Fabulous little find after being let down by the owner of 2417 OceanFront Condos! Very helpful staff at checkin and whilst decor was a little dated the location more than makes up for this. Walking distance to beach (non swimmable when we were there), great set of shops and restaurants and even into town. Can hire a cycle from the local market and ride the boardwalk for miles! Spacious room and an adequate sofa bed - a little thin and can feel the springs. Cannot beat value for money - each set of buildings had there own pool (a little chilly) , spa and dedicated carpark. We had K building which was furthest away from reception and right on the corner which made it an extremely quiet location.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Spacious, clean room with comfortable bed. Our room had a stunning view of the mountains. We were steps away from the pool where we spent our entire first day. Because there are multiple pools at this property, we had "our" pool all to ourselves!

The airconditioning was very loud and not very powerful and did not reach the bedroom. The pullout couch was uneven. We ended up sleeping: mom and two girls in the bed away from the A/C noise, and dad on the couch (not pulled out) to stay near the A/C to stay cool. There were only two pool towels available. The staff hand delivered more once the laundry was done, so that was really really nice, but it was just really late by then and we didn't need them anymore...

Flexible check in, we arrived when check in was already closed. They gave us the room code and facility code so we didn't have to wait until the morning. No house keeping, gotta keep the room clean yourself, so it felt like home, it even had a washer and drier. It was walking distance to everything, shopping, groceries, restaurants, even a pharmacy.

I can hear the neighbor upstairs walking around. Either he had heavy steps or the ceilings were just thin.

This is the place I come back to in Kauai! Location in Kapaa is perfect for taking sunrise pictures on the beach then a quick walk to Coconut Market for Kona coffee. I appreciated getting to prepare meals in the kitchen - adequately stocked! Mayacia made our stay great!

Pool was cooler than last time I stayed and the jets were not working in hot tub. Provide more clean towels, soaps, shampoo, TP, etc up front so guests don’t have to ask when run out … 3 people stayed 4 nights.

Great location! We wanted to be in the Kapaa area so it was a good choice. The shopping center next door was so convenient. We enjoyed the deli at Coconut Marketplace. The food was so good and it was so close to Plantation Hale Suites we just walked over. Great staff who were so friendly and helpful. Overall, good experience. We will probably stay there again the next time we're in Kauai.

The traffic could get really bad in the area. Two way streets were always making it hard to travel in both directions. You have to plan on leaving earlier to anywhere you are going to. Also, just wished the stove was updated, but it worked out fine. Appliances were a little old.

Everything was awesome. We enjoyed our stay and had much needed quiet time. Thank you for the beautiful location and most of all the staff was amazing. They always had smiles on their faces. Thank you

Work trip with event at the Sheraton and the Plantation Hale was an affordable alternative right next door. The property is spacious and has all of the conveniences of a home away from home.

I wish there were bathrooms or changing rooms with shower at the pool/ hot tub. The TVs did not have instructions for using the remotes or explaining channels available etc. There were only 2 coffee packets for a 3 night stay.

The place was great with all of the amenities of a small apartment. The pool and hot tub were great.

We had to evacuate do to a tsunami and were not able to use the first night because we were stuck up the mountain until almost midight.

The rooms and location were good and apt for us to go around for views and/or food/drinks. The staff were real friendly and helpful and made the stay even better.

The beach right in front of the property is walking distance and could have been little more friendly looking. The long grown grass with poor lit roads make it slightly scary for us outsiders. It might very well be a safe area but we couldn't take chance in a new place.

Very big apartment and quite clean. The kitchen is very well equipped with all the necessary including oven, microwave, bug refrigerator, dish soap, coffee maker, creamer, sugar, coffee, tea, salt, pepper...and they provide also beach towels and all the needed toiletries Good internet connection and very well connected by car, at walking distance of 2 different malls where there are several shops and restaurants. There is a beach 5 minutes walking that is also nice (not the best one in the island but quite good)

Something that can be improved is the beach towels. They are a bit small.
