well, the hotel is just great in terms of location and proximity to the Sultanahmet (10 minutes by tram) and 20 minutes to the Grand Bazaar by walk. But also pleasant to walk due to many historical places on the way to Sultanahmet. The Staff is super friendly, starting from the receptionist and ending with the kitchen and barista. the lady in the kitchen is very kind and attentive. The cleanliness of the hotel, facilities and the rooms is exceptional. huge respect for that. really liked how roomy the hotel feels: spacious entrance, hallway, the coffee place, the kitchen on the right side with a lot of light and comfortable tables and chairs. Again, the rooms felt and were clean!

location - near a metro station, right in front of a convenience store and some restaurants staff - incredibly helpful and very friendly breakfast - good variety and delicious. I had a chance to try some typical Turkish food and enjoyed the experience very much room - very comfortable bed AC in the room - worked really well! price - a great price for what we got

The location was great in terms of being relatively close to all the places we wanted to visit, but it was not a particularly nice part of town. Not that it was not safe. I felt perfectly safe at all times. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Holiday Inn Istanbul Old City, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The staff were incredibly friendly, always going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. A special mention to managers at reception, who made our stay even more enjoyable with his hospitality. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well-maintained, offering comfortable beds that made for a restful night. We especially loved the variety and quality of the breakfast, which offered something for everyone. Whether you prefer a traditional Turkish spread or more continental options, the breakfast catered to all tastes. Additionally, the spa facilities, including the Turkish bath and sauna, provided the perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The hotel’s ambiance was peaceful, yet vibrant, making it ideal for families and couples alike. For anyone planning a trip to Istanbul, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Old City. Its combination of location, service, and amenities makes it a fantastic choice for both leisure and business travelers.

This hotel was excellent. The overall location of the hotel was fantastic, within the old town and walking distance to Aksaray tram stop and on the T1 line. The breakfast was good with a variety to choose from. The fact that they had lactose free milk was a bonus. The room was spacious enough and we did not feel crowded or on top of each other. The wifi was good as well as the fact that we had a choice of English channels.

Nothing much, but if I had to mention something, maybe a channel or two of English movies?

I had a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. When we found that the initial room wasn’t suitable for my mother due to some facilities, they promptly moved us to a more convenient room. As an extra gesture of goodwill, they provided complimentary breakfast coupons. Special thanks to Mr. Fatih, Redal, and Kemal for their exceptional cooperation and kindness throughout our stay. Ms Cigdom and her colleague in the café were particularly sweet and attentive. The hotel is impeccably clean, and the food services are available around the clock. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to others.

Everything was perfect ! Especially the front desk young gentleman working the night shift, he pleasantly greeted us, helped us with all our questions and went all out to give us comfort while in a strange city to us. The other gentleman working the morning shift was also pleasant and helped with arranging taxis. AOL were polite. The spa personnel was good too. We had massages and it was reasonable priced and hygienic. Our room was a bit hot so we opened the windows during the night. It would be helpful to be able to adjust your own temp in the room during wintertime. The central heat system did not work for us. The beds were comfortable! And the service in restaurant was good. Overall a great stay in Istanbul. The location is a bit far from sultanahmed but the tramway is a 5 min walk. So it’s a decent and safe location. One stop away from grand bazaar. 15 min. To all the attractions by tramway. The room was clean and modern. We will definitely consider the hotel again when we return to Turkey.

Breakfast could have been definitely better. We being Vegetarians had no thing to eat . Everything including Bread was having eggs. One day chef gave us a plate of fried potato or something which looked like Cutlets and said the same was Vegan. However we were having doubt and when we checked again it was chicken. Fortunately we checked before eating. Would be better if this vital point is taken note of .Please advise once Vegetarian options are available so that we can plan our next reip.

Great hotel to stay in! The staff was very welcoming and helpful, they even extended my check-out time for couple hours and helped to call a taxi to the airport. Breakfasts were amazing, lots of options to choose from. Room was very good, clean and spacious, with a nice view. Nice neighborhood.

The room got a little cold at night, but that wasnt a problem for me.

The breakfast was extensive and delicious. There was a lot of different items such as cold meats, eggs, cheeses, salads, breads, fruit.etc. Really impressive!

Nothing, the hotel team led by the manager Fatih made our stay very comfortable. We were greeted by Bektas on our first evening and he was so helpful in helping us book tours. When I lost my phone at Topkapi Palace, Fatih gave some veryhelpful advice and wrote me a note in Turkish to take there. I got ithe phone back! The staff really make this place stand out. They are friendly and very attentive. I would definitely stay here again when I revisit Istanbul.

1. Rooms are bit small for the brand though clean 2. Bit pricey for the type of accommodation 3. Toiletries were not there but shaving kit and dental kit were provided promptly. Boktas who checked us in was very helpful. Sorry if I miss spelled the name Well in understand room size cannot be increased now but overall a good experience
