We had a lovely stay here, the rooms are really nice, the breakfast is good but was usually served cold, the swimming pool and grounds are fabulous. As the other reviews have stated, the understanding of English at this hotel is very limited. Some of the staff here appear very unfriendly, we weren't too sure why. We were staying when there was power and internet outage in Pai and it was difficult with no communications. The young man on reception has little understanding of English but was very friendly and helpful. It is a bit of a walk from walking street but is set in beautiful countryside.

We had a really enjoyable stay here. The pool was great—clean, well-maintained, and perfect for cooling off. Our room was nice and offered great value for money. One of the highlights was the large outdoor space, which gave us plenty of room to relax and unwind. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

The place has a lot of charm, but it could do with a bit of modernisation in some areas. There were noticeable gaps around the doors and windows, which meant the occasional insect found its way in. It wasn’t a major issue, but worth noting. With a few updates, this could be an even more comfortable spot.

Enjoyed our stay at Pai Vieng that we extended one extra night. Location of property was out of town - about a 15 minute walk away however scenery was really nice. Easy enough to get around with scooter. The pool facilities were really great! Breakfast was buffet type style with same selection each morning. Staff were kind & cleaning of room was offered each day. Able to support/arrange scooter rental with local company. Room was comfortable on arrival. Ants and various insects but to be expected staying in the middle of a field. Overall great stay in Pai!

The staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our stay. However, we did experience a few disappointments. We extended our stay by an extra night, we had to move rooms, and unfortunately the new room wasn’t ready by the stated check-in time, which left us waiting around unexpectedly. We also planned our transfer to Chiang Mai based on being dropped off at 7am, as stated as a set time, only to be told last-minute that the driver wouldn’t be available until 8am instead. Overall, we appreciated the kindness of the staff, but better communication and organisation would have made the stay much smoother.

Hotel was in a lovely setting. Beautiful gardens. Mountain backdrop. Rooms are light, airy, with a nice terrace to chill outside your room. The staff were lovely. Very close to the Karen village, White Buddha. I'd say hire a scooter as it's a lovely area to blat around in. If you can ride a bike, get scooter lessons in town. It's a great way to get about. Pai is one of my favourite locations after 2.5months of travel through Thailand and Vietnam. And this is a great spot. Lots of lovely coffee for breakfast and options. And the swimming pool is delicious, in such a gorgeous outdoor garden. Highly recommend if you want a wee bit of luxury for great value.

The view was exceptional and better than expected from the deluxe room with views of the Big Buddah on the mountain. Room # L2. Cats were friendly and social, often walking down the road to greet you when coming back from town. The pool was really clean and welcoming. The property was clean. Oh yeah, they have an espresso machine, which is one of the reasons I booked this place vs others, lol. Check in was easy, check out was easy, and staff was available when needed. Seperated from the center but close enough to get to everything.

People talking loud at night in the common area/ front courtyard which sucked for trying to sleep two nights in a row. Wasn't terrible just mumblings and a few outbursts until 12ish at night. Wish staff regulated noise past 10pm but I might be too old for Pai so there is that. Another small issue was the breakfast was cold even at 7:30am. Really a minor fix to keep the heatpads on, but for some reason, no matter how many reviews say the breakfast is cold, it's not a priority. I would just serve a cold breakfast menu to get around this issue but hey, I'm just a nobody :)

incredible location truly one of a kind, felt like a studio ghibli film at times. resort quiet and very peaceful (what i was looking for at time). top room was great, great shower, aircon, balcony and balcony view amazing.

the pool was dirty for the first 3 days (algae i think) but they cleaned it up and was great for rest of stay. was fortunate to have an extended stay otherwise would have been a bit disappointing if i wasn't able to use pool. hopefully they keep it well maintained because its amazing when clean.

Beautifully designed French provincial style in the common areas and modern Asian rooms. We had two different rooms as we extended our stay .. both with an awesome view of Buddha on the hill and settled right into nature and the well maintained gardens. The staff are helpful and the breakfast is great.

The property is a reasonable walk from town particularly if you have already had a substantial walk around the town through the markets. While the hotel offers a free shuttle in the back of a pick up truck to and from town until 10pm it is not able to be relied upon as the staff are not always contactable particularly in the evening after dinner. Public transport and taxis are incredibly limited and there are no tuk tuks in Pai. Travelling around Pai is best done with hired scooters or be prepared to walk approx 2km back to the hotel with last portion on a dark road through fields of rice paddy’s.

Wonderful location and charming property with lovely decorations and a very relaxing atmosphere about a 20 minute walk from downtown Pai. The views were of mountains and Buddhas and rice fields perfect for a relaxing holiday....

No place is absolutely perfect. But this place comes close. Only issue was the construction noise where a private gym was being built next to reception. Irritating. And the second issue was the problem with getting to use the TV cable network. No staff at the resort knew how to use the complex sophisticated system to access a wide selection of channels so it was a waste....
