The staff were very polite, helpful and friendly. All staff smiled a lot and appeared to enjoy working at this hotel. They all greeted us with a good morning and made us feel welcome. The hotel rooms were large with a very large, comfortable bed. The bathroom was huge, with a bath and walk in shower. The hotel was exceptionally clean. Dinner in the restaurant was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It was very good value for both the food and drinks. Breakfast was excellent. Probably the best quality breakfast we've had in a Spanish hotel. There was a varied choice from smoked salmon to serano ham. Freshly squeezed orange juice (use machine to make your own) and also freshly prepared omeletes made to order. Selection of lovely breads and pastry. Even local honey from Tenerife. We would highly recommend this hotel for quality, service and value for money. We will certainly return. *****

The hotel was beautifully clean and maintained with large areas of communal space to sit in. The restaurant was very good, the food was very reasonably priced and a good standard. The staff were fantastic all very friendly and helpful. Public transport was very good and easy to use.

The walk into town was a bit more difficult than I expected as the hill coming back was quite steep but that is only because my husband has some mobility difficulties.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, spoke perfect English. Parked in reserved space under the hotel. Room was very clean and air conditioned. Lovely outside terrace next to the bar.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. Breakfast room spotless. Some of the hot food was sadly cold.

We come here every year, this hotel feels like home, with exceptional staff and service. We have nothing but compliments regards to the room, food and service. The location is great too near the stadium.

The only thing is that the pool was not open on such a warm day. And the football had been rescheduled so this year we could not attend. We always save the best till last from our trip, south tenerife first then finish in the north with this hotel. Highly reccomend

The location is nice, up on a hill, opposite the stadium. We saw the fireworks of New Year from the terrace that face Piazza Espana. Breakfast is basic, but it has everything you need. Love the fresh orange juice. Staff is kind and helpful.

The furniture is a bit old, in special the doors of the room and bathroom. Also, the floor looks very old.

I slept better than my bed in this place. Seriously. Their pure cotton duvet is exceptional and I will change my own after experiencing how good it is. Their bathtub + shower combined bathroom felt spacious and served well for relaxation as well as a quick shower. The outdoor dining area had a spacious view of the area.

It's not the hotel itself but the location. If you don't drive and you want to explore the town, the hotel is approx 20 mins of down or uphill walk away from the majority of attractions.

The Hotel is really nice situated not far from the city centre. A walk down hill. A taxi back is recommended about 6 Euros in the day and 8 at night, The room was spacious and bed exceptionally comfortable. The bathroom was lovely with a bath and shower option. All really super clean. Staff very friendly. I would stay there again.

The location was very handy for Santa Cruz, and the rooms were very roomy. The breakfast terrace with a view of the sea and a cool bath for your feet was lovely. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The pool is small and in any case was not in use when I was there which was a shame. The breakfasts are not particularly inspiring, though the coffee was good

I like the space in the bedroom and the bathroom

The wooden floors are great but very noisy when maids or people are moving chairs etc They need to put some covering on the legs and it will be outstanding
