A gem of a hotel! Staff - perfect, helpful, friendly. Room - excellent. Breakfast - varied and plentiful. I stayed 4 nights and would have happily stayed even longer. I shall go back!

Nothing really....or nothing the hotel can improve. If all the hotels in the town have an issue it's parking but what are they supposed to do about that?! The hotel could not be more accommodating and let you use their short driveway to unload and load. I think the 600 CZK per 24 hours car park standard charge is excessive when you compare it to 10€ to 15€ per day in most comparable cities and towns in Europe. I actually found a street to park on and paid nothing. I WOULD have (happily?) paid 300 CZK to 400 CZK a day.... Not the hotel's/hotels' problem but a town council/tourism authority problem.

The reception staff is outstanding -helpful, caring. friendly. The hotel is in a good location and the view is spectacular. The breakfast buffet offers a reasonably wide choice of foods, including good quality fruits and fine yoghurts.

A few minor points - the reception was unmanned for a large part of the night, our shower booth was rather small, every bed appears to have only one pillow which may not be sufficient for guests who wish, or need, to sleep with their head slightly elevated, we could not find any camomile tea at breakfast

Wonderful Stay with a Stunning View! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Our stay at Jean De Carro was absolutely amazing! The room was clean, spacious, and offered a breathtaking view of Karlovy Vary. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh ingredients. The wellness center was the perfect place to relax – the sauna, jacuzzi, and peaceful atmosphere made our stay even more enjoyable. A big plus was the convenient parking right at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and always ready to help. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would love to come back! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in the heart of Karlovy Vary. 💙

Not quite the easiest place to reach by car and with very limited parking. But not too hard to find alternative parking nearby. Very friendly and competent welcome and, although we refused our first room (up in the lift but then down two flights of stairs) the replacement was light, roomy and with a splendid view over the town. Supper was not memorable and the dining room was empty by 20.30 but no criticism of the much more populated breakfast next morning. Fairly steep walk downhill to town centre (and uphill coming back!) but nonetheless pretty close. We'd happily stay again.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The rooms were clean, although the furniture was a bit old-fashioned, but it added to the charm of the place. The mattresses were soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The location of the hotel couldn't have been better, with easy access to all the main attractions. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The price for the location was great. It's on a small hill overlooking the city center ( 3 minute walk down to the main geyser). The staff was very friendly and serviceable. The room was big, clean, sunny and bright and had all of the needed amenities.The furniture was simple but comfortable and the room had a massive mirror, a television and a writing desk, as well as a refrigerator. The hotel had a good choice for breakfast( omelette , different types of sausages, donuts, marmelade, coffee, juice etc.)and the croissants, specifically, were delicious.

I liked all of it to be honest. The fact that it's situated on a small hill ( albeit a very small one which takes maximum 3 minutes to climb from St.Mary Magdalene Church) may not be for people who have very very severe leg problems or need a wheelchair.

I liked the location of the hotel, there was a nice view from the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

I didn't like the bed my child had to sleep on. It was very uncomfortable and you could feel the metal frame of the bed.

The hotel and the room were clean, the staff very nice and the breakfast ok. The view from the room was amazing over all the town. Beautiful.

There weren't unpleasant things, maybe the road to come down to the hotel can be improved but it doesn't depend on the hotel.

too small breakfast restaurant, poor quality cold cuts, sometimes there was no butter and it had to be replaced with soft cheese

We were received by a marvellously kind receptionist, who exhausted all our wishes concerning our stay. We enjoyed the spectacular view and the perfect situation of the hotel.
