The service of the stuff is excellent. The night receptionist who welcomed us at 04.30 in the morning was great. He was very friendly, helpful and also shared all the details required. A nice welcoming is a great start of your stay in a hotel. Hakan Bey at the reception was very friendly, helpful and professional. He helped us with airport transfer , taxi bookings during our stay and all our requests we had during our stay in their hotel. Hafize Hanim from the room cleaning team was very polite, helpful and friendly too. All the staff in the kitchen, reception, room service were excellent. Breakfast buffet was great with the local specialities and other offerings. All fresh and tasty. The location of the hotel is great you walk couple of meters to the sea and can go easily to the different places in the city. We had our dog with us and this was also very good at the hotel in terms of having your pet with you. We will definitely stay there again next time and recommend it too.

The view from the Malta Bosphorus Hotel was nothing short of mind-blowing. It was a sight that left us utterly gobsmacked. As for the apartment itself, it was a delight. The decor was tasteful and the space was generously proportioned, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Every amenity I could have hoped for was at my fingertips, making our stay all the more enjoyable. But what truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service we received, particularly from the night concierge. In all my travels, I've encountered few professionals who exhibit such a level of dedication and expertise. It was a pleasure to interact with someone so committed to ensuring our stay was nothing short of perfect. I have no doubt that we shall be returning to the Malta Bosphorus Hotel in the future, and we will be sure to request the rooftop apartment once again. The combination of the breathtaking views, the well-appointed accommodations, and the outstanding service make it an irresistible destination for any traveler seeking an unforgettable experience in Istanbul.

This is a small independent hotel and excellent value for money. Friendly, helpful, comfy, a max 10 minute walk down the hill to the hub bub of the local area (we are slow walkers) Easy access to the waterfront, cobbled streets, cafes, restaurants and ferries. We stayed at a fraction of the cost the chain hotels charge and our room rate included a plentiful delicious Turkish breakfast.

The property was great. It’s quite a steep walk back up hill just because my husband doesn’t have the best mobility but you can always grab a taxi or take your time! Able bodied people wouldn’t have a problem and after eating the delicious Turkish food it wasn’t a bad thing to get in some steps!!

The rooms are getting old , the beds are not comfortable, the sink in the toilet needs repair , the quality of breakfast is not same as before . I really like this hotel and I would like to ask the management to work on these issues .

The location is great next to Ortakoy Mosque, kumpir places and the port where you can get a boat for a tour or as public transport too, very well.communicated.. the place is comfortable, very good breakfast and very good quality and price. Most importantly the staff is extremely helpful and nice. They have shown the famous Turkish hospitality to us. They were really helpful with every detail we needed. If we go back to Istanbul, we will definitely stay there again.

I enjoyed my stay in this hotel; the room was excellent, always super clean and pleasant. The location is also great, with many buses available to get to other parts of the city. The neighborhood is full of activities and delicious places to eat.

The breakfasts could have been better with more variety of foods.

Lovely boutique hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Well located in the heart of Örtakoy and thus quick access to both taxi's and ferries.

The shower and fridge need to be fixed

Everything was perfect about the hotel , the staff are amazing, the room was massive. The breakfast was really good for the size of hotel . It is very close to main part of Istanbul . We loved and we come back again .

The school behind our room

Everything was great but if I want to say what was the best thing… it was the staff they were so good and polite to me and my wife “Tahir, Nadire, Husnie, Chare, Murat Can and Kubra and that’s all I can remember lol the moment you arrive you feel comfortable and believe me I had some terrible experience going to other hotels in Istanbul. Rooms were clean and breakfast was very good so if you’re thinking of coming here don’t Hesitate

the only downside is the street slop that you have to walk to the hotel from the main street is very steep so If you’re old and not a fan of Taxi or coming on a budget I wouldn’t suggest coming here, other than that this place has nothing that I don’t like

It is a very nice hotel, well located in Ortaköy. The rooms are big and well equipped. Nice view. The breakfast is good. The service is excellent. There are lot of restaurants and shops nearby.

Be ready to walk about 300m uphill from the Ortaköy pier to reach the hotel.
