1. Neat location. You can get pretty much anywhere from here by bus, and if you don’t want to leave — there is a beautiful park with a cafe right outside. 2. The personnel is top notch, super helpful and communicating in a nice warm tone. This is what has made me want to come back in the future. 3. The overall approach to the facilities (ethical locally produced soap etc.) 4. Schedule at least one dinner at their restaurant, Cayote. They have vegetarian options and the service is awesome. 5. Nice, firm beds. 6. The pool jacuzzi was a life savior after a 6-hour mountain hike!

1. Weird acoustics. We could hear sounds coming from the gym, sometimes late at night and early in the morning as well. 2. One of the elevators was under maintenance, the other one couldn’t fit more than 4 people. 3. A sign at the pool said smoking’s prohibited and they definitely have cameras there; however, I was under the impression no one would ever look at the cameras — a group of tourists would fume all the time and no one from the staff would care. 4. The carpets looked destroyed. I’m not well-versed in the building’s history, but it looked new on photos.

General impressions: the breakfast was varied, corresponded to 4 stars, the room was always cleaned when I left a sign on the door, I had a fairly comfortable type of room with a balcony and a bathtub instead of a shower.

I rarely use the air conditioner, preferring to open the balcony, but when I needed to close the windows and turn on the air conditioner due to noise on the street, it did not work.

The staff were welcoming and ready to help. Everything about this hotel seems like it is very well thought to in detail. The tea bags and kettle in the room, the water in the fridge, the little chocolate, and the layout of the room itself. The gym amenities were just right, a combination of cardio machines and weights, benches, and pull-up bar. The pool on the roof is just enough to get you relaxed and ready to sunbathe, not to mention the location, opposite to a beautiful park.

I liked everything, but if I had to add an extra thing, it would be a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The restaurant maybe needed one more waiter. When I went there, the waiter was working hard, going back and forth. Nevertheless, the service was great.

Hotel Taburiente is a great choice in Santa Cruz de Tenerife! The staff are very friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home right away. 🏨 The swimming pool may be on the smaller side, but it’s clean, refreshing, and perfect for a quick dip. 💦 The gym is partly open-air, giving it a nice breeze, and while it has only basic machines, it’s enough for a holiday workout. 💪 Overall, the location is excellent, the price–value ratio is fantastic, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I’d happily stay here again! 🌴

Location was good, room was quite spacious, nice added touch of balcony overlooking the park however we paid an extra 35 euros to guarantee this. Breakfast was a self service buffet style with a good variety of choice. Within 5-10minutes walk we found a delightful shopping area, punctuated with some quirky cafes bars and restaurants as well as some lovely unusual shops. All on a downward hill though, be warned if you struggle to get around a bit. Also, nearby is the park with stunning species of plants and trees as well as good walking or sitting areas. Local buses also pass within a few minutes walk.

The cafe/bar area was situated in a corridor. Whilst there was a comfortable area with soft seating and tables in a calm colour scheme opposite, we prefer to sit at a bar. Definitely could be better designed with the customer experience in mind.

Stay in Taburiente hotel was great. Nice and big rooms. Great view from the rooftop. Nice area by the swimming pool. Breakfast was amazing - good quality food, very tasty, a lot of different options. Very kind staff. Localization was great. Hotel is located next to very nice park which makes it calmer. There is a parking spot underground which was important for us, as it is difficult to park in the city center.

Unfortunately the smell in our room wasn’t very good - as if the air conditioning was dirty. The food and service in the cafeteria isn’t the best. It’s simply ok.

The tarrace on the roof top is beautiful. The staff is very helpful and does everything to make the stay good as possible. I recommend checking if your room does have direct sunlight. Double beds are very big and comfortable. The shampoo and conditioner are very god and the soap as well, with olive oil.

The first room we got was not fully renovated. But we asked to get the same room as they show on the website and we got a new room for the rest of the stay. The hallways are still to be renovated i think, as they are pretty rusty and do not “fit” to the new look. We got new towels every day and the bed was made but the floor in the room was not very clean - needed both vacuuming and wiping. The bedroom door does not cancel any noice from the hallway so if you get a room for example beside the lift it will be noisy.

I like the hotel, even the single room are so dark and small you shouldnt sell at the same price. The location is ok 15 minutes walking to downtown but easy to move to other parts of the island

Services need to improve, they should be more profesional for 4 stars hotel. They dont even offer anything else, they dont even book your restaurant inside the hotel or whatever. They dont even know how to serve a Coffee... The restaurant no very good either...

Clean and comfortable room with the privacy of a large terrace granting lots of privacy. Gorgeous rooftop with excellent cocktails - gracias Romina. With water, tea and coffee available at all times by far the best city hotel I've ever stayed in. Relaxing and cosmopolitan right next to a beautiful park and great Indian restaurant. We were treated well even after our complaints. The staff was very helpful. They must hate the complaining they get because of #150.

Asked for the change of the mattress on a run down spring mattress sofa that was so inconvenient and squeaky, missing some structural joints in the frame and literally shaking under me. You could feel the springs piercing through the 30+ yrs old mattress. Dear management if you set the rates for that room €200 a night, don't save on the mattress that costs 1 night revenue. Luckily the MOD offered a different room that was so much better in quality of furniture. Please renovate room 150. Also take out the light blocking 2m walls from the middle of the rooms. They look awful and do not have any purpose. Dividers don't need to be made of bricks.
