All the facilities were immaculate and organized. At first sight, the room looked higher than rated. The mattress was soft and clean. The restroom was spacious, and the hair dryer was much better than many hotels. I also love that they mostly have USB sockets everywhere so that I can quickly charge my phone next to me! The breakfast was also excellent. I love the crispy sausages!

The location isn't very friendly if you're not driving. It would take 20 minutes to walk from the nearest bus stop, where buses from Glendale Metrolink train station would stop by, and not many food choices nearby. The internet was pretty slow, so it was quite challenging to work when I needed to download files from my collaborators. The pillow was too soft and did not support my neck well, and the light switches were far from reach.

This efficient little hotel was a pleasant surprise! It has a really nice breakfast presentation with numerous choices, including freshly made hot and cold items. The gentleman who staffs the breakfast bar is extremely pleasant, hard-working and thoughtful to guests and deserves a special shout-out. (Be sure to bring some cash for his tip jar!) I was visiting family immediately after the horrible Altadena fire in January 2025 so there were many evacuees who'd settled into the hotel as their temporary home. The hotel also was housing a number of incredible Red Cross volunteers who were there to staff relief centers and assist victims. Because of these unusual circumstances, I was put in an accessible room, which was well-located at the quiet end of the hallway, but probably not laid-out in the same manner as an non-accessible guest room, so I don't feel that I can review the 'standard" guest rooms. For example, the bathroom sink was very low and it had no vanity to place anything on. The desk was built to accommodate a wheelchair. The coffee maker counter and wardrobe also were lower. The room was clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable, so no complaints at all about that! If you desire an accessible room, it couldn't have been nicer. It's just that I'm not used to the layout and missed one or two features. All said, I do recommend this hotel and wouldn't hesitate to stay here agin when in the Glendale/Pasadena/Los Feliz area. By the way, you're pretty car-dependent when staying here as it's not located close to any decent restaurants or visitor attractions.

This hotel was extremely clean. They were shampooing the carpets regularly during my stay. Staff were kind, considerate, and prompt with request. Good location - drive able to so many great places. Not quite as walkable as some other places I’ve stayed in Glendale but much cleaner and reasonably priced compared to most you can walk from. Coffee and breakfast are really good too!!

It was really clean. Breakfast food was good. Simple but good. Staff during the morning time were super nice...evenings were okay. Parking was $25 per night but located in a safe area. There's good restaurants nearby. Housekeeping is top notch!

There was a problem with the key sensor in our room..we had to go down twice back and forth and then the front desk lady ended up changing our room to a different one. Also, I wish the rooms were sound proof...we woke up so early due to the sounds of people walking around in the room above us. My toddler woke up too because of that and said she was scared and was just staring at the ceiling 😳 other than these 2 issues the hotel itself is at a good location and clean.

I had an excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Glendale Downtown! From the moment I walked in, the staff was warm and welcoming, ensuring a seamless check-in process. My room was impeccably clean, spacious, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the little touches, like the blackout curtains and a variety of pillow options. Not so many options for breakfast, but in genearl its good to start the day. The location is great and safe, nestled in downtown Glendale with easy access to shops, restaurants, and attractions. Definitely be staying here again next time I’m in the area!

i was not happy that at the price you charge for the room you charged extra 25$ for parking , that is an additional $75 i believe that parking for the security of your guest should be included in the price of the room,, or as a courtesy, its outrageous that you want me to be your guest but do not provide me with a safe place to park my car

Continental breakfast was a big hit. Underground gated parking also a big plus.

There were a couple minor maintenance issues in our room- there was a metal wire sticking out of the side of the box spring that cut us a couple times before we figured out where it was. The sofabed springs were VERY noisy any time a sleeper moved. The AC was a little loud.

Good location, close to restaurants..... Quiet neighborhood, no traffic congestion, no pollution. Facilities are very clean... Staff are very helpful and professional. The breakfast was a plus👍

Staff should be vigilant if some pillows are worn out because the customers should be comfortable at least to get a good night sleep. 🙂 Overall, the stay was excellent. I would recommend this hotel if you're in Glendale, California.

Location was perfect and the breakfast was a bonus.

There was an extra charge for parking on the premises, but we were able to park on nearby streets without a problem.

Everything was great. Only one thing i wish it will be addressed, the pressure of the water in the shower. But everything else was great. Will come back at this hotel again.
