Second time here in a month! This small hotel is in a perfect location , some rooms overlook the Balcón. My room on the second floor overlooked the main church plaza and was very good. The lady who cleaned the rooms was absolutely lovely. Room was warm, plenty of storage and a good size

Not what I didn’t like so much as a few niggles that could have been easily sorted. Pedal didn’t work on pedal bin in bathroom; showerhead could do with replacing…although water was lovely and hot; toilet role holder had no holder and frame kept falling off central heating control. Easy fixes! Breakfast was adequate but not exciting. Not real complaints because, overall, this is a nice little hotel.

Great location in El Balcon de Europa, right in the centre of the town and at walking distance of all amenities and beaches. Hotel is quiet and convenient. There is lift. Room was good sized, clean and adequate. The room faced an internal courtyard and was quiet at night in spite of the central location.

The hotel felt a bit impersonal. It is not possible to park in the surroundings as the whole area is pedestrianised, and finding parking is quite difficult in the town centre. There is a public car park (not free) less than 5 mins walk away.

Didn't like that I could not check in until 2pm. Didn't Like that the hostal was only opened between 2-6. On check out it was difficult for us as we went back to pick up luggage after breakfast at 12 and the key card did not work and no-one was there to help us.This resulted in a member of staff calling us and sounding angry and telling us we needed to leave. We tried to leave but because of the key card not working we couldnt get our luggage from the room. When check out time is 12 someone should be there to help guests

Location was great. We really loved the room.

We paid cash at the reception desk in 100 and 50 euro bills for the full stay. The lady was very honest because the next day she said I had given her too much because 2 - 50 euro bills had stuck together and she refunded one to me. Only problem was that at the end of our stay, the hostal billed my credit card at Booking . Com. for the full amount of the stay. I was charged a late payment and interest fee from Bank of America Visa plus the almost 900 euros we had paid in cash on the first day we stayed. I hope it was an error on their part and the fraud division is looking into it. Fortunately, we saved the payment receipt which was sent to Bank of America.

Fabulous location with the room overlooking balcon de europe. Check in very easy with friendly receptionist. Lovely and clean. Kettle and cups was provided after we requested it. We didnt have opportunity to try the restaurant as it was closed season.

We were enjoying watching a pigeon family feeding a baby pigeon in a hole in a tree outside our bedroom window for the first few days, however the third morning we were horrified to see someone up the tree stuffing up the hole with polystyrene and presume the baby pigeon had been removed. We dont know what happened to the baby but presumably it was destroyed? All the knot holes in the trees were being filled in this way. Im no sure if this activitity had been sanctioned by the hotel or the local authorities but it was very unpleasant to witness this. We understand pigeons can be a potential pest but a more humane way of dealing with this could surely be found without destroying nests.

The location of the hotel is excellent close to all amenities, our room was clean but a bit dark due to the fact that the sun did not shine on that side of the hotel. Breakfast was first class and excellent value for money Would we go back? yes definitely! in fact we are planning for October.

The location was perfect. I was attending a wedding in church on the Square. It is right beside the beach and lots of places nearby tp eat and drink and people watch. Staff on front desk friendly and bedroom and bathroom a good size.

Unsure how to check out as no one on front desk at 10am. The phone number to call wasnt answered. Restaurant staff not friendly but i only ate there twice.

The location was amazing, right at the Balcón de Europa, close to all restaurants/bars/markets. The hotel was located between two beaches and was a 20 minute walk to Playa Carabeillo. The hotel told us about where we could find free car parking on the street about a 10 minute walk away, there is an underground car park very close to hotel but was expensive to park all day. The room had a great view of the Balcon de Europa from the small balcony and the room was very clean with a large bottle of water provided on arrival. We stayed for three nights and the sheets were changed and fresh towels given during the stay. There was great security as you needed your key card to access the room floors. The shower was large with two shower heads with good water pressure. There was black out shutters on the windows, unsure if there was air con as we didn’t need in April.

Due to central location, we did hear some late night street noise from holiday goers. The balcony was small and fully enclosed with steel bars (but didnt obstruct the view at all or bother us)

Really lovely and super location

Restaurant and Bar were closed for duration of stay (till 23rd dec). I only found out the day before we traveled by chance. Wasn't a big deal as there are other places to eat and drink but would have been nice to have been told as I traveled with my elderly mother and breakfast onsite was reason I booked.

Location staff are great sitting outside was relaxing

Air con wasn’t on also telly had problem it was reported but never came to fix it
