We love this hotel. We have stayed there at least 8 times. The location near the parks and the ferry are great but the view is really wonderful. The breakfast is the best of any hotel or resort in Turkey.

There is some miscalculation between booking.com and this hotel. Booking.com shows that our 10 year old daughter stays free. It states this very clearly on the reservation but when we arrived the person at the counter told us that we should pay more for our daughter. I showed him the reservation and he still tried to have us pay more. After I became irritated he accepted spoke with his manager and accepted our reservation. Somebody between booking.com and Cevahir should fix this issue. Otherwise the rest of the customer service is really great!

I recently stayed at Cevahir Hotel Istanbul Asia, and it turned out to be one of the most pleasant parts of my trip. From the moment I checked in, I felt like I had made the right choice. The location is perfect – right by the sea, with stunning views and easy access to the Princes’ Islands. I loved being able to stroll along the waterfront, where plenty of restaurants and cafés make evenings feel so lively yet relaxed. The breakfast was a highlight of my mornings. Honestly, it was more than just breakfast – it felt like a feast. The variety was impressive, everything was fresh, and it really gave me the best start to my day. As for the amenities, I couldn’t have asked for more. My room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and reliable WiFi. I also took some time to enjoy the pools – both indoor and outdoor – and the Turkish bath was such a nice way to unwind after a long day of exploring. What stood out most, though, was the staff. Every interaction I had was warm and professional. They were always polite, attentive, and ready to help, which made me feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, I’d say this hotel is excellent value for money. Cleanliness, comfort, and service are all top-notch, and I can easily see why so many people return here. I know I would love to come back on my next trip to Istanbul’s Asian side.

Honestly, everything about my stay at Cevahir Hotel Istanbul Asia was up to the mark. From the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the breakfast, amenities, and staff – I truly have nothing to complain about. It was a seamless and enjoyable experience from start to finish.

The room was big enough for 3 of us( kid 9years old).the additional mattress on the sofa bed really makes a difference. The breakfast was with great variety. The gym is very well equipped with Technogym.

If you prefer sea view( it is really worth it), the deal breaker is that it is also with a main boulevard view , thus you hear all the vehicles . I have booked Deluxe with sea view and on the pictures it was stated with a bath tub, but ours didn’t have.

I loved the room and the breakfast. Room is clean and very compfortable with a lot of space. Breakfast was very nice and also the staff was focused on details. They were continuously checking on us. Also walking distance to beach area where you can have a nice walk and also to a lot of local restaurants and coffees.

Reception area could be improved. Missed a better chilling area to have coffee, there were sofas but then you have to order from restaurant then they did not have all the options for coffee and drinks. This can be improved.

Good location, polite staff. Especially manager Emre - very attentive. Good choices for breakfast. Good size of swimming pool, well equipped gym and nice sauna.

1. We were surprised that guests are not allowed to use swimming pool without a swimming head cap, despite, me and my friend have very short hair cut. We were told that we have to buy it from them. It’s not about money it’s about strange rule. 2. We think for this kind of hotel would be very helpful to have a good coffee machine for guests during the breakfast.

The pool is at the back so it is sunny in the morning and lunch but then shadow of the hotel casts over the pool. It is not sunny late afternoon. Both indoor and outdoor pool needs some TLC, the steps are too large for the elderly and not easy to access for the elderly. The location is far away from some of the attractions and restaurants.

The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, conveniently close to all the major attractions on the Anatolian side. The room was spacious, well-decorated, and the facilities provided were exceptional, far exceeding our expectations. Additionally, the restaurant offered a diverse menu with delicious options, providing a wonderful dining experience.

One day, the chlorine level of the pool was a little higher than usual, caused noticeable eye irritation after swimming. To avoid any discomfort or potential harm, remember to wear protective goggles before diving into the pool.

Amazing view over the water, cool feature to have a button to open the curtains next to the bed ;-) The curtains blacked out the light completely which was nice! The beds were very comfortable (even the bed-couch), nice smell of the bed sheets. Nice ambient lights, also in the bathroom. Amazing breakfast buffet! (coffee, unfortunately as in many hotels, was not as good) Really nice outdoor pool, but also one inside (including fitness center and massages, which we did not test). Friendly staff, very quiet location in Maltepe. Approx. 15 min walking you can find a more lively street with some restaurants and bars.

The room smelled a little like cigarettes (despite a smoke-free room, probably a smell from the past). The aircon was a bit loud for the night and it was not possible to turn it off, so it was coldish (the bed sheets were great though). Bare in mind that the restaurant and bar does not serve ANY alcoholic drinks!

I absolutely loved the location and cleanliness of this hotel. It was spotless and well-maintained, which made the stay so comfortable. The best part was how close it was to the waterfront — we just crossed the street and were greeted with the most beautiful view of the Marmara Sea. Truly a perfect spot for relaxing walks and taking in the scenery. Highly recommended!

It was a great experience overall

We stay here often. We like it a lot. This time we got a room on the front corner of the hotel. It was one of the best sunsets we have ever seen. Very beautiful. Food is always very good. Location so good. We love to take the water ferry over to the islands. Lots of shopping very near. Bus, taxi, metro all nearby.

I am not used to being yelled at by the lady who mops the floor in the pool area. I have been there many times and all over Turkey and never heard that men have to wear a swim cap. I have short hair. My beard is longer than my hair. Now I understand that it is a rule and I won't break it. But they should find a better way to treat their customers!!!! I'm not sure why they let people sit in their private parking lot with the car radio turned up very loud for long periods in the middle of the night. I would think that they would not allow this. It ruined my sleep one night.
