more expensive than in the city.

Hotel room was spacious with big beds and bathroom was larger than most rooms in other hotels :) Breakfast offer also was huge and tasty, I even had churros.

Can't say anything bad about hotel at all. Just sorry that we didn't have time to check their spa offers and pool and couldn't buy Vichy great produce to bring home because we had only cabin luggage.

Both the building and the garden are beautiful, there was a nice free music performance on saturday night and the thermal circuit is very nice. The triple room we booked really exceeded our expectations and the beds were very comfortable.

The first day de temperature of the indoor pools was not as good as the last time we were there. I would love to have an extended option of 1.5 to 2.0 hours in the thermal circuit, because the 1 hour treatment is too short. The most frustrating was to see the outdoor pool was closed till April. We should have been warned during the booking process. Last but not least, regarding food, the Tapas choice at the bar is very snall (just potato chips and olives) It would be nice to have at least a chees platter with some picos or regañás, boquerones en vinagre, etc ... This, is Spain after all! Re breakfast, fir such a nice health-improvement venue, the breakfast should include more vegetarian-vegan options ... war dishes were only sausages, bacon and fried eggs ... too basic. The breakfast and dinner is interesting. They have varieties of options and their food is fresh. Same for the hot spring, experience from there was really fun.

I don't like some of the workers, but it still depends. Most of them are amazing and cute. They are very helpful even in the midnight:))

The food was excellent, we booked half board. Hotel is spacious with a lovely pool. Very convenient for airport, but no airport noise.

Room we had was a bit basic, I thought being a spa hotel there would be more toiletries supplied.

on our way to southern Spain we selected the venue due to its proximity to highway and availability in booking.com. Definitely it is not the motel for one night, but rather a (good) idea for a longer stay with spa facilities and a resort feel. Kind of historically rooted facility with very kind staff and good food.
