the young woman at the front desk was super busy, but friendly, kept a good attitude, and was very helpful. she automatically switched our room to the second floor from the third when i asked about an elevator, as i have a bad back and stairs are difficult for me. the beds were super comfortable, with soft, high thread count sheets. i especially liked that the bedspread wasn't a polyester disaster, but a nice cotton coverlet, and the pillows were plump and firm. it's a great neighborhood with little independent restaurants all over the place, and a target right up the street for anything you might forget. we'll definitely stay here again.

the AC in our room didn't work, but it wasn't super hot in LA last weekend so it's not worth subtracting from their rating.

Room was very spacious. It even had a mini walk-in closet. Bed was very comfortable. The AC kept our room cool during a very hot spell in LA. Housekeeping was efficient and the coffee pods were replenished daily. It's in a quiet area and most restaurants close at 8:30-9:00PM. It's a short walk to a mall that has a Target store and some restaurants.

The entrance to the hotel is hard to find and the parking area has limited parking. Not a large selection of restaurants in the immediate area. Check out time is 11AM and housekeeping was knocking at the door at 11:10AM even though we asked the Front Desk for 20 extra minutes. There are 3 levels and no elevator that we saw. A damage deposit will be immediately taken off your credit card to be refunded later. We booked thru Booking.com so the rooms were prepaid and non-refundable.

I especially liked how spacious the rooms were. The first night, there were a lot of mosquitoes in our room, which we complained about. The desk clerk was cooperative and managed the problem immediately. Besides that, we were also pleasantly surprised that both the towels were changed and the room was cleaned every day. In older reviews, we read that the hotel was run-down from the outside, but it seemed that the entire building was renovated, so it appeared very modern and neat.

If you want to visit the city, remind yourself that it takes a long time to get to the beaches of LA due to the traffic jams.

We stayed here for 4 nights and our room was cleansed everyday including our pillows cases This place was very cozy and quiet. Even if our room was beside the busy street, it was very peaceful and not noticed a single noise while we were there.

I like the fact that it was convenient and accessible to every place where we went.

Clean room kind people that runs it my grandson love it he wanted to stay another night ..

I guess the deposit I wish they would have message me about 200.00 deposit that was not good but I understand it down town area in LA lol But I got my deposit back im very honest need person I never heard of this till I hit LA lol

Great location and friendly staff, nice room

Parking was tight and you had to get in early if you wanted a spot. Also people traveling with children next door is what woke me up early in the morning. Free wake up call : )

The room was very clean, comfortable.

There’s no elevator. Also I took a cold shower thinking there was no hot water because the red and blue indicator to turn on the shower was reversed. So when you turn the handle all the way to red it was cold. I only found out after once I called the front desk.

The bed was very comfortable. I slept through the night, which I don't even do at home!

I did have to run down the street to grab some drinking water. I understand I could drink from the tap, but I prefer bottled water when available.

Needed one night of lodging - in town for a night unexpectedly. This motel was perfectly located for where I needed to be. And the room ceiling had clouds and a couple birds painted - a very decent touch.

The room 201 had the best view of the street.

The room was clean except the hair dryer in the bathroom. The refrigerator cupboard was broken at a hinge. I was worried that I would be charged for it. Other than that I was comfortable.
