We had a suite which meant that our children had their own bedroom with big single beds and their own bathroom. It was excellent to have 2 bedrooms and bathrooms and have a walk in shower and having a bathroom with a bath on holiday was a real treat. I had requested ground floor if possible and was lucky enough to be given a ground floor room With access to a pool and sun loungers which was really lovely. The massages were lovely and very reasonable especially given the 50% discount at the time we were there. We had massages every day.

I did not like that you were only allowed to smoke in designated ages areas of which there was few. I also did not like that you could not get a nice coffee before 11am (only the canteen coffees out of the machines which were not great) we also did not like that the bar closed at 10pm. This is very early on holiday and something that we have not experienced before. I also did not like that it wasn’t made clear that the water at the beach is unusable at the time we were there as I chose the hotel based on the fact you had access to the beach

Super comfy soft bed. Received an upgrade to a family room and absolutely loved the extra space and larger balcony. Large fridge too. Room had everything we needed and the balcony had sun beds and chairs and an umbrella. Staff were very accommodating. Very professional communications. Several different pools to explore. Very nice bathroom. Free coffees in the foyer 24/7. Beach access. Umbellas in the room. Beach/pool bag in the room. Good lighting & efficient a/c in the room

Pool slide was out of order during our stay. Balcony could have been cleaner - we seemed to get a lot of loose dirt stuck to our feet out there and bring it into the room. A door mat to wipe feet when entering the room from the balcony would help. It's a bit of a walk to the main strip with all the restaurants and shops (ca 10min)

We had an excellent stay at this hotel for two weeks. The breakfast was great, and they offer gluten-free options for those with dietary restrictions. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the main street. The hotel staff were all incredibly friendly and polite. The room was cleaned daily and kept spotless, with the housekeeping staff doing a great job. We felt very well taken care of during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel if you're visiting Khao Lak.

X10 is a beautiful and family friendly resort in a quiet spot just off the main road. The gardens and pools are beautiful and clean and the staff were always welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite that incorporated also two bathrooms and two balconies, one which lead straight out to the path and easy access to pools and stroll to the restaurants on site. The main room having a queen sized bed and the second room having two singles beds. The rooms are spacious with all amenities available for your comfort. Staff were absolutely amazing and accomodating, always welcoming and ensuring we had everything we needed. And housekeeping were professional, trustworthy and impeccable with the turn down service and restocking the fridge with water bottles. On site there are things to do for families with waterslide, kids club, playground, games tables and day spa - as well as happy hour and afternoon tea as well as family friendly cultural shows. There are multiple pools of varying depths, allowing for families to have a choice of which suites their needs, as well as an adult pool with swim up bar. Two restaurants on site helped with meal times for the relaxing days at the resort as well as delivering awesome room service. Prices are good and quality of food, drinks and cocktails were amazing! Access to the Main Street is easy with a walk or an air conditioned shuttle bus or taxi at a small cost. The resort organises them for you as well as to other places you would like to go. Our stay at X10 was absolutely amazing that we have started recommending it to our friends for their next holiday to Thailand. 😊

It's disgusting that they smoke downstairs in the lobby. The smell is worth going down the balconies in the morning, it’s impossible to breathe fresh air. Unconscious people sit all day near free coffee and suck cigarettes

We enjoyed X10 for many reasons, especially the lovely room upgrade in the Family Wing, right by the pool and close to the kids club, which we used often. The breakfast was fantastic, with thoughtful and healthy touches such as orange and cinnamon water or lemon and mint — a detail we really appreciated. Another great aspect of this resort is the kids club, which runs a full schedule from 9 to 5. It was such a plus for families, and they also offered fun activities for adults, like water polo (which was always popular) and aqua gymnastics, which we enjoyed. Evening entertainment, especially the Thai dancing, was an absolute highlight. Around the resort there are little sayings and write-ups that give a grounding, positive feel, which added to the atmosphere.

However, there were some downsides for us as a family with a four-year-old. The adults-only pool (16+) was located right by the beach and near some of the restaurants, which meant we couldn’t really enjoy that area together. It felt like a bit of a missed opportunity for families. In addition, getting to restaurants outside the resort wasn’t convenient — the closest options were at least a 10-minute walk away, which was challenging with a young child. That said, the resort restaurants themselves were very good.

Amazing time spent here. Kids had separate room with their own balcony onto pool. We were upgraded to pool access room . The entire resort is beautifully landscaped. Family pools, kids pools and adults only with swim up bar, perfect. Massages on the beach were fabulous. Close to shops restaurants and always taxi waiting . Shuttle but as we were a family the song teow taxi was cheaper. Breakfast was extensive. We had dinner on the beach and in the restaurant . The gym is fabulous with everything you need. Kids club available however we hired a nanny which was more expensive . Our 6 year old didnt want kids club as the kids did not speak English . It was low season so not as many families which has both advantages and disadvantages I would go again and recommend for families. Every afternoon there was popcorn and drinks complimentary for kids. Special mention to the guys in the pool organising games for kids and family each afternoon. The staff here are fabulous.

The gym states in English no children under 13. Unfortunately we were met with a family who obviously didnt read or speak English and their 3 children ran amok while the mums did their thing. Very annoying when you want to use equipment and kids are messing around with it. Maybe put sign on door in different languages clearly sating 13 and above.

Stunning hotel just a few minutes walk from the main street with access to all the bars and restaurants. Picture perfect rooms and ample pools with a swim up.pool bar and beach bar. The food and drinks were delicious and very reasonable. The hotel is right next to the beach, although it is not well used as the waters were choppy, but this could have just been the time of year that we were there. There are taxis readily available at reception and usually a tuk tuk available, which we used to get to the night market and tsunami museum, both just a 5 minute ride away.

We had a 2 bedroom suite each with a bathroom however, only one of the bathrooms had a shower. The bathroom in the kids room had no door and the sink was about 2ft high and not appropriate for teenagers or adults. The bathroom in our room had a sliding glass door which while frosted, wasn't great for privacy. A minor complaint though and we managed.

The resort was beautiful. The grounds are so well maintained. We stayed in a pool access room, beach wing which was brilliant. The room had a huge bed, decent sized fridge, with small freezer. There was a kettle, good size cups, glasses and tea bags and coffee replenished daily. Toiletries were nice and plentiful, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, shaving kit, sewing kit, toothbrush & paste. all the staff were all so lovely, including the gardeners and maintenance people. The pools were clean and plenty of room. There is plenty for children, including a water slide, play/paddle pool. There are daily activities for children and adults. Aqua fitness daily. The breakfast was amazing, something for everyone. It's cute that they even have special plates and cups for little kids. Makes them feel special. Every meal we ate at the main restaurant was nice and pretty well priced. Lots of selection too. You can have takeaway, room service, pool service and dine in one of the two restaurants. There is a kids club and a few different types of rooms. The Management were so lovely and all the staff made us feel very welcome from the get go.

There was nothing we didn't like. You have to walk about 750mtrs or get a taxi or shuttle bus to get to town. The resort charges 50 baht per person or a taxi is about 150 or 200 baht (not per individual) to get to town or back. There are 3 shuttles per day, both ways.

Best hotel complex I have stayed in to date. All staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Pools are fantastic. Main adult pool with swim up bar is brilliant. Main pool backs onto the beach. Beach itself is very quite with no tail boats or people trying to sell you goods / food. No loud music. Mainly just the families / guests of the hotels that are along this stretch. Bang Niang market / restaurants only a 5 min cab from hotel for 100 baht per person. Rooms are immaculate and very well maintained. AC works well and room service available. Fresh towels brought to your room at request / changed over if left on floor. Would definitely stay again in the future.
